Grace’s Ghosts by Stephenie Wilson Peterson – Review by Faith Jackson

Grace's GhostsGrace’s Ghosts by Stephenie Wilson Peterson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

12 year old Grace can see ghosts, lots of them along with her best friend, a cat named Midnight. After hundreds of years, she’s the only person with this secret ability to view ghosts in Tansy, her hometown. She loves her ability, the ghosts she’s befriended and would prefer their company to those of the cliques at school.
The ghosts soon unveil to Grace a hidden centuries old secret that the town is cursed unless Grace can do something to change it. 300 years ago, a witch cursed every person to set foot in her town, made them ghosts and Grace is down for the cause. Grace soon unveils the truth her family hid for generations and a world a magic that surrounds her.
Will time repeat itself with the curse happening to a new generation or will Grace lose all her ghost friends to break the curse?
I love the beautiful back story of the ghosts, the curse and I fell in love with Grace from the beginning. She’s so sweet and her personality is adorable. Great read!
