Irresistible Weddings (Irresistible Romance Book 4) Anthology – Review by Tausha Treadway

IRRESISTIBLE WEDDINGS (Irresistible Romance Book 4)IRRESISTIBLE WEDDINGS by Tamara Ferguson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Irresistible Weddings (Irresistible Romance Book 4) Anthology. I loved this book set. Its full of fun, emotional and deep stories of people during the most important day of their lives. There are 9 stories all about weddings, how they got there, if they go through with it and even some happily every afters. My favorite story was Two Hearts’ Alliance by Tamara Ferguson about 2 wounded warriors who are planning a wedding of convenience and someone who wants to stop it. Will they realize the marriage is more than just convenient and that they really love each other. I also loved Wedding At Firehouse Ranch by Suzanne Jenkins. Its the story of a curvy girl Emily Parker who is helping Paul Saint conquer his fear of commitment. Will she succeed. These 9 stories are full of love, they will make you laugh and have your emotions all over the place. A wonderful Anthology!

Boy on HoldBoy on Hold by J.D. Spero
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Boy on Hold by JD Spero. This book is geared toward young adult but I loved it and would read it again. Its the story of a single mom Marcella Trout and her boys Hen and Tyler. Tyler has just turned 17 and is the typical angry moody 17 year old. They live in a small town in the Adirondack’s. The family is very dysfunctional as are most families anymore. Anyway they have a tradition of a night called Cabbage night where kids go out and pull pranks all night. Hen has gone outside looking for a pet Hedgehog and instead sees something he will never get over. He witnesses one of his favorite people become the victim of murder and not long after his brother Tyler gets arrested for that murder. Does Hen have the answer to help his brother or did Tyler really kill his friend. As the Detectives begin to investigate some of the Trout families deep dark secrets come out. Will the Trout family survive all in one piece or will they break beyond the point of no return?

Love Gaia: The Diary DirectiveLove Gaia: The Diary Directive by T.L. Clark
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

ove Gaia: The Diary Directive by TL Clark. This is a great Young Adult dystopian read. The story is set in a post apocalyptic future world that goes between a diary that was written by one of the first survivors and the story of Aroha a young girl who is about to be an adult and her friends who are hearing the diary for the first time. Aroha and her friends have lived a very sheltered life. The diary talks of a time that was very dark, depressing and sheltered. During the same time Aroha and her friends are subjected to some very dark and trying times. They are weighed down by the responsibility and burden put upon them. The hope is they will learn from their past and not make the same mistakes that caused such devastation and changed the world as we know it. This is a deep, dark and devastating read but will really open your eyes.

Humiliating Revenge: Contemporary Young Adult Romance by T. Christensen. I love T. Christensen so I was excited to read this one. I loved the story of Calum Breen and Olivia Crawford. Olivia is the typical spoiled little rich girl who is the Mayor’s daughter. But what people don’t know is that Olivia’s father is overbearing and abusive. Calum is the star athlete who is sweet and can do no wrong in the town’s eyes. When Olivia humiliates him in front of the whole town he decides then and there he will make her pay one day. Calum becomes a MMA fighter and has returned to his home town. But once he returns and he gets to really know Olivia and some of her deep dark secrets then he’s not so sure he can hurt her more. Before he was the love struck young boy who Olivia made sure knew that he wasn’t good enough for. What will he do when he finds out Olivia isn’t as callous and mean as he thought. Will he be able to forgive her for the humiliation he suffered at her hands? This is a fast paced love story that will suck you in quickly!
