The Memory of Us by Lisa Sorbe – Review by Shannon Fowler

The Memory of UsThe Memory of Us by Lisa Sorbe
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Lisa Sorbe has a new fan! Me! I loved this story! I could feel Elena’s pain from the first page. I can relate to her pain and waiting to drink away the pain is something many can relate to. Learning to deal with the tough decisions in life makes a person stronger than they think they really are.

This story was easy to read and follow. However, the process of letting loved ones go is not easy. Ever. “The house looks alone, so cold and empty, and I shudder. It’s how I feel…”

The secondary characters are amazing as well. Corrine has the best words of wisdom. “You can’t make people feel any different than they’re gonna feel. And you can’t make beat yourself up for not being able to change ‘em, either.”

I can not wait to read more from Sorbe! Because, Euphoria.
