My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Jordan’s Shadow by T.R. Cupak. I LOVED this book. Its a very dark, moving read. Its the story of Jordan who is working for a coffee shop and has no friends. When she is offered a job as an escort she decides she doesn’t have anything to lose and everything to gain. She begins to use drugs and alcohol to dull the pain that subsides inside her. One night she meets someone named the Shadow and she feels like she may have something to look forward to with him. The Shadow becomes her lifeline and unbeknownst to her, he is trying to save her. Once a month her life seems brighter when he calls and if she can hold on maybe she can have a real life. This book deals with some very dark topics so be prepared. It deals with assault, drug/alcohol addiction, and depression. Its an amazing story of two people who cling to one another and have hope for their future regardless of their past!
