Just One Song (Just One… Book 2) by Lynn Stevens. This is the 2nd book in the series but can be read as a standalone. Its the story of Cami Harris a up and coming singer in Branson who has dreams of New York fame. Cami has always loved Branson but knew in the back of her mind she would eventually leave and go to New York or LA. She knows that if she really wants to hit the big time she needs to be somewhere other than Branson. While she is figuring out where to go Southern Rock Legend Hank Walker comes to Mountain View Theater for the summer and she gets the job of one of his back up singers. She really thinks this could be her big break even if he’s a horrible jerk. When she starts hanging out with Dylan, Hank’s son he tries to teach her the ropes but as they become close feeling get involved and things get complicated.
