DEADLY WEAPON (Jake Wolfe Book 5) by Mark Nolan. This book is part of the wonderful Jack Wolfe series and it can be read as a standalone. Its the story of Jake Wolfe a war vet who has to stop a deadly virus from wiping out the country. His military dog and sidekick Cody is as usual a very endearing part of the story. Jake has a girlfriend who is a veterinary specialist who has a wild way of helping as well. Jake and Cody along with Tuktu, Jake’s veteran friend who is also a fishing guide are on a fishing trip in Alaska when a military helicopter shows up. Jake and Cody know they have to leave to help with this mission. Will Jake find the people responsible for unleashing the deadly virus before its too late or will he fail the ultimate mission.
