Devil’s Dilemma: Satan’s Devils MC (Colorado Chapter #4) by Manda Mellett
5-Stars
Devil’s Dilemma: Satan’s Devils MC (Colorado Chapter #4) by Manda Mellett was an excellent addition to this series. It can be read as a standalone and includes characters from the earlier books. I lived the flow of this story and absolutely loved the characters. The plot twists were totally unexpected and made the story even more exciting. This book is definitely my favorite of this series! The characters had excellent development and were detailed enough to easily visualize. If you have not read a motorcycle club series before than I highly recommend this author. She really brings her books to life and allows the reader to relate to the characters. They are all very realistic. I loved this book and I highly recommend it!

Matt’s Swirly World: Children’s Book by Madeleine Matthews
4-Stars
Matt’s Swirly World: Children’s Book by Madeleine Matthews was a cute children’s book that helps teach a lesson on emotions and mindfulness. I loved the illustrations in this book and the bright colors. My son loved it too and really liked the Dragon. It had a wonderful way of teaching mindfulness to children but would require some help from an adult to help explain it more. Very cute and creative though!

Demon’s Angel: Satan’s Devils MC (Colorado Chapter) #2 by Manda Mellett
5 out of 5 stars
This isn’t the first book that I have read by Ms. Mellett and I have to say her work gets better with every book that I have read, Demon’s Angel in the second book in the Colorado Chapter of Satan’s Devils MC. The characters are strong and well written, and the plot was great it had me reading this book in one sitting.
Demon promised his best friend he’d watch over his little sister, a debt he considered paid when she was grown and settled out of state. Now ten years later she’s back in their town, this time with a baby in tow. She needs help, he can give it as a replacement big brother of course.
When Violet meet Demon again, she realis’s her feelings have matured, but not changed over the years. She still wants him. He doesn’t see her that way, treating her just like he would a sister. Stepping into Nathan’s shoes to help her out of trouble. She does need help should she take the chance on Demon helping her or walking away? She is being dragged into a war and she is dragging the Satan Devils with her can they win? I highly recommend this book/series…

This is the third story In this series. Flowers and writing have been found but music is Uriel’s story. This is full of action, suspense and some fun. I enjoyed this the more I read. It has been a bit since the last one and I forgot all about Dante and his quest. I am back up to speed with everyone and their mates as well as what Dante is planning. This is a fast moving enjoyable story filled with wit, fun and suspense. I liked getting to read Uriel’s part in all this and how he reacted to his mate. I see Raphael’s story is last and we get to read the conclusion of this four part series.

SAN DIEGO DEAD (Jake Wolfe Series Book 4) by Mark Nolan. I LOVED this book. Its the 4th book in the Jack Wolfe series and I couldn’t put it down. Its the story of Jake Wolfe, a retired Marine turned Lawyer and his super smart, super trained war veteran dog Cody. They have planned this wonderful vacation to San Diego & Cabo San Lucas but of course nothing goes as planned. They find themselves in the middle of a murder and it involves a criminal cartel and a missing package they want back badly. The cartel will do anything to get it back. When Jake finds out the missing package contains something that is a huge threat to the US he decides he will do whatever it takes to find it before the Cartel does. With the help of Cody, Jake is determined they can find this package but will they beat the Cartel who will stop at nothing to find it first including murder whoever gets in their way? Will Cody & Jake survive this mission they didn’t want to be on? Read San Diego Dead to find out. I fell in love with Cody more and more in this book!

Hitting the High Note (A Four Horsemen Novel Book 3) by C.A King 4 Stars
This is the third book in the series. Each book focuses on a particular horseman so technically you can read it as a stand-alone but I wouldn’t recommend it. There is an underlying story line throughout the series so reading it from the beginning is a good idea. This story centers around Uriel. Their sole purpose of existence is to guard the gates of Hell and someone wants it open. While Uriel is hunting down demons, he comes across a damsel in distress and thinking himself a cowboy, comes to her aid. I think it’s hilarious that an archangel walks and talks like a cowboy. Saving her leads to adventure, danger and love.
Though it’s a quick read, a lot happens on these pages. The plot unfolds a little more, making you realize that there is more going on than you originally believed. Looking forward to reading the next in the series.

This over the top sweet romance had me glued to kindle till I was done with the last page. Teddy Cat Hester is a new author to me and I was shocked by how much I really enjoyed Run From Love. I normally like my romances to have some heat to them but the writing of these characters and the storytelling; didn’t have me missing the heat at all.
Scarlett is set with not letting her “relationships” going pass 6 months so she won’t get hurt. But Nick is determined to make Scarlett change her rules. These two had me laughing, wants to punch someone and on the verge of tears if they didn’t stick together.
Nick’s son Noah and Scarlett’s dogs Daffy and Dilly were icing on the perfect cake in this story. I can’t wait to read more from this group friends.

I give To Kill a Fae (The Dragon Portal Book 1) by Jamie A. Waters, 5 stars.
Sabine has been hiding in this city among the humans and others. Very few know who or what she really is. When a stranger comes to town, he is intriguing. But he seems to know a bit too much about her kind. It is obvious that he is hiding something, but what? Will it come back to hurt her? Someone has discovered who she is though and now she must make a decision, run or stay and fight, knowing she risks the lives of those she has come to care for.
This author is knew to me and I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was blown away. The characters and world are so fantastically created, I was pulled right in. The story is unlike anything I have read before and I completely enjoyed it. Sabine is such a wonderful lead character and the others in the book are so interesting and help make this book even better. I cannot wait to see what lies in store for us in the future books in the series.
If you are a fan of fantasy, a wonderful female lead characters, this book is for you.

Devil’s Dilemma by Manda Mellett is their the fourth book in the Satan’s Devils MC Colorado Chapter series. This book is full of twists and turns that will leave you desperate to read more. This has been a brilliant series and this book is just another example of that. I knew from the blurb that I would be drawn into this bill but I didn’t expect to be so immersed in what was happening. I really liked Pyro and Mel, for me they just clicked. I was hoping all the way through that they would find a way to be together. The story was exciting. The author really takes you on a journey with this book. She definitely knows how to keep you on the edge of your seat. This is one series I would definitely recommend reading.

I loved this series as individual stories and how awesome they are now in a boxset. This is about the life of Alessandra and her struggles with her mob family. I love her character, she is so strong and just makes the story flow, fast reading, and feeling of realism. Her story is about family and the drama that goes with it. Her father wants her to take over the family one day but she just wants a normal life. Will she find what she is looking for? I highly recommend this must read series.

I loved this book! This is a children’s book that is creative and engaging. I read this story to a couple of smaller children. They were engaged and loved the pictures that go with the story. They could follow the story easily. I would not hesitate to read this book to other children. It is a great tool that will help children understand emotions and having those emotions are okay. It brings the subject down to a child’s perception so they can understand it. I highly recommend this book
This is my first book by this author. It is a suspense book that brings everything that I enjoy in this type of book. This book pulled me in from the beginning and it was engaging. The characters made me feel as if I was part of the story. Madison has found herself with no money and a widow to boot. She packs her daughter up and they move back home with her mother. What will happen when her small business brings more than income to her life? Great characters. I highly recommend this book.

To say I’m completely obsessed with this series is an understatement! I love a good MC and sometimes they can be really hard to come by but this series is GOLD!
Demon is 100% pure alpha male hotness and the new president of Hellfire. Violet is a strong and feisty single mom who is now back in her home town after 10 years of being away. Her brother was Demon’s best friend before he died and Demon was supposed to keep looking out for her. Now Demon wants to make up for his promise but he starts seeing her differently and the chemistry is explosive!
Love this series and I loved these two characters. They are probably my favorite so far!

Demon’s Angel by Manda Mellett a five-star read that will start your engine. This is number two in the Satan’s Devils MC (Colorado chapter) Cross over series and they just go from strength to strength. The strength and sizzle in this story will make you see the a roller-coaster of rainbow emotions. Violet is such a great character, her strength will make you care so deeply for her, Demon was weirdly the one I was slow to come to, I didn’t think he was enough in the beginning, he just didn’t appeal to me but about half way through I don’t know why but I was suddenly like, wow he is such a great man. I don’t know where it came from, but it surprised me. Secrets and history don’t always play fair, but Manda Mellett has a great way of pulling both together and blowing us away.

Evil Sushi by C.A. King a five-star read that you will want to chow down on. This is the first in a new series and shows us again what a talented but scary mind C.A. King must have, the imagination of this author is second to none. This supernatural thriller has a bit of everything in it, it’s a rea thought provoking and startling story, it will make you stop and think all the while you are swept up and unable to stop reading. There were so many levels and depths to this story, so many layers like a fancy trifle some are sweet, but they may not all be. Sink your teeth into this story and if you haven’t read this author before, find yourself a new favourite author along the way.

My Life Series: Prequel to The Brothers of Camelot By: Necie Navone 5 out of 5 stars
Books in Set: My Hidden Life My Tragic Life My Free Life
This is a wonderful box set to read. It weaves stories that hook you in from the very beginning and you don’t want to put it down until the last page. There are three books in this series, and they tell the story of Alessandra Canzano. She was born into a crime family. Alessandra is intelligent, resourceful, stubborn, and in some ways dangerous. She is also strong and confident. These books have heartbreaking and heartwarming scenes. There are times that I felt anger and bitterness at what this young girl has to go through. She doesn’t shy away from saying what is on her mind. The other characters around her are at times helpful to Alessandra and then there are those have their own agenda and plans. What Alessandra really wants is a “normal” life. Will she finally be free and able to make her own choices? Read these books to find out. I enjoyed how detailed these books are. I felt like I was right there with the characters. Don’t miss out on reading an amazing book set. You won’t be disappointed.

Chicken Scratch (The Sisters, Texas Mystery Series Book 1) By: Becki Willis 5 out of 5 stars
The story Chicken Scratch (The Sisters, Texas Mystery Series Book 1) by Becki Willis is a wonderful mystery book. It pulls you in from the beginning and does let you go until the end. I found that the story has a good pace and will have you searching for answers with Madison. I so enjoyed reading about Madison. She is intelligent and resourceful. She finds herself living with her grandmother and trying to build a business called “In a Pinch Temporary Services. Her life soon becomes complicated as she finds the dead body of a client, hired to clear a suspect’s name, and dealing with her teenage twins. Oh, and there is that handsome and attractive police chief who she had a crush on in high school. Is the death of her first client an accident or something more? Read this book to find out. I loved that this book had a small-town setting. I come from a smaller farm community and have found that when I come home my actions have already been reported. There is small-town gossip that made me smile as I was reading. There are many additional characters that are introduced and have their own part to play in the story. Some of them are more helpful than others and then you have the ones that their only concern is themselves. Don’t miss out on a book that is well-written, detailed, and has some wonderful characters. I highly recommend it.

When children are young their emotions come in peaks and valleys. Sometimes they’re super excited, sometimes they’re sad, and sometimes they lose control and express themselves by throwing a temper tantrum.
These outbursts of emotions are common for parents and kids of all walks of life and can be leveraged by parents who want to teach impulse control, improved behavior, and better mindfulness.
That’s why Matt’s swirly world was written to help parents understand the “why” behind a tantrum as well as what’s going on inside their child’s brain when they’re acting out, feeling scared, or reacting to stressful situations.
An adorable journey featuring a mother and her young son, this book is a great reminder about how all emotions are accepted and that proper behaviors can be learned by kids and taught by moms and dads. In fact, your love is the perfect space where emotions can be processed, expressed, and shared together.
In this book parents will learn how mindfulness helps kid’s create better coping skills, but also a variety of other useful tools, including:
How love can be used to process emotions and support positive behaviors
Why feelings of anger and frustration come and go and are non-threatening
How a calm voice and demeanor can soothe a child and minimize meltdowns
Providing children relief from stress, anxiety, or big feelings and emotions
How children often mimic the behaviors of their mothers and fathers
Moving forward and adapting to behavioral changes in the future
This is an opportunity to learn and grow as a parent while teaching your child valuable mindfulness and self-control skills they can use long into adulthood. And it should be the first book you read on tantrums, emotions, and how to inspire positive behaviors each and every day.
When you need help better understanding why your child feels or acts they way they do in times of crisis, or you just want to connect with them on a deeper level, learn more about temper tantrums and emotional control with Matt’s swirly world – Helping Parents Understand Tantrums to Create Mindful Kids.
Aspiring contemporary ballerina, commercial poet, grateful wife and mother. Certified Life Coach, BA Finance, MA Statistics ( don’t judge, I was young ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ), now IT Product Manager. When I was pregnant with my now 3 y/o boy, I was worried of how I can raise my child to cope in a world of bullying, peer pressure, substance abuse, screen time etc. My husband told me that if we want our son to thrive in this world, all we need to do is build his self confidence & firm limits. So that’s how I started reading parenting books, and reached a lot; I read tons of books on the latest research discoveries in interpersonal biology and brain development. I worked with a psychologist that specialize in child development and attachment parenting. I am above all, convinced of the immense potential every child has and their absolute innocence; I know from experience that raising kids can often feel quite differently, and challenging. I am convinced that the way to turn that potential into peaceful family lives and well balanced kids – is both intuition and science (and patience). Being emotionally available as a parent, being present for them and for your self, to keep your own emotional highs & lows in check. Because they are good at triggering us, aren’t they? I write lyrics since aged 8, when I had no money to buy my mother gifts; I really wanted to create joy in her heart, so I started dedicating poems to her. Pack this all together and you get : Matt’s swirly world

If you are intrigued by any of these books at all, this box set is a must read. Because I promise once you read one, you will want them all.
If you are interested in the Brothers of Camelot series, this box set is a must read as it provides valuable insight into a few of the main characters.
Navone does a brilliant job describing mob life in Europe and somehow making it relatable whether that is a geography or life you are familiar with.
Beautifully written. Dramatic and emotional. Highly recommend!

My Life Series: Box Set contains the three book prequel to the Brothers of Camelot series. It can be read as a standalone, but once you read it you will want more. Be prepared for a Necie Navone addiction!!! I love this series so much! It has everything you could want in a captivating read. There’s action, friendship, grief, loss, camaraderie, longing, suspense, emotion, playful teasing, funny banter, and lots of riveting of drama- in this bloody and somewhat violent, coming of age story- with a twist. It really reminds me of “La Femme Nikita” in a lot of ways- which I also love about it. I think this series would make a brilliant movie, television series, or telemovie!!
The Box Set contains: -My Hidden Life (Book One) -My Tragic Life (Book Two) My Free Life (Book Three)
Alessandra Canzano was born into an Italian crime family, the only child of the powerful and ruthless Capo (boss). She is their Princess, treated as royalty and living a fairytale life- until her sixth birthday when danger makes itself known, changing her life forever. Her father had big plans for her right from the moment she was born, but after the events at her sixth birthday, he becomes even more controlling and obsessive. Alessandra’s beloved Uncle was tasked with training her, as he would one of the men. From the age of six she learnt hand to hand combat, then at eight she began weapons training as well. She was to tell no one of her training, or the reasons behind it. She was to keep that part of her life hidden from her mother, grandmother, family and friends. Aless soon became one of the best fighters in ‘the family’, easily able to out shoot and defeat any of the men in hand to hand combat. But she was also learning a lot more about her family, their business, and the role in it all. She feels the heavy burden of responsibility and expectation, wishing she could just live a normal life. She has one brief encounter with a boy that stays with her long after he’s gone. Holding that moment in her heart and dreaming of a life with someone who loves her passionately. Although she may be the family Princess, she feels more like a prisoner. The more she learns, the more she questions whether she can be a part of that world anymore. She starts to wonder if she would be better off running away and leaving it all behind. With danger an ever-present part of her life, Aless will have to remain vigilant. She is determined to find a way to avoid what her father has planned. But what can she do? Will she have no choice but to buckle under the pressure to preform to his expectations? What exactly does her father have planned for her? What does she uncover along the way? Where does Greyson fit into all of this? Does she end up staying because she’s afraid of losing everyone she loves? Or will she finally escape her gilded prison? What does her future hold? Shocks, twists, tragedy, lessons and more await Aless. Ms. Navone is a wonderful storyteller, weaving a superb story that plucked at my heart strings, had me on the edge of my seat most of the time- whilst also creating characters who came to life, pulling me into their world and holding my attention right through till the end. The story is told from several POV’s which gave the story an extra element of interest. There was a lot going on in this book, lots of action, suspense, some violence, emotion, drama, and just a drop of romance. Highly recommended reading!! Brilliant!

Draigon Weather by Paige L. Christie is the first book in the Legacies of Arnan series. This book is an absolutely fantastic story that is not only imaginative but original. This is the first book I have read by this author and what an introduction it was. The story was amazing. It was completely different to books of this genre that I have read before. It was exciting and captivating. I had barely started it before I was hooked. I loved the journeys that the characters went on and how different they were to each other. It really set the tone for the story and added such a depth to it. I loved reading about them both. This is definitely a strong book and one that I would highly recommend reading. I will definitely be going straight out to buy book 2!

Protecting his Heart, is book two in the Lawson Series by Tracey Cramer-Kelly. This Christian Romance was such a good read, that I found myself reading this in one sitting. I was drawn in by the characters, the love story, and the healing power of forgiveness. Ian, with the help of his best friend’s family was able to grow and have a good life. Being a cop is something that he loves, and his simple life is thrown when he meets Rachel things change. Rachel wants a family and wants a happy marriage, and When Ian steps up to help her his kindness shows her so much. Both Ian and Rachel have pasts that need to end before they can see what love lays ahead of them! This five star read was so good and the only thing I didn’t like was the length. I was so drawn into the story I wanted to enjoy them a little longer!!

Devil’s Dilemma could not have been a more perfect book! I am seriously loving the Colorado Chapter of the Satan’s Devils MC. These books are just so full of story, love, intrigue, and most of all gorgeous characters set in a gorgeous setting of Colorado. I would highly recommend that you read the series in order for the fullest enjoyment, but I could see where you could appreciate these books as standalones as well. I just happen to have gotten hooked and invested.
Devil’s Dilemma brings us Pyro and Melissa’s story. These two are both strong and valiant characters with a past that proves to make their future challenging. Starting out as friends these two develop into something so beautiful it had me letting a few tears go for them. The twists and turns that are woven so perfectly into their story kept me on the edge of my seat well past my bedtime. I couldn’t get enough and I sincerely look forward to reading the next novel in the series!
