Slash & Burn (Nite Fire Book 4) by C. L. Schneider. I have loved this series and this is not my favorite genre so that says a lot. You could read this as a standalone but I recommend reading them in order to get the best enjoyment. We pick back up with Dahlia who is trying to get her life back in order as she is back to trying to save people. As the lies that have been spun for years begin to unravel Dahlia keeps coming back to the first case involving Ella Chandler. This leaves her not knowing who to really trust anymore. Dahlia figures out that if she doesn’t stop this stuff the world could be in jeopardy. Doing back to Dimerea with her team she is met with all kinds of danger.
