The Crazy YatesThe Crazy Yates by Kimberly Packard
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Crazy Yates by Kimberly Packard. This is an amazing book. I wasn’t prepared for it to end as quickly as it did. I wanted it to continue which is the sign of a very good book. It’s the story of Callie Yates, the oldest daughter of 4 siblings. When her dad becomes very sick with anxiety and agoraphobic (won’t leave the house) she is stuck with taking care of the household including being the breadwinner. She works so hard and tries to give her siblings the childhood she never had. When she finds out her store is closing where she works, will the family be lost forever or will Callie find a Christmas Miracle? This book is so sweet, full of love and Christmas hope.

Rising Star by Susannah Nix. This is an amazing book that kept me flipping pages way into the night. Its the story of Alice Carlisle who has been doing jobs in Hollywood as an extra on a hit soap opera. She had also been working on her dissertation for a Ph. D. My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Eastern Shore Swingers Books 1-3 ( Boxed Set) By Phoebe Alexander. This is a great boxed set that will keep you reading well past your bedtime. They are books about The Factory, a swingers club in Ocean City, Maryland where people come from all over to play in different themed rooms and sometimes there is even romance thrown in. The first Book was my favorite but they are all amazing. Fisher of Men is the first book and its about Leah Miller who meets Chris “Cap” Sheldon who introduces her to “The Factory”. Leah is curious about the place but is afraid it conflicts with her Christian beliefs. Leah also struggles with feelings she develops for Cap. The 2nd book The Catch is about BBW burlesque dancer Paisley Parker becoming the manager of The Factory after Cap and Leah hand it over. She meets Internet guru Calvin Mitchell and sparks fly. The 3rd book Siren Call and its about Jesse Martinez who has always wanted to be a cop since she was little. Now she’s one in Ocean City so when The Sheldon’s ask her to keep an eye on the club for them she’s happy to oblige. The only problem being is the hot distraction of Sirena. Sirena wants nothing to do with a relationship but Jesse is determined. These are fun, sexy stories that will keep you turning the pages.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Cowboy: Claimed by Melissa Keir (Author), Cheryl Gorman (Author), Leslie P. Garcia (Author), Becca Turner (Author), Lyssa Layne (Author), D’Ann Lindun (Author). I loved this box set. All of the stories were so good. One of my favorites was Snow Bird Springs: Troy by Cheryl Gorman. Its the story of Alex Kent, a famous artist out of Chicago who has recently suffered a horrible tragedy. She moves to Snow Bird Springs Colorado to try to get her “mojo” back, since the tragedy she hasn’t painted anything. She meets Troy Slade shortly upon arriving and they hit if off instantly. Will Snow Bird Springs help her trust again or will she go back to Chicago still lost and hurting. Also Upstaging The Cowboy by Leslie P. Garcia was a sweet read. It’s the story of Stone Winters, a Marine who comes home and Price Adams, a film star. When the two meet they don’t think they can trust one another. Risking hurt is not what either of them signed up for. This is a Set full of sweet, Cowboy stories. I read them all and loved them all.
