Evelyn fell for the class clown during her senior year when she was asked to tutor him. Damian fell for her as well but disappeared leaving Evie heartbroken. Many years later, Damian is an FBI agent working undercover and planted into a mob. This job makes him relocate, where he runs into the girl he never could get out of his head. Evie wants to know more about the man who makes her heart race. Will the mafia and secrets get in the way or will they finally get their second chance?
This book was amazing. This was a dark romance with action and steam. The characters were wonderful. I couldn’t stop reading until I finished the book!
