My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Sun at Twilight (Empire at Twilight Book 4) by N.L. Holmes. I have absolutely loved this series which shocks me because this is not my favorite genre. I have loved every book a little more than the one before. This one was just as amazing as the others. This one takes place during the Hittite Empire and where Tudhaliya IV is the ruler and he wants to shake things up a bit. He doesn’t want to listen to the Royal Advisors and wants to take the Kingdom in an entirely different direction. He seems to be more forgiving and not as harsh as previous rulers but his enemies see that as a weakness. This sign of weakness causes his cousin who is more like a brother Kurunta to challenge the Throne. Will Tudahaliya lose his Kingdom along with his cousin/friend or will he be able to change the way things have always been?

Hell In A Handbasket (Life is Hell Book 3) by Naomi Valkyrie. This is the 3rd installment in the Life is Hell series and its just as good as the 1st and 2nd if not better. I love Naomi Valkyrie so anything she writes I try to read. Its still set in Juniper Lake that seems so serene and peaceful but is anything but that. This is the story of Oren and Teivel who we met in the previous books but not much was told about them. Oren is a demon hunter who turns to demon Teivel for help in his training. He has tried to find anyone but Teivel but couldn’t come up with anyone else. This ends up being a mess for Oren because he is still a little new to the idea of being a Hunter and he also find Teivel a little attractive! The two have chemistry for days! Where Flowers Bloom by Nikki Vale – Review by Tausha Treadway

Where Flowers BloomWhere Flowers Bloom by Nikki Vale
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Where Flowers Bloom by Nikki Vale. This is such a good book I read it in one sitting. Its the story of Romance writer Kendyll who moves to North Carolina. She is also trying to come up with her own fairy tale ending but it is much easier to write about than actually live it. Kendyll has a long time fiance but the relationship has become very stale and she thinks this move will help. When Kendyll moves to North Carolina she ends up moving into a very old mansion and finds things from the past there. There is a ghost who still roams all over the mansion but he doesn’t expose himself to many. He is very angry so Kendyll wants to try to help the ghost because he is still very angry from things of the past. He was a plantation owner’s son and he was in love with a black slave girl which was very much forbidden. Is there a connection to this past story with Kendyll’s future. This story ties the past with the present and its a very emotional story.
