This story is well written and the characters are true to life. My favorite thing about this story is how the characters made me feel part of the story. I could easily find myself being friends with them and I could feel their struggles. This is a story about Alice and Griffin. One a hot insecure actor who needs some romance in his life and the other a movie extra trying to heal while making ends meet. Will they find the happy ending they deserve? I highly recommend reading this book.

This is five complete stories that can be read as a stand alone but they are linked to each other together in some way. This is my favorite series by this author yet! Each book contains a separate couple and the best thing I love is how we get to see them throughout the whole series. They each have their own struggles and the chemistry with them are great. I loved all the characters as they made me feel I was part of the story. This is a must read, you won’t regret picking it up.

This is the fifth book in this series and the best yet. This is a funny, creative and engaging story that I had a hard time putting down. I loved the characters, Liv and Jason. They both have the same problem, bad choices in relationships. Just when they find the perfect relationship there is a couple of problems. One, they are friends, are they willing to cross that line? Two, Liv already has a boyfriend. Who will she chose? I highly recommend reading this fun romance story.

What would you do when you thought everything was perfect till it world turned upside down? Lia was a strong madly in love woman blinded by the secrets and lies of someone she thought she knew. It’s a powerful story for women of all ages I feel, that have had their lives flipped by the one person they loved and trusted. It shows heartache struggle and pain, but it shows that you can get through it and get back on track and do better. You root for Lia as she struggles through all the pain to make it to where emotionally she needs to be. I need to read the first one and I would love to read more.
The Way You Are by Sylvie Stewart is the fifth book in the Carolina Connections series. This is a great series and can be read individually. The characters recur and it is great to see the progression of them. This tells the story of Brett. He is good with the ladies if being in the friend zone is considered good. Liv is a baseball fan and a smart woman who is a vet. Can Brett get and stay out of the friend zone? He is so cute when he is interacting with Liv. I have enjoyed this entire series because the characters have their own personal issues and stories to tell. No one is depicted as perfect and no relationship is perfect. Everyone has their ups and downs. The characters are well written and the dialogue is great. The stories alternate between POV which is great giving insight to both primary characters. I look forward to reading books in this series and hope you enjoy it also.

The Way You Are by Sylvie Stewart a five-star read. This is the fifth book in the Carolina Connections series, I have read the series in order and loved it, this one just made me giggle so much harder though. I kept promising myself just one more chapter when I finished and was so tired, I desperately needed to sleep, but then I would read the chapter titles and be like how can I put this down they intrigued me. Brett was so sweet, and just goes to show that a true gent is and how far they can go. Liv will make you smile and pull your hair out, then be smiling again. A great story overall, I cant tell you to get this story quick enough.

The Only Series by Bree Kraemer five fulfilling five-star reads. What a great series, I have loved this boxed set, I am a huge fan of the author so when I saw this on sale, I had to buy it. I hadn’t started the series as I hate having to wait for the next read in the series, so this was great as even though each story is a stand-alone, they do complement each other, as each story only by his touch, only with trust, if only, only you (my personal fave) and only for love. Some of the main characters are friends and this just makes them more like people you know, Sophie was someone who I just resonated with so much, she really did earn a spot in my heart for some reason. I honestly didn’t think that Bree Kraemer could write anything better that the Cedarville series, but she may have just done it with this one.

Awakening of a Soul Keeper- Prequel to the Soul Keeper Series By Brienne Dubh Rated 5 stars!
Wow! What a great beginning to a new series! I was drawn in by the lure of a sweet vampire story. Then the characters became alive and i could hardly put this down. The story is unlike any other I have read. All because of Sam. He is the husband to the Soul Keeper. Every twist and turn I wanted to see what would happen to Sam or Theodora or even Lyzander next. I read this fairly quickly and I can not wait for the next one to come out!
This is a first time author for me. It was beautifully written and full of intrigue. Just enough Info given to keep me on the edge…begging for more. The story was different (meaning who ever heard of a third wheel on a vampires mate??) but well done. The characters were sassy, bossy and strong. I loved it all! So so glad I picked up this book on a whim!

Venganza: The Fuentes Legacy by Greta Cribbs is definitely an interesting story. One that I am not sure how I feel about it. On one hand it is a quick and compelling read, but on the other hand I was sickened by the heart wrenching turn of events but it is like watching a train wreck, you cannot stop looking. It is a very, very, emotional read and I felt all of the pain and suffering, betrayal and loss that the main character felt. Greta is good at writing very detailed scenes that you can visualise so easily and sometimes get lost in that detail. There is a lot of very, very, dark and graphic scenes to this story that many may be uncomfortable with. The Fuentes Legacy is nothing to be proud of and the dark secrets and lies they keep are atrocious and I found myself wanting to do some serious harm to them. There is lots of drama and suspense, horror and pain, guilt and suffering in this dark tale will go straight to your heart and emotions. So if you like dark and twisted stories then this is story that you will like.

The Way You Are (Carolina Connections Book 5) By: Sylvie Stewart 5 out of 5 stars
The story The Way You Are (Carolina Connections Book 5) by Sylvie Stewart is a wonderful romance book that I loved reading. I have loved this series ever since reading the first book and am excited when a new story in the series comes out. In this book, I enjoyed reading about the characters of Liv and Brett. Liv is a woman who is smart and beautiful. She can also be fiery when she speaks. A friend is what she calls Brett. She then begins to realize she has a crush on him. Brett is used to the friend zone. However, being friends with Liv is sometimes a problem with the thoughts and feelings that he has for her. Oh, and the other problem is Liv’s current boyfriend. Will Brett be able to get Liv to take him out of the friend-zone? What does the future hold for Brett and Liv? Read this story to find out. Brett and Liv are characters that I grew to love with each chapter of the book I read. I found that I was rooting for them to find happiness. The characters show many different emotions throughout the story and I found myself feeling what they did. I also enjoyed reading about some of the additional characters that interact with Brett and Liv. This is a book that I found I didn’t want to put down until I had read the final page. Don’t miss out on the next exciting story in the Carolina Connections series.

The story Rising Star by Susannah Nix is a wonderful romance book that I loved reading. It not only has a wonderful storyline it also has two main characters that I grew to love with each chapter that I read. Alice Carlisle is a woman that is caring and intelligent. She is also about to lose the job that is paying her bills and having to find a new place to live, immediately. She has a wonderful personality and a good heart. She does have trust issues and at times believes herself to be broken. She finds herself saying yes when Griffin Beach asks her to dog sit for him after the dog sitter he hired bails on him. It is the answer to her current problems. Griffin Beach is trying to break out of TV and onto the big screen. He is not one that has had success with relationships in the past because he always puts his work first. These two both are attracted to each other. They both feel the pull between them. They both have feelings/emotions for each other. Will a relationship between them work? Will they get an HEA? Read this story to find out. Alice and Griffin are two characters that I found myself rooting for and wanted them to find happiness. I enjoyed reading about the bantering that went back and forth between them. The story is written in such a way that I felt the emotions of the characters and mine went up and down when theirs did. I also enjoyed reading about some of the additional characters that are introduced. I liked reading about the part that they play in the book and also their interactions with Alice and Griffin. Don’t miss out on an absolutely wonderful romance story that you won’t want to put down until you have finished the final page.

Eastern Shore Swingers Series (3 book Boxed Set) by Phoebe Alexander is an amazing trio of books that continuously and effortlessly entertained me, left me breathless and craving for more. A good author always provides you with stories that hold you frantically captivated, but an outstanding one has you anticipating the next one before you have finished the current one. Phoebe Alexander gives a reader that and more. You can always tell when an author’s heart and soul lives in each story.
Book one, Fisher of Men, is the story of Leah and Chris “Cap” Sheldon. While Leah was a pleasure to get to know, Cap was like savouring a piece of Belgian chocolate. Quality at its finest. Their story was emotional and a wonderful journey of discovery, with many bumps along the way.
Book two, The Catch, is the story of Paisley and Calvin. That was a spicy story that kept the tension at an all time high, with a reader never really knowing which way the pendulum would swing. It was riveting, edge of your seat reading, and the story was written just to keep the reader desperate for more.
Book three, Siren Call, is the story of Jessie and Sirena. I really got into this story. Having not read many female/female stories, I was not fully aware of what to expect. Jessie has a job to do, but cannot help being drawn to Sirena. Sirena was a hard character to crack. But that just made her more intriguing and delectable. There story was exciting, filled with arousing tension, and overflowing with substance and heart.
The Eastern Shore Swingers series was one I enjoyed beautifully, but too quickly. This series is a more than once read, and one to be savoured. 5 stars.
Two words people use to describe me. What does that mean? I impulsively jump into hobbies and get…obsessed. Rock climbing. Bungee jumping. You name it. Why? Because I need to keep the glass full. There’s no time for romance or sticky relationships. It’s just not who I am. -Perrin Michaels
Bitter and Broken.
Two words everyone uses to describe me. What does that mean? I’m fucking broken and bitter over it… Leave me alone. War vet. Life failure. You name it. Why? Because I don’t fit in here anymore. I don’t want to care about someone else when I’m stuck. It’s just not who I am. -Emiliano Espocito
Can two people really heal each other, or does it only work one way?

“They say nice guys always finish last. I say the only place that should apply is in the bedroom—it’s just good manners, after all.” – Brett MacKinnon, nice guy and frequent resident of the friend zone
LIV: There are really only three things I need in life: sex, baseball, and winning. My hot boyfriend and season tickets take care of the first two, while I always do my best to cover the last. So developing an unexpected crush on a new friend is more than a little inconvenient. I don’t have anything but friendship to offer Brett, but with the way he looks at me, he has me wishing I did.
BRETT: I’ve been put in the friend zone so often, they’ve got a sandwich named after me. You’d think I’d be used to it by now. But when it comes to the delectable Liv, I’m determined to ditch the friend zone and show her I’m boyfriend material. Too bad the position’s already been filled by a ball-playing caveman who could flatten me with his pinky.
What will it take to show Liv that nice guys can be more than just friends, and that love is the one game truly worth winning?

5 Star It Ends Tonight (Bayou Devils MC Book4) By A.M.Myers is the fourth book in the Bayou Devils MC Series. This is one of my favorite series that I have read in a while. I highly suggest reading the first three books in this series as well. I was hooked from the beginning and had a hard time putting it down. This story is about Lucas and Quinn.Lucas is in the Bayou Devils MC club and they are like family to him.Lucas is a very caring person and he believes he can protect the bond him and his brother has. Then there is Quinn she’s a independent woman who is quite beautiful. These two are brought together and the attraction is strong. Lucas is very determined to watch out for her. Both have a past and secrets but neither one has had feelings like this before. There is times I was on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what happens next. Can these two have a HEA? I highly recommend reading this Book. I look forward to reading more from this Author.

Myers – Review by Dawn Daughenbaugh
I am absolutely in love with this book! It Ends Tonight is the fourth book in the Bayou Devils MC Series by A.M. Myers. This story is an emotional rollercoaster waiting to happen! The characters are phenomenal! This book follows Quinn Dawson who is an Event Planner and Lucas “Smith” Julette. They meet by happenstance and there was a strong connection immediately. However, there are further circumstances that bring circles to a close later on in the book. Quinn has a rough past and coincidentally, Smith has a similar one. Those pasts bring the two closer together. I love these characters and how they connect and work together. They bring the best out of each other and ultimately help each other heal. There are so many twists and turns to this book that you forget that it’s a love story and the lack of sexy scenes. There aren’t very many of those scenes but like I said…you don’t need them. This book is amazing in its own right! This series keeps getting better and better. There is an emotional pull every time you read each book that it just sucks you in and the next thing you know you are finished with the book and want to read the next one. You can read these as a standalone but like I always recommend, you should read them in order because there are continuing and/or underlying stories for the MC. A.M. Myers is becoming one of my absolute favorite writers! I can’t wait for the next in the series!
I went into this book blind, as ive read others by this author and love the writing style. This did not disappoint. Theo is a man who has deep emotions kept hidden by his not so subtle public displays of….well ill let you read that on your own lol. But he has an idea for a show that has the help of Hadley, a dog trainer who will be perfect to train Theo to be good in public again and fix his image. Hadley, while she feels she’s not funny, is hilarious. And the situations they fond themselves in had me belly laughing. I highly recommend this book for not just the laughs and also the emotional parts, but because the story was one of a kind! Cant wait to read more!
Though the topic of this book can be viewed as sad, our heroine Lia, is one character you don’t want to miss out on. When her life implodes, she is forced to pick up the pieces and find a way to live her life again. I find this story to be inspiring. Lia gives hope to the hopeless about moving on when your life has fundamentally changed forever. Lia is a flawed woman who actually bothers to reflect on her life and choices and see where she made mistakes to learn from them, which I think takes a strength that few can match. This story, while not the happiest, still made me hopeful that some woman out there in the world will read this book and find hope in her heart when she didn’t have it. Julie C. Gardner truly wove a wonderful story and something about the way she wrote it made me love it. Bits are told in flashback sometimes while Lia is lost in her head and I thought it was beautifully told. While the ending felt very abrupt to me, it also follows the same theme of the book, that there is hope. Please read this book if you have ever felt lost or just want to read a heartfelt story. So, I give “Forgetting Ophelia” five stars!
Forgetting Ophelia is the 2nd book in the Friendships and Secrets series by Julie C. Gardner. Each book in the series is a stand-alone. This was my first time reading any of this author’s work and I was pleasantly surprised by this book. The book begins on Ophelia’s (Lia) birthday and 5th wedding anniversary. What was expected to be a night of celebrating turned into a nightmare for Lia as her beloved husband Jake announced that he was leaving her. The rest of the book takes us on Lia’s journey as she comes to terms with the end of her relationship and tries to find herself. I have to say that I really loved Lia’s character. The reader really gets into Lia’s head and you can’t help but feel the heartache and pain along with her. Not only the end of her marriage but also the relationship (or non-relationship) she has with her mother Regina. So many times I really wanted to give that woman a slap. It must be said that this is one thing that I love about an author, their ability to make me really hate a character. As Lia starts to find herself we are introduced to a couple of possible future love interests for her in Declan, the father of one her students, and Caleb, her mother’s next door neighbour. I love that the ending was quite open ended but gave you a good insight as to what the future held for Lia.

Things just keep getting worse for Wren and her friends. There is an army on their city’s doorstep. Now things are happening within the Guild. Guild members are disappearing. But who is behind it? Is it the from the army threatening to attack? Or is it their own king? What can they do to resolve all this madness? At what cost?
I love this series, I have from the first book I read. I did not think it could get any better. But this book proved me wrong. It’s absolutely incredible. This book is darker than the rest as more is happening. The story pulls you in right away. There is so much happening. The characters are changing, they are growing up quickly to keep up with what is happening. They also know what they believe in — helping those they care about. This is such an intense book and you will be unable to put it down until you reach the end. Then you will quickly reach for the next book.

Beachcomber Gone: Beachcomber Investigations Book 9: a Romantic Detective Series
By Stephanie Queen
5 Stars
I was so happy to jump back into Dane & Shana’s story…I have read them all so far apart and can not wait to read them all back to back someday when the series ends…Although I don’t think I ever want this series to end. I will miss them all so much! I seriously do not recommend reading these out of order…The progression of these two awesome characters needs to be read in full and in order so that you get the full picture.
On a trip to Australia to meet Shana’s family which should have been a wonderful relaxing time turns to anything but relaxing by the time it is over. You just know something is going to turn bad when Dane gets a call while on the plane heading to Australia from his good friend Peter, the governor of Massachusetts who says…”Get off that plane before you land in Sydney”
It seems Shana’s past has other plans for the newly engaged couple and Shana’s Mom who is being used as bait.
This was just another amazing addition to this already amazing series. I love love love this author and can’t recommend her enough, this series in my opinion would make an awesome TV series and I can’t wait for the next one and am hoping that some of our favorite people from the past books get to come back into play.

It Ends Tonight is Book 4 in the Bayou Devils MC Series, from author A.M. Myers and my second book from this author, she continues to make these books better every time and she never disappoints with her incredible storylines and captivating characters. I cannot wait to see what other great stories I can read from this author, and what else she will bring to this series.
This book was amazing. It had everything you needed to make this an amazing read that I was unable to put down and had me hooked from the first page. The emotions that were in this read were powerful and intense, if i weren’t smiling or laughing, I was crying they were so strong I thought I was there in the book myself. The two characters Lucas & Quinn in this book were captivating to read and loved everything about them. They both are independent, strong and determined characters, that have a past that they try not to let affect their future, but through everything you can’t help but route for for them their journey and just hope after all the pain they have faced in their past that can they finally get a HEA, especially one that gives you a whole new outlook on life. I was on the edge of my seat wondering when something was going to happen, because you knew it was only a matter of time. It is packed full with suspense, love, romance and action. We have hot sexy scenes, romantic scenes, heart pounding moments. This book was filled with twists and turns, and things that you never expect to happen.
Another great thing with this book is that it was written in dual POV’s. I love reading it from the characters POV’s as we get to really see their thoughts and feeling from them rather than the other person. I also think it helps connect with a character as you get to understand some of their reasons of their actions!
This is an incredible read that I’m glad I got the chance to read. Each book in this series continues to capture me, and I throughly look forward to many more to come. Don’t miss this read!

This book surprised me in the best possible way. I was not sure I understood how the author was going to successfully combine romance with zombies and werewolves. But wow – did she ever!!! Havana is a fantastic character. I hope as the series continues we get a deeper look into her background. The author left the book wide open for directions the next book or books might take. Just a really cool paranormal romance read.

Venganza: The Fuentes Legacy by Greta Cribbs was a dark twisted tale, that had me not only hooked but it had me shielding my eyes and holding my breath.
My first read by this author, and I didn’t know what I was getting myself into. This is a prequel novel, so I do suggest (even if I didn’t) reading that first book. It probably would have cleared somethings up for me, but in all, even without reading the first book, I didn’t feel like anything was confusing.
Wow, if I could I leave my read as just that I would, but I’m not in that business, so let me elaborate, shall we.
Told with a sinister tone and gritty scenes, I was pulled into this pretty much instantly. Rich with darkness and graphic scenes, I had to look away like I was watching a horror movie. For to have such things done by one’s own family, horrendous and pure nightmare fuel. The story itself has a nice steady flow, with intertwined ribbons of darkness, creating a tension that stays with the story as you read and become more immersed. I have to say I don’t think I have read anything like this book, and I want more.
As this is a prequel to the main series, I’m going to leave my review here as anything will spoil this haunting tale. So please take my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval, that you’ll not only be captured by this unique original horror, but you’ll be left wanting much, much, more.

Jamie Schlosser’s latest novel, Untrainable, is the epitome of a romantic comedy. This author has gone above and beyond in providing a story full of hi-jinks, creative and witty retorts and a fun story line. The cast of characters were superb, from Theo and Hadley to the supporting characters – each of every single one was perfectly added to compliment the story unfolding. Jamie Schlosser is a powerful story teller and her quick wit, sassy and strong characters are one of my favorites to read. In Untrainable, the theme of the story is quirky, cute and highly entertained. You will not be able to get through this story without chuckling and or full on belly laughs. For an author to play on emotions and have them come at pivotal moments in the story, that is talent and fantastic technique.
This story was so touching. Lia is having a life crisis that she didn’t see coming. Choices were made for her and her heart was broken. Jake was a total jerk. He was a coward for how he handled the whole thing. I like how we see Lia’s journey through her emotions. She experienced so many different things and felt 100 different ways all in one day. I think She did better than most people in this situation. I was sad that there wasn’t more interaction with Declan. I would’ve liked to know more about him. Caleb was an interesting character to throw in there. I felt that Lia took something from everyone around her to start her life over. Lessons were learned and a new chapter began. It was sad and beautiful the life lessons you read in this story. Reviewed by @gguerrero89
