After Wrath (The Deadliest Sin Book 2) by Gwyn McNamee
This is a continuation from book 1, so these MUST be read in order.
While this story follows someone else, it’s his side of the aftermath from book 1, and how he is using all his resources to find someone. Even though he’s to be the bad guy, i found myself drawn to him, he’s a bad boy what do you expect lol. And the ending had me cursing and saying I totally knew it. What a must read series and it now needs to be August so we can get the next one as I NEED it now!

I enjoyed this past paced story that is well written, creative and engaging. I enjoyed how I was pulled in right from the beginning. The characters are connectable and they made the story come to life for me. Tracker was sent to protect Kerri but what he wasn’t expecting was to be attracted to her. Despite their struggles with each other their chemistry is off the charts. Their story is full of romance and even some suspense that left me turning pages. I would highly recommend their story.

I enjoyed both these stories in this box set. It is a great slow burn series that has the emotional roller coaster and romance that you won’t be able to put down. This is Kenzie and Nicholas’s story. One is afraid to love and doesn’t feel that it is deserved. The other has a past that needs to be overcomed. They have great chemistry together which makes their characters pop off the pages. It is a well written series that makes it feel real. I highly recommend their story.

Dinner with the Wolf (Misfits & Rogues Series Book 2) by Kimberly Forrest Rated 4 stars
This is a wonderful story with a huge cast! I did not read the first book in the series and struggled a bit with all the characters. But after a bit it all calmed down and I was comfortable with the story. This has vampires, witches,a werewolf among others. I enjoy reading about vampires and werewolves so this was right up my alley. The story moves along at a good pace and easily kept me interested. The title is perfect because that is where the magic happens. Life is changed with just a dinner. I loved how growly Jules was. It fits in perfectly with his character. Each of the characters had some growth to do and I enjoyed reading that. This is a lovely Paranormal story. While we didn’t get to spend much time with the secondary characters I would say Margot is my favorite. I can’t wait for her story it’s going to be a blast. I recommend this to fans of vampires and werewolves.

This is my first book by this author, I enjoyed it from beginning to end. It is a well written story with characters made the story come alive as they popped off the pages. Jules and Vivian are two people who have never gotten along. What will happen when he is assigned to bring the run away Vivian back? Will things change for them when they realize that they have been fighting feelings for each other? Add some action and you have a page turner until the end. I highly recommend this book.

This is the second book in this series. I highly recommend reading book one first. Once again, this author has hit it out of the park with book two. This story is action and steam. The characters bring the story to life as well as leaving me sitting on the edge of my seat just waiting to see what will happen next. He has lost something and now he wants revenge. He is coming for them, just waiting to release his monster. I loved this book and can’t wait for the third book. This is a must read!

Dracones Guardian by Sheri-Lynn Marean is apart of the Dracones series but it can be a stand alone book. Marean can pull me as the reader fully into the story from the very beginning. One thing that I really like about Paranormal/Fantasy stories is that it can be base on any location or any type of character. This, to me is what makes the genre exciting. This particular story is about Zander an Arcangel that is on earth to keep everything even between good and evil. He found his first love and had children and his life was fulfilled. That was until his love and children perished and that almost killed him. Now he has Chloe across the street and his world is a changing again. Will Zander start a relationship with Chloe or will he keep to himself? Will there be trials for Chloe and Zander? What will the outcome be? How much would you sacrifice for love?

Crafting Love is the first novel in the Wine and Furniture series by A. E. Gamrat. This is my first novel by this author.
Kelly is a small town girl who works who two other women, Delilah and Daisy. Kelly also has a Youtube channel with a few thousand followers. Kelly is the type of woman who prefers to stay busy.
One night, Kelly goes to karaoke and meets Kirk. While there is an instantly attraction, Kelly is apprehensive about a relationship because of a previous relationship in the past.
Kirk moves in with his cousin for a fresh start and instantly falls in love with Kelly. But both are hiding secrets of their own. Will the secrets tear them apart before they even have a chance to get together?
I really enjoyed this story. It was cute, funny and relatable. I love the cover and the premise caught my attention.
I enjoy the progress of Kelly and Kirk’s relationship from being friend to slow becoming more.
I noticed that this is a series and look forward to reading the next book.

This is my first book by this author, I enjoyed it from beginning to end. It is full of romance, family and even has a twist that kept me wanting more. The characters are strong, connectable and made the story come to life for me. Kaiden and Alicia’s journey is one of emotion, romance and excitement for the new addition to their family. Life has a way of throwing you lemons but it’s how you cope with them is what matters. I highly recommend this book, find out how they cope with life.

Tracking Numbers (Lost Boys MC Book 1) By: Janice M. Whiteaker 5 out of 5 stars
The story Tracking Numbers (Lost Boys MC Book 1) by Janice M. Whiteaker is a romantic suspense book. It is a fast-paced story that draws you in from the beginning and doesn’t let you go until the final page. I loved reading about the characters of Tracker and Kerri. Tracker has been assigned by Kerri’s father to protect her, to keep her safe. He finds her to be defiant and rebellious. She makes his job harder however he can’t keep his mind off of her. Kerri is a strong, feisty, intelligent, and independent woman. She left home and her father behind. Now she finds herself being followed by Tracker. Read this book for their story. This book was entertaining to read. I enjoyed the interactions and banter between Tracker and Kerri. I love MC club books and this story is a good example of the reason why. This is a wonderful story that I would recommend reading.

After Wrath (The Deadliest Sin Series Book 2) By Gwynn McNamee 4 Stars!!!!
I must admit that I was really anticipating this book! I read the first and was on bated breath waiting to see how the story would continue to unfold. I most certainly wasn’t let down. I really find the author’s writing style to be quite refreshing.
The relationship between Brynn and Alek is unique. The whole possessiveness from Alek is bordering on psycho but you can really sense the protectiveness. The whole bad boy vibe just drips off of him and the I am the big man comes across. I also found it quite interesting how the author ties the second book to the first and was on tender hooks to see how Lorenc and Rea were and really routing for them to stay safe. I really can’t wait to read more from this author and series in the future.

Secure Desire is one action – packed romantic suspense novel. It gives you everything from action, violence, twists and turns, and everything you would want in this genre!
Ian Chase is an Ex Navy SEAL and now head the Chase Group which is a billion dollar security firm. Imagine to his surprise when his brief encounter with a very engaged art historian that he had six years prior suddenly pops back into her life.
Cassiopeia Ellis is no longer engaged and even though she suffers from amnesia, she remembers meeting Ian all those years ago. This is a good thing but it also scares the crap out of her. He has appeared in her life when someone out there wants her dead.
This book had me at the edge of my seat THE WHOLE TIME! It was such a thrilling ride and I can’t wait to dive into book 2!

The Arrangement Duet Box Set By: Madison Quinn 5 out of 5 stars
The Arrangement Duet Box Set by Madison Quinn is a wonderful set of books to read. It hooked me in from the very beginning and I was soon lost in the storyline and characters. I loved reading about Nicholas Parker and Kenzie Rose. Nicholas is a man that doesn’t do commitments or anything long term. Being burned in the past has taught him not to trust. Needing to change his public image he hires Kenzie to be his pretend girlfriend. What he didn’t expect is the attraction he has to her. Kenzie is a strong, beautiful, and independent woman. She is someone who has trust issues. She is not expecting the feelings that she starts to have for Nicholas. There is an attraction between Nicholas and Kenzie. Will they be able to keep their arrangement just “business”, or will it evolve into something more? What happens when someone from Nicholas’s past becomes determined to destroy his reputation, his life, and Kenzie? Read this set of books to find out. These are stories that once I started, I just couldn’t put down. It had my emotions going up and down the entire time. The books have moments that touched my heart. I grew to care about what happened to Kenzie and Nicholas and wanted them to find happiness. I also enjoyed reading and learning about the additional characters that interact with Kenzie and Nicholas. I would highly recommend reading this box set.

Dinner with The Wolf (Misfits & Rogues Series Book 2) By: Kimberly Forrest 5 out of 5 stars
The story Dinner with The Wolf (Misfits & Rogues Series Book 2) by Kimberly Forrest is a paranormal romance book. It hooked me in from the very beginning and I found myself not wanting to put it down until I had finished the final page. I loved reading about the characters of Vivian Page and Jules Kincaid. Vivian is a vampire who is on the run and out of the sanctuary of Greenlawn Hall. She soon finds that the outside world is a dangerous place. Then Jules shows up to rescue her. Jules is a wolf shifter. He doesn’t like the idea that he has been tasked with finding Vivian. They seem to have a mutual contempt for one another. Now finding themselves in close contact with each other their feelings begin to change. What does the future hold for Jules and Vivian? Read this book to find out. I love stories that include romance and the paranormal. This book is a very good example of why. It does an amazing job of building a world where shifters, vampires, and other creatures live. The story does have some very romantic moments that make the temperature in the room rise. I grew to care about Vivian and Jules with each chapter that I read and found myself wanting them to be happy. I enjoyed the bantering that goes back and forth between them. I also enjoyed reading about many of the additional characters that interact with Vivian and Jules. This is a book that was enjoyable and entertaining to read. Highly recommended.

The story Act I: Seed On Fire (Moore Family Saga Book 1) by Michele Sims is a book that I loved reading. I loved both the characters and the storyline. You are taken on a journey into the lives of Kaiden and Alicia Moore. They are a couple who are balancing their careers and the arrival of their first child. The story has many emotional moments and dialogue. There are times when it is suspenseful and you wonder what will happen next and others when you feel the depth of love between Kaiden and Alicia. Many of them are family and it is interesting to read about the family dynamics that occur. This couple has a support system. Kaiden and Alicia have challenges that they must face. Read this story to find out their amazing journey. This is a book that once I started, I didn’t want to put down until I had finished the last page. Highly recommended reading.

After Wrath by Gwyn McNamee is the second book in the Deadliest Sins series. This series absolutely has to be read in order as it follows the same characters and is a continuation of the story. I didn’t think after book 2 that this series could get any better but the author certainly brought her A game. This was incredible. Alek is the exact opposite of a hero but that does not stop you from being drawn into him all the same. He is dark, angry and unafraid to exert his strength and power. Again this is a short story but it really didn’t feel that way. It was as detailed and well written as a full length novel. And even if it had been full length it would have still be over too soon. If you are looking for something that isn’t your typical romance, that is a little bit more dark than your usual books then this is the series for you. Another 5* read from someone who is fast becoming a firm favourite of mine.

The story After Wrath (The Deadliest Sin Book 2) by Gwyn McNamee is a book that is dark and intense. It had me hooked from the very start and I read it all in one sitting. The author does an amazing job of making the storyline and characters come alive. This is a book the includes raw and powerful emotions. It grabs your attention and doesn’t let go until you have finished the final page. You enter a world that is cold and calculating. I found myself holding my breath and turning pages wondering what was going to happen next. This is a journey that you don’t want to miss out on taking. I highly recommend reading this book.

Fierce Emotions by Linda Burson is the 8th book in The Marcy Series, a series that I would suggest reading in order as each new book follows the one before!
I’ve started this series on a couple occasions; however, I was never able to fully connect with these characters which made it harder to read. I love how original this storyline is, the amount of twist an turns is incredible yet for me something seemed to be missing. The one thing I will note is that I found the conversations between the characters to be more on the formal end which made it feel a bit choppy when reading.
However, even with all that being said I would still recommend Linda Burson as an author as I’ve absolutely loved some of her other work, in fact a couple of her books are on my list of all-time favorites!
I look forward to reading more from this author in the future!

The final part of the Beckoned Series did not disappoint. At the beginning of the book we find our hero Soren Lund living a basic and peaceful life in Costa Rica with girlfriend Elena and her son Diego. A chance meeting with an old friend and a new friend set into motion a change of circumstances and he finds himself once again rebuilding his life in New Zealand, still far from his native Denmark. I really enjoyed this book. I have invested a lot in Soren over the series and I was not disappointed by this final book. It tied up all the ends I wanted it to. I enjoy the way Aviva Vaughn describes the characters and their surroundings with equal passion. For me, one of the beauties of her writing is the illustration of the places the characters visit. I could almost be in the Tivoli gardens, strolling down that boulevard, or on the Costa Rican beach feeling the surf sting my face. I loved getting to know the wider Lund family and the inclusion of such a cataclysmic event as the Tsunami of 2004 and how it affected people who were not even anywhere near it. Overall, I have to say I was sad to finish the book, I had thrown myself into it and wasn’t ready for it to end! That is always a sign of a good book to me. Well done. Saying that, I could not have asked for more of the ending, it was exactly what it should have been.

What an opening to a book! Flora is literally about to walk down the aisle to marry long term boyfriend Thomas when she suddenly realises she can’t. Running from the chapel she bumps into Dean who was there for his own wedding which is also not destined to happen. A chance meeting, a night of passion, then they go back to their own lives, but is this really all there is for this intriguing couple? Flora is a fab character with lots of pizzaz and enough positivity to counteract the sometimes negative Dean who is disappointed from a failed pro sports career. The minor characters MK and Clay are also entertaining and give us some great moments in the book. What made me laugh very early on in the story was the reference to him looking like a character from Game of Thrones – very current! I knew exactly who the author meant and that cemented this character’s look for me for the rest of that opening part of the book. This was a light-hearted fun, second chance, “will-they, won’t-they” kind of book that I love to read by the pool on holiday. Totally recommend it!

Wrath by Gwyn McNamee is the first book in the Deadliest Sins series. This is a dark story that you will devour in one sitting. I simply could not put this book down. It is a relatively short read, and yet the book feels so much longer than it is because it is so intense. It really felt like I could have been reading a full length novel. You are taken on a rollercoaster of a journey, one that is dark and twisted. As usual this author completely takes over your sense when you dive into one of her books. I really enjoyed the fact that this one was different to anything else I had read by her. This is a fantastic read and I cannot wait to read book 2.

They took something from me. Something that can never be replaced. They destroyed something. Something that can never be repaired. Only one thing can appease the burning rage in my soul. Unleashing my wrath on those responsible. The Dragon will rise. Death will reign. Because wrath is the deadliest sin.
Gwyn McNamee is an attorney, writer, wife, and mother (to one human baby and two fur babies). Originally from the Midwest, Gwyn relocated to her husband’s home town of Las Vegas in 2015 and is enjoying her respite from the cold and snow. Gwyn has been writing down her crazy stories and ideas for years and finally decided to share them with the world. She loves to write stories with a bit of suspense and action mingled with romance and heat. When she isn’t either writing or voraciously devouring any books she can get her hands on, Gwyn is busy adding to her tattoo collection, golfing, and stirring up trouble with her perfect mix of sweetness and sarcasm (usually while wearing heels).

Tracker I expected it to be easy when Kerri’s daddy ordered me to protect her, but keeping the president’s daughter safe was harder than I expected. Hell, finding her was harder than I expected. Once I did, all I could do was grab her and hold on tight. If I let go, she gets hurt. If I don’t, I’m the one on the line.
Kerri I thought I got away. Breaking free of my father’s ties was the hardest thing I’ve ever done–until now. The past I tried to bury is back and it looks a whole lot better than I remember. But that’s not the life I want. I can’t go back. I won’t. No matter how enticing the lure.
I am a stay-at-home mom who needed a freaking break from never-ending conversations with five-year-olds about poop and farts. So I decided to write books. And drink whiskey. Sometimes simultaneously.
I live on a farm-ish in southwestern Ohio with three kids, one husband, six chickens, four ducks, a guinea pig, a gecko and whatever else my husband and children think sounds like fun. I love to cook and to pretend like my house is clean. *disclaimer–it never is*
I love to hear from readers so you should hit me up. Come hang out in my Facebook readers group and see what sort of random schenanigans I’m currently up to and read teasers for what I’m working on now.

The road trip from hell will change both their lives forever…
She needed an escape… Fearing punishment from her maker, vampire, and former actress, Vivian Page flees the sanctuary of Greenlawn Hall. But the world outside is dangerous, and luck has abandoned her as she’s put through one trial after another. She would have welcomed a rescue if it hadn’t come in the form of the one man who hated her.
He was looking for a way out… Cursed with immortality, wolf shifter Jules Kincaid has been slowly going insane for years as his inner beast balked against their unnatural state. The last thing he needed was to be charged with fetching the petulant and spoiled vampire he hated home. Surely the universe was testing him, but if it brought him closer to his goal of finding the would-be angel that cursed him, he’d do it. After decades of avoiding each other, forced proximity is the last thing either of them wanted, but as enemies become lovers, it may just prove the one thing they both needed.

Secure Again: A Chase Group Story by R.L. Dunn is another winner. It is a thrilling and enticing read that is non stop action from the start to finish. There are so many players it is a wonder that R.L. was able to keep up with them all as it was a little daunting myself but she did a masterful job. of weaving it all together to come out with a story that will have your heart pounding and your emotions on high alert. I really enjoy the Chase Group stories and love their characters. This one was a bit of a hard pill to swallow at the thought of what the evil men and women in this story were doing and I could not wait for their just deserts to be served with a side of whipped cream. It is choc-a-block full of action and danger, secrets and lies, heartache and love.
Dr. Elizabeth Reed is one strong and sassy, independent and beautiful woman but she is heartbroken. She has long suspected that things have not been right with the injuries she sees on some of her patients. When she asks questions she doesn’t realise she is now putting herself in life threatening danger. However, when doing everything she can to save a life, she comes face to face with the one person who shattered her heart.
Martin Bailey is the CEO of Chase Security International, but all that is left behind when he has a family emergency. Whilst waiting for answers he finds himself face to face with the one person who tore his heart out and stomped on it. What he finds when he gets to the hospital will require the whole of Chase Security and then some to bring the monsters to justice.
The book is extremely fast paced and will have you biting nails and on the edge of your seat. Not one to be missed.

Wow what a way to start a book! This one was a great addition to the Beachcombers Investigations series and I was pulled in from the very beginning. This book has a little big of everything… Tragedy, suspense, romance and danger. Something interesting around every corner and I felt like I was there for it all. I am looking forward to reading more by this author and I would recommend this book to a friend!
