Snatching Dianna by Seelie Kay was an interesting and intriguing. I have to say that I was impressed with the story line and the way that the author wrote it. I loved the suspense and thrill that followed the story and fell in love with the characters and their passion for finding out the truth. This was a definite 4 Star for me, and I’m looking forward to reading more by this author.
A Tangy Christmas Kiss was a good 4 star read and book two in the Christmas Kiss series.
Mel is getting ready for Christmas with her family, when she’s asked to please go to her aunt’s home in Spain. Her mom was supposed to go but is unable to make it.
The travel to Spain seemed to take quite a while. On her way she meets a Spanish gentleman that she has language barrier issues with. Wanting to help Mel, he escorts her to her aunt’s home. This is where Mel realizes that what she was imagining about her aunt’s home was incorrect. She has animals that need caring for along with chores.
Mel also meets her aunt’s neighbor. Who is more than happy to assist her as well. This is where things get interesting with Mel and the two hotties, Domingo and Lucas. Which one of these two will she fall for?
There are twist and turns with a few LOL moments. I loved all of the characters in the story. Allyson Abbott does a great job with her writing and pulls you right in. Overall I felt this was a good read. Once you start you will be done before you know it. I look forward to reading more from this series.

Venganza: The Fuentes Legacy written by Greta Cribbs. I read book one : Primogenito last year and I’ve been waiting for Venganza. This is about the Fuentes family, with all their secrets. There is a lot going on in this book but it makes it so great, and I don’t mean a lot in the way your thinking, the Fuentes family has done a lot, have a lot of secrets and it seems like they are all coming out. Venganza is Damian and Jenn’s love story with a twist it also tells more in depth about Damian’s kidnapping and torture. Will true love win over the darkness that is the Fuentes family when someone tries to leave it. The story will suck you from the moment you get past chapter one, the characters you have a love/ hate relationship with. They make the story unique so you love them for that but you have what they have done and who they are.

This a very, very dark story. If you are a sensitive reader, you probably want to skip this book. It is the story of Damian — of what happens to him at the hands of the elder men in his family. It is also the story of recovery. Damian experiences something very traumatic, both physically and mentally. He struggles a whole lot afterwards. But this doesn’t just affect him, it affect his friends and fiance. The characters are very real. The story put you right there. You can understand what each person is going thru.
While it in an intense read, it will help you understand Damian more if you have already read other books in the series.

This is a new author for me. I am so happy I took the time to read this book. Feelings were exposed, lies were turned to truths and life goes on. I love this fast paced story. I know you will as well. Way to go Julie C. Gardner!
Forgetting Ophelia by Julie C. Gardner is a standalone novel but can be tied to the Friendship and Secrets Series. This book grabbed my attention and didn’t let go until the end!
Lia is married to the best guy and now that it’s almost their five year anniversary, they can finally put their plan in motion. Lia was expecting a surprise but she got more than she bargained for. After she’s had some time to evaluate the situation, she realizes that she doesn’t know who Lia is anymore. Lia is tested a number of times throughout this book and she rises each time. She takes that strength and starts to search for herself again and what truly makes her happy.
Lia is a such a strong character. She has some weak moments just like the rest of us. She gets knocked down but she doesn’t stay down. Then, she takes some pretty big moves in order to pursue her true self. She is courageous. I wish I had her strength. I truly enjoyed reading this book and going along on Lia’s journey.

Sweet and romantic, this Christmas story took me as the reader to another country with different Christmas traditions. I thought it hilarious how the lemons were tied into breast cancer awareness at the start of the novel giving the main character Mel and Lucas an inside joke for the story. I was not sure how Domingo fit into the story at first, but later on the author reveals a surprise. This novel was such a wonderful and easy read. I could not put it down and can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

A Frothy Christmas Kiss is the fourth book in the Christmas Kiss series by Allyson R. Abbott. It is one of my favourites of the Christmas Kiss Series and it’s a lovely, sweet holiday romance- with wonderfully endearing characters, a charming story, a dose of miscommunication, a dash of drama, which results in a winning recipe for a delightful romance story. Ms. Abbott has such a wonderfully descriptive, well-rounded and inviting style to her writing. Her stories always draw me in and have me hanging on every word. Her books are so easy to read and always leave me with a feeling of satisfaction and warm-heartedness- and this story was no different.

It Ends Tonight by A.M Myers is the 4th story in the Bayou Devils MC series. The story starts when event planner Quinn Dawson is in a car accident and Lucas Smith watches it and comes her aid. Immediately they realize they have a connection, and they try to build a relationship even though the turmoil surrounding them threatens to make their lives rocky. I found this to be a quick, fun read with lots of ups and downs and twists I didn’t see coming! I definitely recommend adding A.M Myers to the read pile!!

Untrainable is another delightfully funny romantic comedy by Jamie Schlosser. It was such an incredibly fun story to read, full of laugh-out-loud moments, funny banter and antics, some touching and romantic scenes, emotional moments, and is a fairly light-hearted read. As soon as I started reading, I was pulled right into the story, easily connecting with the characters and investing in the outcome of their story. Ms. Schlosser has once again proved to be a masterful wordsmith- creating engaging stories that take us, the readers, on a journey of the heart and mind. She balances everything beautifully sprinkling lots of humour amongst the deeper, emotional parts of the storyline. Her characters are wonderful- beautifully developed and fully realised individuals, with their own quirks and flaws. They were entirely realistic, relatable, and believable. I very much enjoyed meeting Hadley and Theo and following along as their story unfolded. Well worth the read!

Forgetting Ophelia by Julie C. Gardner was a good book that I really enjoyed. I have never read anything by this author before but this certainly won’t be my last. This is the story about love, loss, friendship and a woman finding herself. I loved the writing and characters. I never saw certain things coming. It really was a great book. I literally have no criticism. Literally none. I would definitely recommend this book to my friends. 4 star rating.

As if I wasn’t already invested in this series after the first book, The Confectioner’s Coup has me hooked and looking forward to reading more. I have really come to love Claire Luana’s style of writing, each story has so much to offer really making you feel every emotion. Not only is the storyline exciting and packed with twists and turns that kept me engaged from start to finish but the character development is also just as great. I have enjoyed learning more about Wren as the series progresses and seeing just what kind of chaos will find her next. As with the first book, The Confectioner’s Coup left me wanting more and anxious to see what is to come. Honestly looking forward to reading book number three of this unique, entertaining series.

I felt like I was there in the scenes which was a wild ride at some points. This book had me on the edge of my seat throughout the whole story. I read the book in one sitting because I just had to know how it ended. I would recommend this book, but also caution that it might not be for all reader.

This romantic comedy had me reading this story as fast as I could. I simply loved the chemistry between the characters and the story development. The author doesn’t take herself or her characters too seriously. There is a light hearted and heart warming tone to the entire story. I really appreciated how the story developed and the characters developed as well. Just a fun read that I will gladly read over and over again.
I legit have a sick obsession with this series. EVERY book will wrap you into it’s web and not let go and OMG I never want it to let me go!
We meet Lucas and Quinn who know the meaning of loss and how that can effect one’s life. Both had to grow up but grew up differently but both did it fast. They were dealt hand in life that weren’t fair but they made the best of it. A chance encounter and both feel the instant connection that cannot be denied. The spark literally will zap you right off the page! As they navigate this connection and come to terms of their past, a dangerous presence makes itself known and puts their connection to the test.
I love absolutely everything about this series. This needs to be on everyone’s must read list!

Although the second book in the series, I jumped in without having read the first and didn’t feel like I was at a disadvantage. The storyline was fascinating. The characters were well developed. This series is truly the sweetest of the sweet. I know I have said it before, but it does bear repeating that Christmas romance stories make for some of the best romance novels ever. There is just something about all the warm and fuzzies you get that is all wrapped up with the holiday feels. Top that with a hot man and and beautiful woman and you have the perfect, cozy afternoon read. This book is that book. This series is that series. I have loved this series from book one and this author has given each book its own warm and fuzzies. This book was probably my most favorite of all of them, only because I love coffee as much as I love reading. Kat and Dan are some of my two most favorite characters to date. Their interactions are light and fun, even with the little mishap that seems to bring everything to a screeching halt.
Do yourself a favor. Read this book. Read this series.

A great read about coffee. Kat has loved coffee since she was little. When she leaves home for a new job, she is nervous at first. Whilst finding her feet in a new town, Kat discovers an antique coffee shop full of new blends and flavours that consume her heart. Her love for the shop increases with Dan, an owner who is handsome and kind. The coffee sparks something romantic between them But when she overhears a private conversation, should she risk her heart? A great read. Well developed plot with twists and turns that I just couldnt put down. Well developed characters like Dan making his passion into his business or Kat standing up for herself but kind underneath. great cast of supporting characters like her Dad as a sweet father figure of Spencer as a good friend. i loved the visual detail of the coffee shop as something traditional and homely with the fireplace and cat. also with the sofas as a comforting space to Kat and the reader. ci also loved the sense of a small community within the shop with everyone knowing eachother and the regulars as good friends was a lovely touch. the passion for coffee with Kat was a lovely touch for a sense of exploration and wonder that was enjoyable to read . And the detail including the smells and tastes of flavours that even captivated the reader was perfectly written. I also loved the mystery with Brian that added comedy to the novel to make it a captivating read. Overall, a great read and I would give it five stars.

Claire Luana Confectioner Chronicles final book has me still thinking back to the first book. The Confectioner’s Truth exceeded my own imagination of how the story will end. Now if you have not guessed yet this is a series that you will want to read all the books in order. There are magic, secrets, skeletons in closet that show themselves, and danger around every corner. Wren is my book sister if I could choose to have a sibling. She is fierce and I enjoyed her character very much. You do go for a ride and it is a bumpy ride at that. So I advise to sit down, grab your favorite beverage, your comfortable blanket and read the The Confectioner’s Truth.

This is the 4th book in the “Bayou Devils MC” series, but it can absolutely be read as a stand-alone. While there are references to previous characters, it is not so major that you feel left out – it’s more a mention in passing.
As with the other books in the series IT ENDS TONIGHT is a character study of how people react in different situations. This one has a few different threads that the reader is able to follow as the story unfolds. Honestly, I forgot I was reading an MC Club book at the very beginning as it starts off with such a great meet cute.
The story line evolves quickly and it kept me interested from beginning to end. It allowed me to escape from “adulting” ‘for a little while and tune into other situations which had nothing to do with me. It was a much needed respite in the day.
This is a quick book, I read it in one sitting on a day when I didn’t have much focus. I did skim a bit as the author is super descriptive and I have added it to my “to be read again” because I suspect it may be a 5 star read for me when I am in a different place in life.
I always recommend this author and all the stories.

I was so excited to start this book after loving the first book in the series and it was everything I wanted it to be and more. I have been so lucky to read a few books by this author now and each one has been an incredible read. Ms Luana really does have a talent for creating such unique storylines and characters – her attention to detail is excellent. I always feel like I am part of her stories and because of that attention to detail I can easily imagine what I am reading. This book definitely should be read after the first as it builds on the plot from the first story and the author adds another amazing layer to it! There were twists and turns everywhere and I honestly couldn’t turn the pages fast enough to try and find out what was going to happen next! I can’t wait to find out what happens next in the third book!!
It Ends Tonight by A.M. Myers is the fourth book in her Bayou Devils MC Series and I can’t seem to get enough of this one! This story really hooked me from the beginning and didn’t let go until well after the last page was read. Following the story of Lucas Smith and Quinn Dawson, it is a mile a minute. Lucas is a member of the Bayou Devils MC, and they are all like family to him. When Lucas’s family, his blood family, come calling for help the guilt that he carries for them will test the will of his bond of loyalty to them. Will he be able to protect his brother as well as his loyalty to the brothers he rides with? Quinn is a woman to be reckoned with, strong beautiful and independent she isn’t ready for the depth of feelings fro Lucas until the bond between them comes under fire. The closer that they become the more that they realize they can’t think of a reason to stay away from each other. The pasts and secrets between these two may have created a rift at first they have grown so much closer with their romance blooming. As Quinn loses pieces of her heart to Lucas, Lucas will have to find a way to open his heart to Quinn. He knows that he can’t stay away from her but is she ready for the hard life of a Bayou Devils brother? When secrets come to light will they be able to work through it together or will this be the straw that breaks the camels back? Myers is an old favorite of mine. Having read all of the Bayou Devils series prior to this book I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this installment fast enough. This is a book that can be read as a standalone just fine, but the rest of the series is so great and intertwining that you really need to read the whole thing to get the best experience. If you are looking for a steamy series that will keep you up at night and romance that will warm your heart than this is the series for you. I can’t wait to see what comes Myers next! The sooner the better!
This is the first book that I have read by this author and I have to ask myself how have I not read anything by her before? This was a really great read and although I haven’t read any of the series previously this book was easily read as a standalone. The authors’ writing was exciting and pulled me in straight away. I loved all the different twists and turns and I was on the edge of my seat trying to guess what was going to happen on more than one occasion. I liked the characters Helena and Thomas, they both had a past that was quite horrific but when they meet each other you could just feel the connection that they had. This is quite a dark read I will admit but I still really enjoyed it. I am definitely going to be looking to read more from this author again in the future and I highly recommend this book especially if you enjoy a little darkness to your reads!

Book 4 in this series and I honestly cannot get enough of it! This is by far one of the best series that I have read in a very long time. The author has been able to easily hold my attention over the four books – I didn’t want this book to end as I was not looking forward to the book hangover that I knew was inevitable! The author’s writing is exciting, she pulls you in from the very first word and I just love the characters that she has created! I love Kate and Chase – I can’t help but desperately want them to find their happily ever after! They have such an intense chemistry that felt natural and the author wrote these scenes between them really well. I am gutted that this series is over, it’s been an absolute pleasure to read and I will definitely be looking to read more from this author again in the future. I have to admit that it was nice to get to read Damian’s story and the prequel to Premogenito. I like how the author is able to spin the tale and bring the characters to life. This book definitely didn’t disappoint.
I found that the drama in the book added so much. To see how Damian and Jenn got together and how Damian’s grandfathers acts shape his life and future. I found the book really grabbed me and kept me at the edge of my seat. To see how the legacy affects the family and how Damian’s father’s actions in trying to leave the family had put all the wheels in motion. I most certainly will be reading more from this author in the future.

Untrainable written by Jamie Schlosser. This story is a mix of comedy and romance when They gets caught peeing on a hydrant by the paparazzi he earns himself a nice nickname and decided he needs a break from all the hype. But will she see him as worth the risk… Jamie Schlosser has a very creative and unique writing style that make you connect with the characters right from the beginning. This story will pull you in and make you want to read more because it’s such a light and easy read.

I enjoyed the story so much that it finished before I was ready and I didn’t even notice because I was so enthralled to find out what was going to happen next. Wren was falsely accused of murder and barely survived, now she is having to face enemies, both old and new as she tries to solve the mystery behind disappearing Guild members. There are some twists and turns that sneak up on you but once again it is a book that should be on everyone’s to read list.
I have to say that another trip into this Fatal Dreams series has once again been such a great read. I really like the author’s world she has created and how the couples come together. I found the style to be quite unique and it really grabs the reader from page one. I just couldn’t put this book down.
The chemistry between Helen and Thomas is quite unique. I like how Helen’s past adds to the drama that brings these two together. The way that Helen is like the completing half of the whole for Thomas just really adds to the book. I was on the edge of my seat as the drama unfolded in this book. To see the drama unfold and to see that Helen got her happy ever after was just the cherry on top of the cake for me. I will definitely be reading more from this author and I hope this series!

Untrainable by Jamie Schlosser is a sweet and unique rom com story that will melt your heart. The characters are plenty loveable and their witty banter had me laughing out loud and the chemistry is just sizzling. This is the second book I have read from Jamie and I like her writing style which is easy to read and simplistic. She writes the perfect blend of humour and emotion and weaves it so beautifully and easily. There is more to Theo, than what the press portray. His hard and emotional past has left its mark and he is down on his luck. All he needs is a second chance and hopefully what he has planned will get him there. Hadley is being offered a chance of a lifetime but why her? Will she accept the offer and end up with much more than she bargained for? This book has a delight and I am looking forward to reading more from her.
Forgetting Ophelia: A Novel by Julie C. Gardner is an interesting story about a woman who is finding herself after her life is turned upside down. Trouble is, I am not entirely sure she knew what that looked like. It is a story about secrets and denial, loss and new beginnings and finding yourself. The story started out slow but gained momentum quickly. It was also an emotional read and I felt all of Lia’s pain and suffering, betrayal and loss, yes I needed tissues. As much as the story annoyed me at times it kept me engrossed and I had to know how it turned out. Lia and Jake had the perfect life, according to their plan, but was that plan what they both wanted? But secrets changed everything. Was it really ever the perfect life? Starting over was not in the plan. Rediscovering yourself is never easy. Taking stock of your life is daunting. Taking a good look at yourself is hard. Jake, well what can I say, he is an idiot, he chose a path that he regretted and I wanted to shake him up.
