The Catch started off as a stimulating, romantic book two in the Eastern Shore Swingers series but eventually morphed a bit into a suspenseful mystery. There is someone targeting one of the members, Paisley, and making threats, and it escalates! Paisley may be sensually adventurous, but she’s pretty alone. She definitely thinks her bosses and Calvin can’t really want to be close to her for who she really is. What I like about Calvin is that he’s open-minded but won’t compromise on what he feels he deserves in a relationship. We also get to see how Leah, Cap, and Casey are doing. I enjoyed this, this series is really unlike others I’ve read.

Give and Take was a very funny love story! I mean, there were some laugh out loud moments in there. Wyatt is a pleasant surprise- with how stuffy and quiet he seems in the beginning, I loved seeing other sides to him. He definitely is thoughtful, has a sense of humor, and cares very deeply. Rhia is a girl who has no idea how cool and fun she is, or how those are positives. My heart breaks for her, but also there’s a strength in her for having put up with criticism for so long and still being her quirky, adorable self. This is book two in a series, but I was able to read it as a stand alone. However, now I really want to read ALL the others. I hope every sibling gets a book!

I have read all of the Rehoboth books, totally out of order but I have read them and I’ve loved every single one of them as with anything I read by this author…Just a note about this author…She is beyond amazing and is in my top 5 favorites..She actually has a book out that is absolutely in my top 5 of all time.. So back to this series…
Fat Girl – This one touched me in a completely different way then the rest…Connecting to the main character was simple as there were times in my life I was in a position that I felt like all of the words and feelings in this book were my own. I found myself getting so angry at Claire and just wanting to slap her, but on the other hand I really felt like she was very strong and confident in who she was even when she wasn’t happy with how she looked. I really loved how this story was told and how real everything felt. I appreciated the building of friendships and I especially liked that there was no love at first site, I really truly never got a feel for what might happen and with who till the very end, and this was different…Normally it is very apparent what will happen and who it will happen with. I laughed out loud many times throughout as well…Her comebacks to messages received cracked me up.
The Flip – I am absolutely in love with this book. The interaction between Andrew and Sonnet (competitive adversaries since childhood) and what they thought of each other cracked me up. I loved the way the story unfolded while giving us tidbits of the past and how these two arch enemies became the way they were. The author was really creative with the hilarious obstacles that kept popping up while they were redoing the house left to them, from millipedes to rusty nails, sinkholes and then oh my goodness an alligator in Delaware. I laughed out loud so many times. This book just plain made me feel good, I Loved It!!!!
Plot Twist – This is Meric and Lindy’s story, two people who aren’t perfect, just one of the reasons I love this author so very much…These two both dealing with their own issues made me fall in love with them just like every other character that this author writes about. She never shies away from letting these women be real and deal with real issues as far as their bodies are concerned..I can’t even begin to explain how refreshing that is. I loved this story and the return of the characters from previous books was something I loved, they didn’t just make a quick appearance, they were part of the story. I fell in love also with Lindy’s parents and with the way Lindy treated her parents.
Each one of these stories are solid no doubt about it 5 star books and I can’t recommend them enough, read the whole series and I just know you will fall in love with this author as I have. She’s amazing and makes every story feel like you are right there watching them all unfold.

This trilogy starts off with Alterations and is easy to read. It is a story about 3 different women with 3 different situations. Dr. Kite seems like a hero with his “alterations” for the women. Game Changer is book two and continues the story with Lilly, Ellen and Gigi. We learn how their lives have changed with their alterations from book 1. It is an interesting and intriguing read. The trilogy finishes up with Primal Will, which has a slightly twisted ending, so keep reading! Over all this trilogy was pretty good.

ALTERATIONS TRILOGY: Alterations, Game Changer, Primal Will by Jane Suen are a Sci Fi trilogy that are quick and easy reads.
Alterations is an interesting short tale and is full of suspense and mystery. The story is told in multiple POV’s which gives us the readers a better understanding of what the characters think, why they do what they do. Like our good doctor, Dr Kite. Is he a genius or is he Dr Frankenstein? Is he clever or is he crazy? And just what is he doing to people?
Game Changer: Book 2 holds you from start to finish. This book carries on in the same vein but has an under current of mystery and feels a tad sinister and I expect everything that is coming will end in an explosive way.
Primal Will: Book 3 is the last book in the trilogy and one that pulls a punch. Jane’s writing style and her plots keep you engaged every step of the way. Dr Kite is in the forefront of the story once again but is he still evil or will he trade it in a become Mr Nice? To find out you will just have to read this trilogy.

The Catch (Eastern Shore Swingers Book 2) by Phoebe Alexander is a story that is as enticing as it is sexy. I have not read on thing from Phoebe that I have not liked and this one makes you fall in love with our protagonist and relate to her on a personal level. Right from the start you are drawn in and Phoebe has done a great job in keeping the chills and drama, suspense and thrills flowing and emotions high. We find ourselves reading about a woman who is happy in her own skin and wears it well but deep down there is more going on but will she be able to face the truth and move on? There are hot and steamy scenes that will curl your toes and romance and laughter. It was also nice to check in on old friends, Leah, Cap and Casey from the first book. All of this makes for a good follow on and enjoyable read.

The Only One (The Brothers of Camelot Book 1) by Necie Navone is a story that will blow you away and make you fall in love with these wonderful characters. Right from the start you are drawn in and find yourself wanting to be a part of their world. Necie is a talented writer and keeps the suspense flowing and emotions high. There are moments when tensions are so high I found myself on the edge of my seat. Other times I found myself laughing and thinking of good times. Overall this is a great start to the series and if the rest of the series is anything like this first book then Necie will have a winner for awards. Necie has written her heart and soul in these characters and the plot is spot on and fast paced but you are able to follow along without any problems. I need me some more of the Camelot Brothers. Well done Necie!

Interesting novel. The most impressive part of the book is Pillar and the challenges she faces in her life, in the way her coming-of-age story explores identity. Pillar is a girl who is trying to find her place in a world surrounded by people with power. Everyone around her has power, but to be mundane, to be a null, especially with a mother who wasn’t, it complicates her life and, in ways, makes her an outcast. Which is unfortunate. But that’s also what makes Pillar strong. Pillar faces adversity from all around her, along with demons. Pillar is a great voice for a generation that often feels ignored. She has spent her whole life being put down only to rise in the face of adversity and challenge it, and that’s what makes her great, that challenge, that’s what makes her shine in the novel.
The added element of this hidden power she has within her, it also makes her compelling because it’s not a power she needs to define her, it’s just power she happens to have, the power that was hidden from everyone around her. And that’s great because it adds history to the novel, it adds context to the universe this story is being told in.
Now, the other characters in the novel, well the fact is that there are just too many. Some of them are great, but some of the dynamics between the characters, they don’t get to flourish as they should have. There’s just so much story crammed into this one novel that it almost feels like two novels are trying to coexist and squeeze together. Now, that’s only due to the pace of the book and the scene dynamics. There’s just so much richness in the scenes and story that once the door opens for exploration, its shut and the reader is shoved down a hall towards another door. That’s the biggest fault of the novel, this idea that so much had to be crammed into it for M.K. Theodoratus to tell this story and adventure of Pillar.
Despite that, however, the story is inventive and does provide readers a unique urban fantasy. It has a context to it and many great characters that make it a fun story. The story could have easily been 200 pages longer max, and it wouldn’t have dragged out the story. There’s just so much happening, and the level of detail makes the readers eager for something that doesn’t fully get explored. Pillar’s continuously moving in the novel and so it the reader. Roots are not forming here, but that might be intentional since Pillar is searching for roots of her own, a history of her own. So on that level, the reader can truly connect to the main character in a powerful way which is what makes the story, in the end, compelling.

The Alterations Trilogy is a thought provoking and interesting read by Jane Suen. I would categorize it a science fiction story that is a little mysterious and suspenseful. It is a very quick, easy read.
The trilogy consists of: -Alterations (Book #1) -Game Changer (Book #2) -Primal Will (Book #3)
An overview of the series: We meet Ellen, Gigi and Lilly who are all desperate to change aspects of themselves, in the hope of finding happiness. This is where Dr. Kite offers a procedure that he assures them will change their life. The procedure involves having an implant imbedded into them; the implant then controls their mind and alters them from the inside out. Will Ellen lose the weight she’s so desperate to rid herself of, find the self-respect she’s after and get a little romance in the process? Will Gigi find the true love she been yearning for? And can Lilly finally cast aside all the bitterness she harbours from her nasty divorce? An implant sound like such a simple way of fixing a multitude of problems. Could it really be that easy? Is there a catch? As we progress through the story and follow the women and Dr. Kite through their experiences we discover that there is a little more to the story than first meets the eye. With unforeseen issues, a couple of faulty chips, plots, and hidden agendas this trilogy kept me avidly reading to discover all the suspenseful and dramatic details. This was an interesting concept and gave me a lot to think about. The plot is quite complex and even with each book being a very quick and easy read, the story never lost momentum, but I would have liked a little more depth and character details/backstory- especially in the first book. But as the series progressed and the story evolved, I did enjoy it much more. I look forward to seeing what Ms. Suen does next.

The Boss written by Abigail Owen is the beginning to a great series. The characters were well written and the story was great it had push and pull to keep you guessing and wanting more. You knew something was coming but you didn’t know how bad it would be or the outcome. With Finn’s past he’s terrified to let anyone close especially women, definitely not a human woman. But then again he’s never met someone like Delany, the human who’s showing signs but doesn’t carry the mark. The dragon enforcers aren’t quite sure what to do with her but Finn knows he doesn’t want to let her go. I liked the ending it gives you closure but also the possibility of more, it could go either way. There is another story out :The Mate that I have not read yet but I want to now.

5 Star Credence Woods By Alexandria Sure is a romantic comedy that I literally couldn’t put down till I finished. I was hooked from the beginning all the way to the end. I freaking love Kennedy’s character she’s had a transformation with her weight and is also a workaholic. I can totally relate to her and her need to have control. But she does have a pretty amazing assistant who helps her out. Kennedy meets someone unexpectedly and finds out not everything is as it seems. Can she handle not having control?I found myself laughing at times but I also felt sad at times.i highly recommend this book especially if you want to know what happens. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

5 Star Running from Demons By M.K. Theodoratus is a fantasy/coming of age book.This is my first read by this Author and it won’t be my last. I truly enjoyed this book and had a hard time putting it down once I got started.This is the story about Pillar Beccon. She’s a young girl trying to find out more of her moms past. I found myself relating to Pillar at times. She’s a stubborn yet independent and one who cares about others. Pillar is also a null or someone without magic . She doesn’t always get treated the best by other people. Gryerrque is demon whom discovers pillar and what she is. Will pillar find out why her mom left her family?Does Gryerrque capture Pillar? I like this author’s style of writing and ability to grab one’s attention and keep it till the end. I highly recommend this book and can’t wait to read more from this Author. @ddaugh35

This is the first book I’ve read by this author and I really enjoyed it. It’s the first in a new series and I will be reading future installments for sure. This was a great set-up introducing “The Brothers of Camelot”.
Each brother has a unique back story and the THE ONLY ONE introduces Fitz and Bella. SWOON. He is a classic Alpha and was fun to read.
Their story is one of humor and romance and friendship. Gosh their friendship is something that is absolutely “pinky swear” worthy.
The story held my attention all the way through and while introducing all of the subcharacters, the author was able to disclose just enough about them to make me super curious.
I look forward to reading more about the “Brothers”.

This story had me in fits of laughter. Lexi is a goldmine. She was so honest about the reason behind her career choice. Honestly that sounds like a awful job seeing all those hot athletes in their birthday suits said no woman ever. Lol. I didn’t like the way Brett went about his revenge. Plus he never told Lexi. This story is perfect for a smooth read. Something you can sit down and enjoy without feeling like your wasting your time.The relationship between the characters was only tarnished by the secrets. They seemed real and perfect for each other. It’s crazy how our emotions drive us to do things we never would normally. For all intents and purposes Brett was a good guy he just got caught up in a foolish plot for revenge. Lexi was so vulnerable even though she portrayed such an outgoing and carefree persona. The Catch by Phoebe Alexander is book two of the Eastern Shore Swingers Series. This book can be read as a standalone. This book is really intended for readers 18+ due to subject content. I was pleasantly surprised to find out when I started reading that this book is pretty suspenseful. It definitely adds some layers to the book that really keeps you on the edge of your seat waiting to find out what happens.
As with book one, this book invites you to join the characters at a very specific type of club and the book really does a great job detailing the club and it’s activities so you feel like you’re right there. Paisley is very self-assured. She draws people in with that trait. She manages to draw Calvin in and it’s truly the last thing she wants. Relationships aren’t for her and she stands pretty firm on that. Will Paisley be able to rely on someone other than herself when he past comes back when she least expects it? Will Calvin be able to protect Paisley and convince her of their future?
Paisley doesn’t avoid relationships for no good reason. She tries to stand her ground as a way to protect Calvin just as Calvin is protective of her. I really enjoyed the depth the characters had and the chemistry between them. Paisley felt so real. She was flawed but she was aware of it and knew it was something she needed to work on for herself. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading the next book.

Hidden (Ash Park #4) by Meghan O’Flynn was another dark, gritty, tale that will give me nightmares.
The fourth book in the Ash Park series, and I didn’t think it could get any more, sinnister. Taking place two years after Repressed, an old foe has reservice, or rather, got sloppy and is once again on Petrosky’s and Morrison’s radar. This time the stress, guilt, and addiction is taking its toll on Petrosky, will this be his last case, or simply be his last….?
There is only so much the mind can take, and I will tell you that binge-reading this series has put me on the darker side of humanity. As much as I love this series, I found myself putting this book down, to regroup, look at kittens, before I could continue on. They say real life is stranger than fiction, well then you haven’t read anything from Meghan O’Flynn yet. This book is up there with some of the darkest of Criminal Minds episodes; and frankly, this whole series would make one hell of a TV series, or movie collection.
Meghan O’Flynn again has captured me with superb writing, and the ability to keep the tension, and suspense high with every word that is written. And not just around the killer, but around Petrosky. His mind has always been in a dark place because of his daughters gruesome death, but in this book, he’s on the edge. Every victim is her, every missing girl is her, every little girl/child he can’t save is her. That subplot got me hard in the feels, I know what it’s like to lose a family member to murder, it’s a pain that never heals. Petrosky, as a parent, won’t let himself heal, and that’s driving him to be self-destructive and losing his fight to be apart of the world. This book is a hard raw emotional read, that rips out your heart, stomps on it, only to repeat the process over and over.
Overall I give this book and series my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval. It’s one for the ages, and one that will leave you wondering why cops do what they do, and if you should be locking your family up and throwing away the key.
The Only One (Brothers of Camelot book 1) by Necie Navone 4 stars
Ive never read a book by this author and after finishing it I can’t give you a reason why other than she must have been hiding from me! I really enjoyed this book overall, it only had a couple parts where it felt repetitive but it didn’t take away from the story whatsoever. This revolves around Drake and Bella, and we get dual POV for this, which I LOVE! They were childhood best friends and while Drake made it known to hop beds, Bella was always waiting for him to take the next step with her. Years pass and with a big surprise they’re reunited.
I can’t wait to read more of these Camelot brothers, it seems like such a great group and each with a story to tell.

Paisley is now the manager of a lifestyle club in Ocean City, Maryland. She is new here, but she feels like she was meant for this job. She doesn’t really have too many friends, but the owners and other employees are very nice. They seem to trust her. When they assign her to have a website made for the club, this will change everything.
Calvin is the owner of a website development company who agrees to create site for Paisley. It isn’t really his lifestyle, but it is something new a different from what he normally does. Plus it means that he will see this beautiful woman more. But he knows Paisely is hiding behind her strong facade. What is it she’s hiding? And will he be able to make her see just how interested he really is?
This series is absolutely wonderful! The second book in the series, your favorite characters return, along with new ones you will never forget. As is usual with this author’s books, she mixes love, sex, humor and suspense into an intoxicating story that will leave you wanting more. This book fits right into the series and I highly recommend reading book one because it is also so good, but this book can be read as a standalone.
Once you read this, you will want too see more of Paisley and Calvin as much as I do. If you like steamy, fun books and have an open mind of the swinging lifestyle, this book (and series) is for you!

This book was action packed with great detail. Unfortunately i didn’t read the first book Cuz it’s not something I normally read. The author did a good job with this book. I unfortunately could not get into the book enough and found myself skimming as a I read. So I gave the book 4 stars because she was a good author from what I seen with a great eye for this genre. Which is evident in the writing. It was a good book just not something I would normally read or get into.

I love how Ms. Navone brought these wonderful characters to life and can’t wait to read the rest of the books in this series to see how the other Brothers of Camelot fair. I love the quick wit and the way Bella is so creative with her swearing. The chemistry between Bella is 100% off the charts, and they just meld together as a couple. I love how down to earth all of the characters are. This book flowed so well that I read it in one sitting. Necie Navone has definitely made it on to my must read authors list with this book. This book had my emotions going from laughing out loud to reaching for a tissue, and that is what truly makes a five star book for me. I highly recommend this book and I’m looking forward to digging into the next book in this series soon.

Repressed: An Ash Park Novel (Volume 3) by Meghan O’Flynn. This is the 3rd book in the Ash Park series and each one gets better to me. This one is about Curtis Morrison who is a newly married Ash Park Police officer. His past life was no where near his life today. He did things he doesn’t like to think about and is trying to forget. He has a new wife and baby, a great job and that is what he’s trying to focus on until his past comes back to haunt him. Someone has his wife and child. Will he have to go back to his old ways to get them back or will he lose them forever. Sometimes your past has a way of catching up with you. I read this book like the others in one sitting. Don’t start these books thinking, I’ll read a little here and there, nope, not going to happen! Can’t wait for the next book in this series!

Our Unexpected Hope by Michelle Sullivan is a contemporary romance that takes you on an emotional roller coaster ride. Our Unexpected Hope tells the story of Quinn and Noah. Quinn is a strong woman who is caring, kind and beautiful. Noah is the head chef at a restaurant. Noah wants to find out more about Quinn. He know there is something special about her and wants to get to know her better and find out what is so special.
Our Unexpected Hope is another great book by Michelle Sullivan. Her writing pulls you in and you do not want to stop reading. It is engaging, descriptive and flows. Her characters are well developed and very believable. You feel the emotions that they go through and you are cheering them on. I highly recommend this book it is definitely worth reading!

Hidden: An Ash Park Novel (Volume 4) by Meghan O’Flynn. I LOVE this series. They are creepy, messy and just a little crazy. Edward Petrosky is a detective who lives his job on his heart and in his head. He feels like he’s not done his job every time he thinks a killer gets away. During a new case, a grandmother is found on her lawn murdered. There are some child’s footsteps all around but no trace of the kid. Then when another woman is found murdered with the same brand on her Ed begins to thinks a killer he chased before is back on the prowl. Ed must up his game to catch this killer before he kills again and how many has he killed so far? These books suck you in and you won’t want to put them down so be prepared! Also you might not want to read them after dark !
The Catch by Phoebe Alexander is the second book in the Eastern Shore Swingers series and follows Paisley and Calvin’s relationship but will a blast from Paisley’s past be the downfall.
Paisley has moved from New York to be the Assistant Manager of “The Factory” in Ocean City but will her past stay there or will it follow her to this new start. Calvin is a 26 year old computer geek and is asked to create a website for “The Factory” but he is not prepared for the whirlwind that is Paisley Parker.
Paisley has had a not so great childhood, so she ran away to New York and ended up with a job as an Event Planner, she then interviewed for the job she now is in but her past has caught up with her but life has its own way of putting things in the way as she is looking for a person to set up the new website she runs into Calvin who is the total package and is handsome to boot.
Calvin falls for Paisley as soon as she walks into his office, the only thing is he has to try and convince her that he is the right person for her. After breaking through the will power he succeeds but something happens which has them afraid to go any further.
I loved the twist and turn of the story and the chemistry between the two main characters jumped off the page. I especially enjoyed the sassy nature of Paisley and felt that this character was so relate able that I fell in love with the character from the first couple of chapters. The story is well written and this is not the first book I have read by this author, Phoebe still keeps the stories fresh and real.
This book can be read as a stand alone but it would be good to read the other novels in this series to get to know there stories to. I can’t wait to read more books in this series.

I was truly amazed to find that this is the first book out by Necie Navone. The Only One was extremely well written and a joy to read. Interesting characters, witty banter, sexiness galore with a hint of mystery. Who could ask for anything more in a book?
Drake (aka Fitz) is the first of the Camelot Brothers we are introduced to. A rough childhood, Fitz never got close to anyone. He was a love’em and leave’em guy and was satisfied with his life until a special girl from his past walks back into his life and turns it upside down.
Isabella has a truly unique personality and outlook on life. Whereas her rich socialite mother is only concerned with money and status, Isabella wants more from her life. Determined to show everyone she is her own person, she returns to her childhood town and the memories she has of a boy named Drake. Can these two heal each other’s damaged hearts and rekindle their lost love?
From the very beginning, the reader is pulled into the lives of the wonderful characters Ms. Navone brings to the pages. The interaction between not just the main characters but the sub-characters snared me as a reader and I could not put the book down. Ms. Navone maintains a good flow throughout the book which made this a fun easy read. I am definitely looking forward to more from this author and from this series. Truly a great find and fabulous read for a first-time author!

Who is the first book in the Stalker Series by Megan Mitcham. As the first book in a new series, this story has really set the bar quite high for the rest of the books, setting the whole series off to a fantastic start. This story is a steamy psychological thriller that twists and turns and kept me guessing right through till the end. The intrigue, suspense, danger, tension and dramatic effects were really well developed, then tended and stoked to an intense level and skillfully drawn out by Ms. Mitcham. She definitely had me devouring the pages to try to figure out what was happening, what would happen next, and who the stalker was. Larkin Ashford has built her fashion empire from the ground up. She’s competent, creative, smart, and a shrewd business woman. She doesn’t believe in love or long-term relationships, as her past has left her quite jaded when it comes to romance and the ways of the world. Her mother died when she was young, and she has a strained relationship with her emotionally distant father. She spends almost all her time building her business and making it the success that it is. She does have a few really close friends that are uplifting, loyal and supportive. Things get quite interesting when the Board of Directors of her company strongly suggest that she needs to have a man beside her for her to be taken seriously, and even go so far as to advise that she needs to get married before she takes her company public. She resents this as she’s always been fiercely independent and feels that doesn’t need any man, either personally or professionally. But the Board are placing an enormous amount of pressure on her to conform to their wishes, so Larkin has no choice but to give the matter some serious consideration. As all of this is transpiring, strange things begin to happen, starting with grim floral arrangements that are accompanied by horrible messages. Then one night she’s alone on her rooftop, taking some personal time, when a mysterious stranger grabs her and pulls her away from the ledge. She’s terrified and takes off running as soon as he releases her. But she can’t stop thinking about him and soon realises that he grabbed her away from the edge because he mistakenly thought she was going to jump. But, if he doesn’t have a sinister intent, who is he and what was he doing on her private rooftop? It soon becomes apparent that she has a stalker- who is it and why are they stalking her? The danger soon escalates, taking a perilous turn. Will Larkin figure everything out before it’s too late? Who is the mysterious stranger and what does he really want? These two have electrifying chemistry right from the beginning, but what is his intent towards her, and is there more to their feelings than overwhelming lust, or will everything result in some painful memories, or worse? This book has a really captivating and beautiful cover, I spent quite a while just looking at it before finally opening the book. It is quite striking and made me want to find out more about the story. The first chapter was a little slow and I did worry for a little bit that the story wouldn’t live up to the promise of the blurb (and cover). But it soon became apparent that I had nothing to worry about, as the pace picked up and the story took off. I really couldn’t put the story down, I was determined to find some sort of clue and figure the whole thing out before everything was revealed. I had so many scenarios running through my mind, and even though I came close to guessing a few of the twists, I never really could have predicted the outcome. It was a deviously clever puzzle that I enjoyed unravelling, keeping me reading well past my bedtime just so I could wrap everything up. The epilogue in this book sets up the next book and it looks set to be awesome!! So now I really can’t wait to read Book #2 in the series, “WHY”- Genevieve’s story.

Deadly Alliance: A Fortis/Purgatory Crossover Novel By Maddie Wade and India Kells Rated 5 stars
This story completely drew me in and I was surprised and shocked over a few things that happened. This is a great meeting of these two agencies. I have never read the Purgatory Series but I have spent many a lovely evenings with Fortis Security. Meshing these two together is so seamless. It’s like they have been together all along. I certainly didn’t feel like I was reading two different stories.
It was nice meeting some new characters and seeing how they interact with each other. I get to hang out with some old favorites as well. The story moved along and I never got bored. There was excitement, some thrills, some wit and sass banter.
Doing this was a brilliant idea and hopefully (please *grin*) a new spin off will result. perfect title as well!!! I love reading each of these authors and blending them together just about made my day. After hanging out with Bea and her crew I need to check out the Purgatory series.

Fisher Of Men by Phoebe Alexander is book 1 of the Eastern Shore Swingers Series and where it all begins. Leah Miller was the Guest Experience Strategist at The Pearl. She pretty much ran the show. One night she had to fill in for as a bartender for a party in a private room that was booked. Life as she knew it changed on that day when she met Captain Chris Sheldon also know as Cap to all his friends. Leah only spoke with him for a little bit but, couldn’t seem to get him off her mind. She wasn’t exactly sure what kind of party she was bartending for. All she knew was the party was booked under Casey’s Group.
Leah and Cap end up seeing a lot of each other since Casey’s Group ended up booking a few parties at the Pearl. Also, Leah and Cap both had dogs they liked to walk on the beach. One day while Leah was there she ran into Cap. He was quite persistent. She finally agreed to go on a date with him. She was the furthest thing from a swinger though. Her dad was part of the church and Leah was expected to go to church every week and hopefully meet a nice young man. Not a swinger who had children only a few years younger then her.
This book had a lot of back and forth. Leah was falling for Cap but, she couldn’t picture herself going to swinger parties. She ended up going to party on New Year’s Eve where things had changed.
Can a sweet innocent vanilla woman actually be able to win the heart of man who is a bit older and much more experienced?
I thought this book was well written. I didn’t really care much for the character of Leah. I understand she was in a position she never thought she would be in but, she flipped back and forth so much. Cannot wait to read the next book!

Repressed (Ash Park #3) by Meghan O’Flynn was a dark, gritty psychological thriller, that like the past books in this series, had me hooked from start to finish.
The third book is the Ash Parks series, we are once again tossed into a deadly game, and one that surrounds a main recurring character Curtis Morrison. Meeting him in the first book, and following him to see what he has become, and then this book. I feel like this was happening to a close friend. Man I should not be benign reading this series, but I can’t stop. Not once I read the synopsis for this one and knowing that Cutis was going to be the next one to be put through hell. I just want to put him in a box, and put up a do not touch sign.
I don’t even know where to start. This book, was a lot harder for me because like I said I’ve been reading from book one. It would have been different if I was reading about a new character getting put through the ringer, but when it’s one that’s been there from the start, as a new bright eye detective, to now, married, baby.. it hits you hard. The writing does a great job at that, pulling you in, making you see boths sides. My heart was on the floor for most of this book. Meghan O’Flynn has a way with keeping the tone dark, gritty and has this way of just keeping the suspense, the mind games and the mystery high. And not just with the killer but with our MC as well. Cause we get to learn new things about Curtis, darker things. And as we have seen lately, your past is never truly buried.
Overall this book, so far, for me, has been the darkest, twisted, and the most engaging/entertaining read of the series. As much as I felt like my heart was about to be boot/ㅋ***** across the room, I could not put it down, look away, or breath. This book, and this series is fast becoming a fav of mine, and possibly the best of the year. So yes, I give this book and series my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval.
The Catch is the second book in the Eastern Shore Swingers series. It can be read as a standalone. It does reference characters from the first book, so if you want to know more about them I recommend going back and reading the first book as well.
The Catch has a different feel than the first book (which is also good). This story is filled with suspense and a bit of mystery. It also has a different feel in the way the relationship plays out. I enjoyed the development of Paisley’s character and the contrast between the way she shaped herself as an adult and what she dealt with as a child. I also loved that this book is body positive!
