My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Nikki Broadwell’s The Last Keeper of the Light is a dystopian fantasy. This science fiction themed novel is that dares to shift what we know to a complete different realm than what we believe to be ahead of us. It pushes to apocalyptic events that create a hallowing view of how lives must be fought for and the difficult paths being embarked. The main character, Sandal, is one that must make unimaginable decisions to survive and how to proceed as new people come in/out of her life as she is on her journey to survive. This novel captures your mind as you’re reading and pulls you into the story. It was very well written and addictive to finish.
