Golden Void (Black Blade Book 3) by Alexander Charalambides – Review by Angela Shirley

Golden VoidGolden Void by Alexander Charalambides
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Will Megan succeed in this second quest she has been put on the path of or will she struggle to know who to trust and who not too?

This is the third book in this series and I am so glad Megan got a book to herself, within the other stories she has played a vital role in the quests but now she gets to pursue the wizards, magic and swords. Being newly adopted she believes she is now going to have a normal life but when something happen and she has to take upon a magical quest regarding another mythical sword but history is repeating itself when she has to look after Tyson and try and calm his rebellion.

This like the other stories delves into the world of the mythical and magic and I love how the story draws you cleverly into the world with Megan and Tyson to try and discover what is going on. The story twists and turners and opens your mind to fantasy world of Mr Charalambides which is rich and full of imagination. I love the character of Megan through the other books she has a quiet inner strength which you see develop through the other two books but this shows her at her best which I love a strong female character and Megan certainly is.

If you have not read the other books in this series I don’t think that you lose anything from this story and it can be read as a stand alone book but I would recommend the other books just to get your fill of such a rich world.
