I fell in love with this book just by reading the blurb. The premise was set to be funny with loads of laughing out loud moments. However I feared that the writing or the main characters will dissapoint. It wasn’t the case!!! Connor and Gabrielle are hilarious characters by law, add in the naughty idea that Gabrielle has in mind and it will let you in fits of laughter. Loved it!!

Please say this is not the end of the Darling Cove stories…I have grown to love these people so much and I don’t want this to end. Someone else kind of came into the picture a little stronger in this book and I would love to see her get her own story, maybe there’s a long lost Mallory cousin out there somewhere..LOL or maybe Dad deserves a story…
This book took my breath away, there were a few parts that scared me to death thinking oh my goodness no this can’t happen. I loved returning to Faith and Greg even though it was full of scary moments and a lot of secrets that threatened everything these two fought so hard for. The way this family pulls together was so heart warming and that is one of my favorite parts of these books.
This author has quickly become one of my favorites and I will be following her from here on and will be one clicking whatever I can get my hands on.
Thank you Miss Garland for a beautifully written series with some amazing characters and please don’t let this be the end!! I already want to reread all of them!

Must Be Crazy is book three in the Darling Cove series by Deborah Garland. I have lived, laughed and loved with the eccentric, eclectic and electric characters I have got to know. This author tastefully masters a slightly suspenseful romance and gives a new clarity to the genre.
Skye was the most complex character to get to know. It wasn’t as easy as the others were, which made her story hard fought and my favourite. Edward had a lot going on and with a huge amount of responsibility, he never forgot what was important and went out of his way to ensure everyone he held dear to him knew about it. And often. gentleness is portrayed in Deborah Garlands writing, but also the passionate, loving and honourable personalities are obvious. While what you read is what you get, if you take your time, there is a lot more hidden in the very depth of each story, just bursting to be revealed. You really do get more that you could have wished for. 5 stars.

Nathaniel is book one of the Dragon Hearts Series by Carole Mortimer. This is the first book I have read by Ms. Mortimer, but it definitely won’t be the last. I’m looking forward to reading the rest of this series. This book really sets the scene for this Dragon Shifter series featuring the Pendragon Brothers, all alpha dragon shifter’s looking for their fated mate before they become feral. This book grabbed my attention on the very first page and I couldn’t put it down until I read the last. Chloe is a reporter who discovers a castle while looking for a story in Wales. Nathaniel discovers Chloe walking on his property and the magic begins. I don’t read many shifter books, but I would definitely recommend this book and can’t wait to read the next book in this series.
My Free Life by Necie Navone is the third book in the My Life series. I loved this spin off series and learning about Alessandra and her life before. Of the three this was my favorite because to me it was the happiest of them.
Alessandra is hard and no fear, she showed it time and time again through this book and the series even when she was little.
She was pampered but her life was certainly not easy and that was show on to us time and time again. What she did have that a lot of people don’t usually have is the fierce love and loyalty of those around her. Her Uncle Lou and Nonna have been there from the very beginning and later she had Luigi, Pietro, Stephen, Antonio and many others.
I don’t want to wait to read her and Grayson’s story but unfortunately have to be patient and wait for it to come out. Have I mentioned how much I love this series?

Degrees of Control by Via Mari is the third book in the Prestian series. This story is amazing, so glad I have been keeping up with it and can’t wait to see what happens next with Katarina and Chase.
These two definitely haven’t had the easiest time together. Lots of interesting things happen to them again in this book. Feels like these two will never catch a break and just get to be a normal couple.
The one thing that is different is Katarina decides she isn’t going to sit there passively and watch everything happen. She helps out in a big way.
I love Katarina and Chase together and can’t wait to see what adventures they go through next, I seriously doubt whatever happens next will go without something happening to one of them.

The Moon in Her Eyes: A Witch’s Tale by Nikki Broadwell is a wonderful paranormal mystery, with romance, fantasy, magic, time travel, drama, and adventure. This is a standalone story, but not the first book with Emeline, the main character. Emeline is a time travelling witch who started her adventures in “A Witch in Time Saves Nine”, when she transports back in time, only to discover that she really has no control over when she travels, or where she ends up. This becomes quite a terrifying ordeal for her- but she figures she must be there for a reason, but any small changes she makes seems to have a flow on effect on the future, throwing everything out of whack. This story sees Emeline searching for the answers to putting things right, but the craziness seems to have no end. With things seeming to spiral out of control, Emeline is being blamed for all the terrible things that are happening. There is a lot at stake, including matters of the heart, and Emeline will need to work it all out and discover a way to set things right, before it’s too late. I love how Ms. Broadwell’s stories are always so original- infusing each one with her unique style and ‘feel’. I also enjoy how her stories include American Indian people, culture, and/or mythology as part of her storylines- for example here in Emeline’s stories we meet the Wampanoag people. I find this to be very creative and imaginative- and I also love how the magic and time travel was woven into the story. Ms. Broadwell creates vivid, fully realised, and believable world/s (times) in which she set her story. This plot switches back and forth from in time(s), as the whole story plays out. But, these transitions are quite smooth and seamless. Ms. Broadwell also includes some political and social issues which gives this story some added interest. The whole story has an “Outlander” x “Sliding Doors” feel to it, but with it’s own unique identity. An enjoyable and engaging read.

5 Star Caught In Make-Believe (The Caught Series Book 3) By Sharleen Scott is the third book in The Caught Series. This is a romantic suspense that I couldn’t put down once I started reading it. There are some twists and turns that had me on the edge of my seat. This can be read as standalone but I recommend reading the first two books as well as it will give you some background on the characters, but its not necessary. Jace has come home after being gone for five years,he’s a investigative writer. He’s been on the move but hiding since tragedy struck.Samatha has decided no more men for her that is until she meets Jace.The chemistry between these two is oh my Hot! Jace has a past that soon catches up to him and could put Sam in danger. This is a must read.I highly recommend reading this book not just this Book but the whole series. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

I really like finding new authors. This was such a refreshing read for me. I like to read various genres and I really liked how the author winds the story around the characters. It’s quite nice to have a unique character base.
I really like how the author made the character realistic as sometimes in books they just are too fake. Frank is so realatable. There is so much to be said for asterisk. The author really had me hooked on this book and I was glad to have a break from my normal steamy romances. This book really was a breath of fresh air for me. It wasn’t superficial it was a really great down to earth read and I will be reading it over and over.

I love this series, everything about it, the people, the town, the family, the friends, the writing and the way everything just flows. It is completely awesome!!
Now with all that said I can concentrate on just this book…I’m not sure how to put into words what I loved most about this story. The storyline for me was completely unexpected..It did not go the way I thought it would. Miss Garland never gave in on the good guy maybe being in the wrong, and Skye being put right in the middle of everything and standing by what was right even when her heart was telling her not to. That’s still not explaining it the way it should be explained so you will have to read the book to understand.
I wasn’t crazy about Skye in earlier books but I always had a feeling there was more to her and I was right. Her story was so sad and her not wanting to burden her family with it about broke my heart. There were scenes in this book that I felt deep, some made me cry and others just took my breath away. I think I felt every emotion that was written or implied in this story and then some that weren’t so I was a mess throughout most of it.
I can’t recommend this story enough, but do not just read this book, truly and honestly to get the full effect of this family and these people you have to read them all in order.
Loved loved loved it and can not wait to read the next which is already open on my kindle.

And so we have the final book in the trilogy of the prequel series to The Brothers of Camelot series and what a final book it is! I have loved this trilogy – I’ve never read a prequel trilogy before and I thought it was such a fantastic idea by the author. Not only do I feel like I know the characters inside out but I am totally ready to carry on with the next part! I love this author’s writing style; she has totally captured my attention with her beautiful writing. Her characters are well thought out and progress so well over the story – especially Aless, I feel like I have grown up with her from the very beginning. I have seen her progress from a child to an almost warrior princess! She is a fantastic character and I love her! The story is full of action and turn the pages fast enough! I highly recommend this book and the series needs to be read in order!! I am looking forward to more to come from this author again in the future.

The First Backwards Christmas written by Brooke Williams. This story is a short quick read, and is about giving a town hope at a second chance. The storyline was a bit odd with the handstands but the rest of it was cute. Jack and Joy make a cute couple who are willing to try anything to save the town they love. Even if it means having a backwards Christmas.

I loved this book! I love how this author has the ability to pull me into the story with ease and hold my attention until the end. The twists and turns left me sitting on the edge of my seat just waiting to see what will happen next. The characters are creative and made me feel part of the story. Shoot Me: A Lie To Me Novel By Lynda Filler This is the second book in the Lie to me series and it is my suggestion that you read the first one because this one picks up right where the first one leaves off. Layla is heading to Guadalajara for a change of scenery after Mateo left her with nothing but a letter, and to continue with her her writing. Not to worry though, Layla meets some new hot men that you will want to read more about. The author did a wonderful job pulling me in from the beginning with her very descriptive and detailed words. I read the first book in this series and truly enjoyed it and I’m glad that this one had the same level of energy and passion. I loved reading this emotionally charged story, with its twists, danger, steamy moments, and heart tugging at times. I was glad to see some returning characters and meet the new ones in this book. There are wonderful characters in this story that you won’t want to miss. I highly recommend this book it was a great read.

OMG! This book was a riot! From the moment I read the blurb and laughed out loud to the very last page this was hilarious and a great escape. I have not had the the pleasure of reading anything from Jen Luerssen before picking up F*cking Frank but I have to tell you I will be stalking, er I mean following faithfully lol, her from now on! I hate to seem a bit too repetitive but if you happen to not read the little blurbs before you read the reviews or not at all I just have to include it in the review. This was what sold me on this book, and I loved it! ************************************************************************************************************* I’m F*cking Frank (yeah there’s an asterisk, worked for that kids book, didn’t it?) and this book is about me and Mikey. You’d probably rather be in Mikey’s head since she’s not as much of an asshole, but unfortunately, the author finds me more interesting. Mikey and I were literally separated at birth, and when we get back together, it’s pretty great. She could do way better, but who am I to set her standards? I make music, she makes wine. Together we mostly argue and f*ck (jeez, even here an asterisk?), so you know, we’re perfect for each other. At least I think we are, she wants to keep it casual and like a jerk I fell in love.
She and I f*ck a lot, hopefully it’s enough for you pervs. I mean, Myself? I like a good paranormal with maybe two or three powerful demigods or shifters going at it, but you do you.
Where was I? Yeah, so buy this book if you like my abs and that vee thing Mikey swoons over. You could get the ebook version or you could buy the paperback and show my abs off like nature intended.
“Hey Carol, what are you reading?” I ask.
“Um, War and Peace,” you say and I know you are lying your face off, Carol. You like romance, own that shit!
So go ahead, buy this book, read it in three hours, and move on to the next one that will be undervalued by snobs with no joy in their life.

He is one blunt and sarcastic man, and I loved the way he caught me off guard even when I thought that I had gotten used to him as a character. This book is also really interactive and directly refers to the you the reader often, which was a fun and new twist, one I have rarely seen in novels. I loved the steam level and the underlying lesson that came from the romance part. Overall this book was the perfect rom-com, mostly steamy comedy to spend the afternoon laughing with. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next one in the series, and other books by Hen Luerssen! Thanks for a great read and lots of laughs!

Truly Unfortunate (Welcome to Knollville Series) by C.A King 5 Stars
Ms. King is an excellent author who truly has a wild imagination. I have read several of her books and each one is completely unique. This is another well written original storyline. It is a twisted tale that blurs the lines of reality. It is the first book in the Knollville series and I think it’s off to a great start. It is a paranormal story with a dark fantasy flavour to it.
Truly is a woman whose childhood is a complete blank to her. She has no memories at all. She has been to several doctors who all say the same thing, that she has blocked traumatic experiences. The only luck she seems to have is bad and as memories slowly start resurfacing, death seems to be following her. Jeff is a detective whose current cases all seem to point to Truly. To uncover the truth, he needs to open his mind and think outside the box.
This story has many twists and turns that it’s addictive. It is definitely not black and white, there are many shades of grey. You will not be able to put it down. I highly recommend that you read it. This has to be my favourite book from this author.

Mouse Trapped Satan’s Devils MC Book 9 By Manda Mellett ☆☆☆☆☆
This is a full length novel containing a little bit of suspense, a love story and a whole lot of trouble. I would love to give it more than 5 stars, that is how good it is. The 9th book in this series continues with the lives of the Satan’s Devils. This book features Mouse and how he works around being different. How he saves Mariana from more than just the bear and monsters. How he finds himself and who his real friends are.
Manda Mellett has done it again. This book is fast paced and easy to follow. Her characters are strong and never back down. I have to tell you. I have loved everyone of her characters, as well as their stories. Everyone carries different traits, that shows their strength. They are always there when needed. Love, Love, Love this series! Way to go Manda Mellett!
Distant Memory (Solum series Book 3) by Colleen S. Myers was a emotionally raw, race against the time, science fiction thriller, that had me on the edge of my seat.
The third book in the Solum Series, it picks up right were the last leaves off. A little warning, this is a connecting series and the timeline is continuous. Each book pretty much picks up were the last leaves off, so I highly suggest starting from book one. If not,you’re going to be confused that and, there is a lot of background and other plot points that will not make sense if you skip. Plus as always, you run the risk of spoilers.
I don’t want to give anything away at the risk of somehow spoiling this amazing read. Just know that this book is on par with the others but, has the added affect of, a little bit of aftermath from the last book, and the race against time element. This book has a lot of raw emotions and it pushes our MC to her limits. I have to say I was a little worried towards the end. There is a split second where you’re sitting there like… no the author didn’t. Gaw, my heart can’t take it when they pull stuff like that.
As for the ending, it was closed out, but not. As in, I’m sure there is more to come, because there are still so many unanswered questions and some uncertain faiths of other beloved characters.
Overall this book, as I said, is on par with the others. For me it lack some of that steller detail that made the first two books shine, but I can see why some of that was left out. When you’re on the clock, stopping and smelling the carnivorous plants isn’t a option. With that said I hope you take my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval, that this series, this book, is a must read, and you will not be able to put it down.

I absolutely love Desiree Lafawn’s writing, there is something magical about it … it pulls you in and doesn’t let you go … she makes the characters so real that you feel as if you are experiencing their lives along with them! I recommend to start with the first book and then continue with the next ones as you will meet some of the characters in previous books and knowing their stories you will get so much more out of the story you are reading! Angela McPherson’s Hope’s Decree is the first book of The Fated. This paranormal/fantasy romance was vivid in the details, from the character descriptions to the events that transpired within the novel. The story line was executed perfectly. I was pulled into the book within the first chapter. Noting that Trinity is still in high school, the author pulled those type of relationships and dynamics into the story and the interactions between characters. The story was well paced. As new characters are introduced in the story, you get a foreboding of something more to come. I like the suspense that is there making me anticipate what could come next around the corner. Angela McPherson is a fantastic author and I am enjoying this paranormal twist in this latest series.

Shoot Me: A Lie To Me Novel by Lynda Filler 4 out of 5 stars
This second installment in the Lie to Me Series is just as hot and fast as the first. This book is a continuation of the first one, so the first book is a must read. Layla is in Mexico, trying to drown the loss of Mateo leaving her in wine, coffee and pot, but nothing seems to want to drown him out. What is that old saying? The fastest way to get over one man is to get under another one? Layla does just that, she catches the eye of a very young (in his early 20’s to her 40’s) photographer, and then another young man finds his way into her path…and then another…and then an old friend shows back up who is looking pretty good as well.
The series of events the lead to Layla healing what is left of her heart, the friendships she forges, and the people she loves and who love her back makes for one very fantastic story. Once I met all of the young men in the book, I was pulling for one more than the other, but I won’t tell you why because it will give away some major details of the book, but I thing you will find yourself rooting for one over the other as well. I adore this book and series. This author is on my to be read list!

Isabella’s Painting is a magnificent mystery/thriller book by Ellen Butler. Butler has done her research when it comes to the underground black market of stolen items. This story gripped me from the very first paragraph until the last word. Butler has twists and turns that made me turn the page quickly and then there were ones that I was hesitant to turn. Butler has fully developed characters that I felt like I could be there in the story with them. This story is about Karina and what she sees and hears by accident. There was a heist of paintings from the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Karina believes she has seen one and overhears about the painting as well. She is not sure who she can trust. Will Karina get help with what she saw or will she turn the other way? Does she understand what she has gotten herself into?

Nathaniel, Dragon Hearts #1, by Carole Mortimer is a fantasy romance featuring dragon shifters. One inquisitive woman versus a determined man to keep his distance and her away, what could possibly happen? The author quickly sets the stage for this story, along with a colorful cast of characters. I liked Nathaniel’s personality in this story was breathtaking. He may be standoffish at parts, but in the entire scheme of things – he was quite magnetic. Chloe was absolutely the best to set against this alpha male. She is persistent and holds her own. Add them together in this creative story line and it was a worthwhile read that I thoroughly enjoyed!
The Changeup (A Resort Romance Novel Book 6) By Mary Billiter. While this is book 6 it can definitely be read as a standalone without any questions or confusion, but do yourself a favor and read the others because they are great also. I loved this story and how the author makes each one unique, this one had suspense which I love in stories. I love a book that has me trying to figure everything out. This story is in both main characters point of view and I’m a fan of that because it makes for a well rounded storyline. The characters are easy to connect with even when I wanted to smack them a bit. It’s well written and paced nicely although a bit rushed in the ending but still a great read. I’m giving this book a four star review and recommend it to everyone. Excited to see where the author takes readers next.

Degrees of Control (A Prestian Series Book 3) Via Mari 5 out of 5 stars
Degrees of Control is the third installment of Via Mari’s Prestian Series and all I can really say is wow. So many series start to fizzle out by the third book but somehow this one is still hot! I would recommend starting the series from the very beginning if you haven’t already because each story builds upon the last, picking up where the others left off. Not to mention, you wouldn’t want to miss a single plot twist. I would have to say Degrees of Control is my favorite installment of the series thus far. Intrigue, edge of your seat suspense and even a few tears shed all while keeping up with the steamy factor of the last two books. Once again Chase and Katarina prove to be enjoyable characters with obstacles to overcome within and outside of their relationship and to say I’m invested is an understatement. Once again Via Mari hit it out of the park and left me craving more.

Isabella’s Painting: A Notorious Art Heist Mystery by Ellen Butler is the first book in the Karina Cardinal Mystery series. This is one well written mystery that has humor, DC political scene, romance, and mystery. I was first intrigued as an art history student because the Gardner Heist still has so many unanswered questions. Ms. Butler did a great job of a “what if” scenario that is well thought out and logical. I loved the main character Karina Cardinal and how she went about trying to weave her way through the twists and turns. I also appreciated that the mystery was interesting and had lots of different characters to wonder about their intentions. I will be definitely looking for more from this author in the future and look forward to more of the Karina Cardinal series.
Degrees of Control by Via Mari is the third book in The Prestian series. This series must be read in order as it is a continuation that follows the same characters. This is a strong series that really takes you in a ride. We are once again taken back into the lives of Kat and Chase. Lives that are as tumultuous as ever. Each book successfully develops the characters and the story more, making sure you can’t get bored of reading about these two. This was as well written and fast paced as the previous two books. I am looking forward to the next.
