Kingdom of War (Kingdom Journals Volume 4) by Tricia Copeland – Review by Karyn Taylor
Kingdom of War by Tricia Copeland
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Kingdom of War is the 4th book in the Kingdom Journals by Tricia Copeland. It is a paranormal/fantasy series. This book can be read as a stand-alone although it is a continuation from the previous books in the series, each of which surround one main character. I had not read any of the previous books in the series but the author does a fantastic job of making sure that you are not missing and important parts of the story.
This book centres around Hunter, who at 17. has only recently discovered that he is a witch. In fact, he’s a very important witch with a huge role to play in the future of all witches.
Reading this book was a huge leap for me as this is a genre that I’ve not read since I was a teenager (many, many years ago!) and I was unsure if I’d still enjoy this genre. Thankfully my fears were not realised as I thoroughly enjoyed it. There are many character and the whole plot/story line is quite intricate so you have to concentrate when reading (well, I did) but it’s worth it as this book is a great read. I would definitely recommend this book.
