This book was an unexpected gem with a very unique blend of fantasy and mystery! Although this book was a really quick read Chislon does a beautiful job at introducing us to the world and the characters. I still have so many questions!!!! This book serves as a prequel to her Blood of the Fae series and I for one cannot wait to learn more about Jessa’s story and her connection with nature and flowers. I love the Gaslamp fantasy setting and the way Chislon includes pure curiosity and creativity within her world. I highly recommend this novel for a cozy late night read!

You cannot miss this amazing and addicting series that pits mortals against the Fae in all out war! I was so excited to get my hands on Shadow and Crystal Thorns, book 2 in Kay L. Moody’s entrancing series and it did not disappoint! Fun and refreshing with a beautiful world to explore! This second installment was the perfect sequel and I was left speechless. You can truly feel a powerful growth in each character since book 1 (Flame and Crystal Thorns) and the courage and strength that Chloe emits is as graceful as it is motivational. We could all use a little bit more healing in our lives! I also really enjoyed getting to know Ludo and Mishti as much as possible! Kay L. Moody does a wonderful job at showing you the good and bad of both sides, the Fae and the Humans. I couldn’t even try to pick a side that I think deserved to win more. Some scenes were so emotionally intense that I caught myself creeping towards the edge of my seat! I am so excited to see how this series reaches its final conclusion in Blade and Crystal Thorns! March 21st cannot get here fast enough!

I have been trying to focus more on self love recently and this was just the book I needed to read! I learned alot about myself and wholeheartedly agreed with everything DeBlassie writes about. This book is extremely motivational and uplifting with such a powerful message it brought tears to my eyes. This is not the first book I’ve read by DeBlassie, and I am in love with her tone, style and passion. She is wonderfully talented and has an almost ethereal way of writing. This book truly made me more self aware of things I’ve never given a second thought. I am going to take a lot of her advice to heart and “ Do one thing each day” that makes me happy and believe that it is OK to prioritize myself. Thank you so much Maria DeBlassie for telling me exactly what I needed to hear. I really think your book found me in a time where I thought I was lost. This book is a must read!

Elinor Chalamet brings some unexpected intensity to my usually boring evenings! Love love love!! I am completely obsessed with the Madame Chalamet Ghost Mystery series and I can’t wait to read the third book! This series has everything that a cozy mystery needs! Elinor is relatable and intelligent and her relationship with the duke is so much fun to read! This was truly a great installment and it was so easy to fall right back into this delightful paranormal gaslamp fantasy! Even the character development was so realistic between Elinor and the duke it just hints at what’s to come without giving it all away. The ending had my jaw on the floor, very refreshingly unexpected! This book was easy to read but so hard to put down! I felt like I was flying through pages eager to find out more! I highly recommend this book to lovers of cozy gaslamp mysteries and people just looking for a fun series to read! Thank you Byrd Nash!!!

Every once in a while you find a book so unexpected that it takes you on a fantastical journey. That is what I found in this delightful novel, What Actually Happened To Isaac Moore by Samantha J Rose. It reminded me of Alice in Wonderland meets The Old Man And The Sea! This book (for me) felt nostalgic in the best way! It’s the perfect blend of action, adventure, and fantasy that will remind you of your childhood and the fairy tales that existed there! What Actually Happened To Isaac Moore has beautiful character development that doesn’t feel forced and fun relatable characters. This is the first book I have read by Samantha J Rose, but it will not be my last! I look forward to reading The Very Real World Of Emily Adams and other works by this wonderful author! I absolutely loved this book and I highly recommend it to anyone searching for something that they can’t put their finger on!

I absolutely love contemporary romance novels and I expect them to always be predictable. Wow. Was I wrong!!! The Daredevil by Nadia Han (WaterFyre series book 2) completely exceeded all my expectations and I am hooked! Truly action packed and immersive with suspense to spare! Her well written and extremely addicting plot and friends to lovers romance will have you up all night turning pages. Royce and Michelle were such interesting and enjoyable characters to get to know, and who doesn’t love a sexy nerd!!! Their jobs of being a travel blogger and Volcanologist were so cool.Their chemistry was truly believable and amazing. The way they help each other heal and face their past demons was very inspiring. I read this installment before reading book 1 The Mastermind and it definitely works as a stand alone novel but I cannot wait to go back and start The WaterFyre Series from the beginning, as I suggest you do, and be completely encapsulated by Nadia Hans’ world.

I absolutely loved this book! What a beautiful work of historical fiction! Larkin’s description and detail of the costumes for the masquerade ball were ethereal. I felt completely drawn into the story at that point. I also loved that this book gives off a Cinderella vibe but Kosta is the one that knows who Charmaine is. The emotions between Kosta and Charmaine are so intense and romantic that you can truly feel their passion. Charmaine’s character herself was really emotionally gripping with everything she is dealing with and the responsibilities she has on her shoulders. I found her relatable and Larkin’s writing makes it so easy to feel any emotion she is trying to portray. This book also exceeded my expectations with how many thrills and twists there were. It really kept me turning pages and I was pleasantly surprised. I am really looking forward to reading the next book in this series, Spellbound Seduction (The Brightley Sisters Book 2). I highly recommend giving this series a try. You’ll love what you find.

I am spellbound by this series! I adore Historical Fiction and Romance and Halley Larkin writes this series with such finesse! So far Arabella, or Bella is my favorite out of the three sisters. I was always the shyest one in my family so her and her hobbies really resonated with me. I also really enjoyed the inclusion of witchcraft. The family folklore and herbal remedies bring a new intrigue into The Brightley Sisters. The second chance at love romance was also really cute and had me rooting for Bella and Thomas’ relationship. With family secrets, lies, and true loves that were thought dead this book delivers and surpasses what it promises! I can’t wait for the final installment Enchanted Engagement to see how Larkin ends this utterly enchanting series.

Amazing! I loved delving deeper into this post-apocalyptic world. I can’t get enough of the Quirk Of Destiny trilogy! This second installment, Return to Gallanvaig, is frightening and emotional with another cliffhanger ending that will have you grasping for the final book in this thrilling series. I know I will be grabbing my copy of Destiny Of Light ASAP! This story really packs a punch, where good vs evil and science fiction meets real science to create a truly unique tale. Return to Gallanvaig really ups the ante with action, danger, and plenty of Genies under the control of Balthazar. I would highly suggest starting with book 1 A quirk of Destiny before reading this book, to get more understanding of Greenall’s world, you will not be disappointed! This series is truly a can’t miss for all sci fi lovers!

Wow, absolutely phenomenal read! A Quirk Of Destiny by Catherine Greenall grabs you from the very first page and will not let go! A Great introduction to a series that delivers so much more than it promises and zombies, or Genies are only the tip of the iceberg. With cover ups, twists and turns, corruption and conspiracies, and an ending that will leave you hanging needing to know more. Greenall creates an engaging and strongly written world that bleeds through the pages and sends a message that I won’t soon forget. What really is in our food. With that terrifying thought and how creepy the genies were this book gave me the chills. It really makes you think more about what we all put in our bodies and the consequences it could someday have. This is not your average apocalyptic sci fi thriller, within its pages are so many good ideas that we as a society should think about for our future. I cannot wait to start reading Return To Gallanvaig, her second book in this eye opening series. This book is definitely a must read with some scary realistic thoughts of where we could be headed.

I cannot wait to grab on to Storm Surge, CB Samet’s second book in this series! This book, Raine Down, was so much fun to read and it got my heart pumping! I am completely hooked on Raine and Will’s story and the demons they have to face! Jor gives me the creeps! I absolutely love the use of Norse mythology (especially in the curses)! Samet has such a unique way of writing and detail I could actually feel myself getting pulled into her story. With phrases like “split skin like butter” which gave me actual chills to “ A watery moon” her writing paints a beautiful picture of an engaging and magical world! With plenty of action, tension, mystery, and romance you should definitely join me in exploring this series! Highly recommend it!

This was a quirky and fun introduction to a series I can’t wait to read more of! Casey Cardels Mysty Haven is an addicting and unique world where the unbelievable exists and anything is possible. This first book leaves you needing to know EVERYTHING about this world! Bob Mclarney’s character is so interesting to be able to follow through this mystery and discovery of the town and its people. I would love to live in Mysty Haven! Dr. Frank N. Stein is what really got me hooked on this series! With a wonderfully campy and humorous plot Better Gnomes and Gardens draws you in and keeps you turning pages! !The twist on the fairytale genre is done really well with twists and surprises you will never see coming! This book made me believe in the supernatural! I am getting the next book ASAP!

This Compilation truly made me feel like I was home for Christmas watching Hallmark movies with my mom. It made me miss her a lot. The nostalgic, heartwarming, and familiar plot lines give it the perfect fireplace season feel where I was even reading this with a hot chocolate. The seven beautiful stories are full of love, passion, a few tears, and the Christmas Spirit! A Copper Penny Christmas really tugged at my heartstrings, I absolutely love dogs! I also loved the competitiveness and intensity of the cake decorating contest in Mistletoe Memories. It was a very fun read! These stories were so descriptive and entertaining that I felt like this book just flew by! I highly recommend to anyone looking for a book to read for the holidays that could make your season a little bit brighter!

Five year old Missy loves spiders, she sees them everywhere, they follow her everywhere, more than she can count. She even has an “imaginary” pet tarantula named Fred. She insists the eight legged creatures she sees are real but no one believes her until people start dying.
This is a book that will keep you up at night and jump from the slightest touch! I really enjoyed this unique read! Hawkins creates a world that is as creepy as it is mesmerizing. The fact that we, as the reader, are experiencing this from the perspective of a five year old makes this story even more horrifying. This book truly gave me goosebumps. Missy, Fred, and their spider friends have ensured that I will be terrified of spiders for the rest of my life. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a good scare!

This book grabbed me from the first line and wouldn’t let go! Ghost Talker by Byrd Nash is a perfect spooky mystery to curl up with, but beware, you won’t be able to put it down! The early 1900’s esque setting is vivid and beautiful and really works to set the perfect mood. I absolutely loved Elinor Chalamet’s Character, her skills, and her natural inquisitiveness. I also loved the scenes between her and the Duke of Archambeau, Tristan Fontaine, because they play off of each other really well and their relationship feels natural. Elinor and Tristan’s story is scary and gripping, with amazing twists and turns. Byrd Nash creates a truly satisfying ghost story that was a delight to read! I cannot wait to see what their next mystery is!

Borrowed Time by Lane Cohen is a wonderful time travel story with a lot of heart! This book draws you right in, putting you in The Old West dueling with outlaws! I really hope this book has a sequel! Protagonists Case and Samoset both desire to change the past one for an old love and the other to right a wrong done to his people. They are both really relatable and I instantly wanted to know more about them. Their flaws and motives are wholesome and make the characters feel real. I really enjoyed seeing how they changed as they got closer towards their discovery because you could truly feel the excitement! The pop culture references and the beautifully vivid writing and dialogue also helped bring this book to life. The accurate historical detail in it adds such grand adventure! There are many moments in this book that I didn’t expect and I was delightfully thrilled! In all, Lane Cohen provides a fun and quirky adventure that makes you think about what you would do if you could change the past and how it could affect the future? I highly recommend this book!

RL and Jayderay continue their terrifying adventure! I am completely obsessed with this series! It is full of dark, fun, twisted, and quirky humor with settings and characters to match. Robert Rife creates a weird (in the best sort of way) Sci-fi tale full of unexpected twists and turns and laugh out loud scares. I will now officially be afraid of slime! I really hope there is a book 3. I am not ready for this series to end. I highly recommend this to all lovers of Sci-fi and for anyone who just wants something unique.

This book had me captivated from the first page! Wonderful coming of age novel! You will enjoy every second of Bax, his friends and their Janni (Genie)! The enchanting word play and vivid sensory details like “ bleach and fried-chicken air” that Sullivan uses, easily transport you into their world and for me made me remember things about High School I’ve long forgotten. The characters were so fun to get to know, Janni is so unique and adorable that he just melted my heart and also made me laugh. It also has the perfect amount of mystery and suspense to keep you guessing and itching to know more about Bax and the Djinn’s. Overall this book has everything you could ask for: a great story, enchanting characters, fantastical events, thrilling suspense, and a memorable moral. I can’t wait to read more of J.L Sullivan’s work. This has been one of the best books I have read in a while. Thank you!

I have been wanting to start this series Ever since I first saw it and man I was not disappointed! Now I can’t wait to start the next book! I was hooked and completely drawn into Makayla’s world of ghouls and the undead! Grave Digger Academy is a super fun read that feels almost nostalgic! It’s so easy to be swept away by King’s writing style and dialogue as well as the relatable emotions of the characters. From the pressure put on Makayla to live up to her siblings to the loyalty of her new found friends like Leo. The magic and story line was perfectly eerie and dark, great for an October read! C.A. King weaves a creepy tale with tons of action, mystery, suspense, and humor that people of all ages are sure to love! I highly recommend this book!

Wow! I loved this book! Euphoric Wonderland by Ryan M. Becker is an inspired work of art! The pop culture references like The Beatles, Alice in Wonderland, Superheroes, and Pink Floyd really make this work relatable and memorable. From cover to cover the artwork and color palette is beautiful and trippy, very well thought out! These truly musical poems let you feel the rhythm and sound of each stanza. The title couldn’t have been more perfect! Becker writes with such humor and whimsy that even the title of each poem was endlessly entertaining. “Spelling Check You Break My Neck”. I laughed out loud! Some poems even left me breathless! It made me discover the weird and the bizarre in the best way! As a writer this book really inspired me to just write outside of the box without caring about “perfection”. I know this book will stick with me for a while. Thank you Ryan for writing something extremely fun, motivational, refreshing, and deep! Please Please give this book a try! You might be surprised by what you find in yourself!

River Witch by Cheryl Burman tells the story of Hester, a farmer’s daughter who wants to learn about herbs and be a healer, like her grandmother, to help the people she sees suffer. The river Sabrina whispers encouragement in her ear while her mother plans a marriage she hopes will settle Hester. Her only hope is Aaron, a powerful man who taught her the river’s true name. Will he teach her or cast her away to be Ordinary Folk?
This was such a good date night book I highly recommend it! For one thing the cover art is absolutely ethereal and really drew my eye. It was also a wonderfully relaxing read with a nice flow and dynamic characters that you can’t help but adore. The language Burman uses is absolutely beautiful and easily transports you to Shiphaven and the River Sabrina. The personification of the river herself and her secret name that only the wise unordinary folk know, was a really interesting way to bring life and magic to an otherwise ordinary world. I loved Hester’s blinding strength and determination through adversity. It was so motivational, it’s no wonder Sabrina spoke to her. I also really enjoyed Aaron’s character, every time I thought I figured him out something else would surprise me! This is a book that is so easy to get emotionally connected to with magic, mystery, love, herbal lore, and so much more that will make you want to fight for your own dreams!

Batista creates a beautiful and magical world full of rich mythology and captivating imagery that is so much fun to explore. The Forerunner series is a breath of fresh air and I love it! I think it’s awesome that he gives us a synopsis of what has happened in the series so far, before this installment begins. For people like me who sometimes don’t continue a series right away it was very helpful and brought me right back into his story and it fills you in even if you miss a book! The switching of perspectives throughout, also keeps the story moving and feeling fast paced without ever getting dull. It kept me updated on all of the characters too! I felt the passion and determination and even fear from everyone, their emotions came off flawlessly. I loved Kara and Kaelan’s relationship. It was so sweet no wonder the fairies were “attracted to their love like bees to honey.” I also really enjoy Thorfinn and his broken sax/ sword, and the mythical friends he makes. I highly recommend this series if you are looking for intrigue, action, mythology, and fun.

The Letter Carrier by L.C. Lewis tells the true story of the Naget family during the Nazi occupation of France at the time of WW2. Through the eyes of Michelle Naget, who was only a child at the time, the true horrors of the war are revealed. From the family’s attempt to flee France, to the Naget’s being captured by the Nazi’s, even being separated form one another, this outstanding novel will have you gripping the pages needing to know how Michelle, Mimie, survived.
I cannot say enough about this book. It is beautifully written and from page one this true story grabbed onto my emotions and wouldn’t let go. I admit I read some of L.C. Lewis’s words or Michelle’s memories through tears. I could feel Mimie’s fear of the unknown and almost hear the bullets raining down on them from the planes. The strength of the Naget clan is so unimaginable and filled me with such faith and hope. You can really feel the raw truth of what the war was like in France and it really made me reflect on a lot of things in my life and cherish them even more. This is not a book I will soon be forgetting! A must read!

What happens when a Bratva prince who steals and resells cars unknowingly kidnaps a world famous country music star?
Wow! I can’t wait to read more of this series! I loved every second of it! Leslie Georgeson creates an immersive world full of danger, fast cars, steamy romance, humor, and wonderful characters in this enemies to lovers mafia romance. I suggest you pick up her first book in the series and join The Popov Bratva from the beginning, but if you dont you can definitely read this book by itself too. This book gave me serious fast and furious vibes with the sexy fast sports cars and the fast paced action. From the first moment we are introduced to her I fell in love with Leah’s character. She is determined, strong, and a little bit reckless especially when she is flipping her kidnapper Dominik the bird. Their relationship is complex and steamy! Georgeson’s vivid descriptions, especially with certain characters’ looks, made this story so real and interesting. I will definitely be reading the rest of this series and catching up on the ones I missed! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a hot romance series to sink their teeth into!

I have never read anything like this! This story is everything you want it to be and more. Robert Rife creates a world full of monsters, aliens, love, and surprises in this delightful dark comedy where things can only get worse.
The dark and twisted humor and the weirdly fascinating story kept me turning pages! I absolutely loved it and can’t wait to pick up the next book! Robert Rife uses vivid imagery and language to bring these wonderfully bizarre characters to life. His use of dialogue like Deena Lynn’s bubbly “Okaydee?” or any of the dark jokes really captured me and brought some fun realism to this strange and scary tale. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to be horrified and laugh out loud at the same time!

What a wonderful debut novel, I was absolutely blown away! The magic and illusions are amazing and the competition is fierce! This book has everything you want from a YA novel and so much more, with wonderful twists and a super satisfying ending! Lisette is a well written and complex protagonist whose determination and desperation you can truly feel, and her rivalry with Luc is so entrancing. Brielle D. Porters’ writing is so magical that I felt like I was in Oasis with all of the unique and fun characters she created. This book truly reminded me why I’ve always loved the YA genre! A must read!!

All personal feelings must be put on hold however when a serial killer dubbed The Bathtub Killer, is loose and on a gruesome killing spree. To make matters worse the escorts he is mutilating are all brunettes with hazel eyes, just like her. Can Bobbi go undercover and catch this prolific killer or will she be his next victim?
I am on the edge of my seat, I need the next book ASAP! I loved it! This book was such a page-turner that makes you need to know more! Very well written and relatable characters ( I love Bobbi) and scenes packed with so much suspense and thrills! I really enjoyed the fact that R.L. Dunn created a crime thriller that had two female partners of the NYPD. It was a refreshing take that you don’t see very often. Her use of language and detail really makes this story so immersive and her clues and twists were woven in so perfectly! Such a great read! Highly recommend it!

Taylor’s Law is a quick and captivating read with relatable characters you can’t help but love. I love the strength and determination of Ella’s character after facing such hardships. This story truly has everything you would ever want in a book, secrets, lies, greed, love, humor and hope. You might need some tissues but I thoroughly recommend this book!!!

Such a fun ride!!! Courtney Davis’s, Princess Of Prias takes you on a grand adventure through the cosmos. Growing up without a mother or father, Elle has been questioning where she comes from for a very long time. Not to mention the strange blue star shaped birthmark she’s always had. When Warrior Locan comes bursting into her room spouting nonsense about Princesses and faraway planets, it’s almost impossible to believe, until he mentions her mother. Hope for the answers to the questions she’s always asked herself drives Elle into Locan’s spaceship. On a mission to save the people of her home planet from her evil uncle Temis, she learns who she truly is, and why the rebels need her help.
I had such a wonderful journey with Elle and Locan! I loved their relationship and how it manifested. This was such a unique and fun read with some deep and intense moments, it made me want more!!! Princess of Prias is fast paced and addicting. I could not put it down! Courtney Davis’s great world building and fantastical detail made the story feel so real. Every character had such rich character development even minor ones, I really felt for Leda and what she had been through. I highly recommend this book!!

A powerful and emotional story about a family coming together to keep their farm running after a tragic accident leaves their father disabled.
This book was so much more than I was expecting! Coming from a small farming town this story really hit home. Jessica Berg’s descriptions of the landscape and her attention to detail are so vivid and beautiful, the Lancaster’s journey was made all the more realistic. I absolutely loved it! Amber Waves Of Grace is a heartwarming and inspirational tale that at times drove me to tears. Very well written and relatable! It has everything you could ever want: a believable story, a genuine romance, and even a compelling mystery! I highly recommend reading Amber Waves of Grace and joining the Lancaster family through all their ups and downs!
