My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Trey: European Redemption (Russian Mob Chronicles Book 7) by Shandi Boyes was a great 5 star read. I love a good read and this story pulled me right in, the author pushes the boundaries on the topic and grittiness.

This is Trey and Kristina’s (Duchess) story. Trey works for Nikolai who we met in a previous book. Trey is very protective and when he meets Kristina he’s pulled right in by her. There was something about her eyes, something familiar. Kristina was forced into sex-trafficking the last six years and I would consider her a survivor. Trey also has some things from his past that have made him the man he is today.

Can these two put each other back together again?

Overall I really enjoyed this read. My emotions were all over the place, we get so much in one book. I really liked these two characters and the secondary characters added a great element to the story. I will warn that some things in this book may cause triggers for some. I look forward to reading more from this series and author. I love an author who isn’t afraid to give you dark, gritty and so much more.
