My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Naughty & Nice (Spicetopia #4) by Phoebe Alexander. I love this series and I love Phoebe Alexander so this was a wonderful read to me. This is the story of Micah Greene who has agreed to officiate a wedding at a theme park catering to “grown ups”. He has watched his brothers sleep with tons of women and all the chaos that it caused and he has sworn to not do that but once he arrives at Spicetopia he meets Natalie Roux the wedding planner and he doesn’t know if he’s strong enough to stay away from her. They have instant chemistry and they don’t understand it. This is Natalie’s first big job and she wants to make a good impression on her boss. She can’t get in trouble this week because its her bosses wedding she’s planning! Can Micah & Natalie keep their hands off each other long enough to pull this wedding off or will they blow it all? I love this series and I can’t wait for another book!

Testament of Feats: Book of Judgment,Testament of Feats: Book of Judgment, by K.H. Jones
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Testament of Feats: Book of Judgement Book One by K.H. Jones. This is the first book I’ve read by this author and I believe its his first book. Its a great read. Its a fantasy book which is not my favorite but this book pulled me in and wouldn’t let me go. It reminded me of The Hobbit and it was so interesting. It has all kinds of World building and you have to pay attention or you will get lost. Night Scream is a ranger and he is in search of another ranger named Warhold. Some people offer to help Scream but others are extremely dangerous to him. Scream has decided he will find what he wants no matter how many worlds it takes him to or how much danger it puts him in. Mr. Jones storytelling is amazing and so detailed. I’m sure this won’t be the last book I read by him.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Crown of Stones: Magic-Borne (Book 3) by C. L. Schneider. This is the final installment into this series and I’m sad for it to come to an end. It’s the story of the fate of Ian Troy. In one big swoop the resistance was gone and lives were lost and the Crown of Stones was no longer in reach for Ian. Ian has been thru so much on this long journey. He’s been knocked down, his magic stolen and betrayed by everyone. Knowing that the future is very bleak Ian tries to change events and save those that he cares about. Ian’s vision is not pretty and he’s afraid if this war keeps going the direction its heading no one will survive. This book is full of adventure, emotion and it keeps you on the seat of your chair. Risking Everything: A Steamy Anthology of First Responders by Kara Liane, K.L. Montgomery, Harlow Layne, Amanda Siegrist, A.K. MacBride, Jody Kaye, Syd Ryan, Alyne Hart, Kelsey Cheyenne, Larissa Gail. This is an amazing Anthology.
I loved all the stories but got it because of K.L. Montgomery! Reconstructed Heart is the story of Trey Prince and Jenna Labato. Jenna is a State Trooper and Trey is starting a new job with a Collision Reconstruction Unit. When Trey makes a startling discovery at an accident scene Jenna is the one who tries to help him pick up the pieces. Trey doesn’t think he will ever recover but Jenna is determined to try. Its a wonderful story with a strong Female lead for a change and I really liked that.
Beautiful Persuasion by A.K. MacBride is a great story as well. Its about Raelyn who is reeling from a breakup and Griffin who is a hot, sexy Irishman. When they share a night of passion Raelyn is trying to determine if Griffin is worth losing her family for.
Rescuing Ryan by Syd Ryan is a sweet story about a sexy firefighter named Chris and a girl named Ryan who is working her way thru nursing school any way she can. When she meets Chris he is coming off a bad relationship and he realizes Ryan is going to be his most difficult rescue ever.
I really loved all these stories. You should read this anthology you will not be disappointed.

Revive (Rewind #3)Revive by Rowan Shaw
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Revive (Rewind Book 3) by Rowan Shaw. This book was amazing. It’s the third book in the series but can be read as a standalone. I suggest reading the others first because other characters do appear in this book from the others. This book is the story of Patrick Lefevre who lives in France and is a very successful Psychotherapist. Patrick loves his family, friend and hookups! No relationships, he doesn’t have time for that. When he meets newly divorced Brandon Smith who is out with his ex and her friend they have an immediate connection. After talking for awhile they hook up and its amazing. Only Brandon doesn’t realize that Patrick is his new Therapist and his first appointment is tomorrow. Also throw in Brandon’s problem not being open about being bisexual and Patrick’s huge dislike for bisexuals there are kinks all over the place. Patrick realizes his feelings for Brandon are deeper than a one night stand but will all the red signs stop him from even trying. Brandon is also a single dad who may have to leave France for his daughter. This was such a fun read. Full of steamy scenes, emotions and love! Read Revive you won’t be disappointed!

Fire & Ice (Spicetopia #3)Fire & Ice by Phoebe Alexander
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Fire & Ice (Spicetopia Book 3) by Phoebe Alexander. This is the 3rd book in the series and one of my favorites! Its the story of someone trying to derail the grand opening of Spicetopia an adult themed park. Neve Romano is the Director of Security and on a Press Circuit with Enya Moore Director of Public Relations. They have never really gotten along but during this press junket they are thrown to rely on each other because someone is out to sabotage them and will stop at nothing. Neve is quiet and not much of a people person and Enya is a talker and seems to never stop. The heat between them picks up as they realize they are the only two people that can save each other. This series is so good and you could probably read this as a standalone but I highly recommend reading the first 2 books to get the whole background. You won’t be disappointed!

June is in love immediately with Maxine and it seems Maxine is intent on getting June and Graham together. My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Matt’s Swirly World: Children’s Book by Madeleine Matthews. I really loved this book and wish I had it when my son was younger. Its the story of a mom who is trying to teach her son how to process his emotions in a positive way. It teaches us that an outing to the park leaves Matthew with happy feelings until its time to leave and then he has a meltdown. His mom tells him the story of a angry dragon and helps him realize a calm voice and telling a story can help soothe the child and stops his meltdown. This book is a great resource for parents because it helps them to learn what is behind tantrums and how to teach impulse control. Its tells us that talking in a calm voice can soothe a child and minimize meltdowns. It also teaches kids self control skills which in this crazy world is very important. This is a great children’s book that parents, grandparents and teachers can learn a lot from it! (less)

Claiming the Cowboy for Christmas ( The Hills of Texas Book 4) by Kadie Scott. First off, I love Kadie Scott so most anything I see with her name on it I will read. This was a wonderful story that can be read as a standalone but I enjoy the continuation of characters in stories. This is the story of Ashley Hughes who is no fan of Christmas this year because she finds herself back home helping her twin sister plan her wedding to none other than Ashley’s ex. She is sick and tired of trying to convince everyone that she is over her ex she wishes she had even a pretend boyfriend to throw everyone off. Enter Jennings Hill who was Ashley’s ex best friend who still has feelings for Ashley but only wants to help her.
