Rose by Any Other Name (The Sisters, Texas #10)Rose by Any Other Name by Becki Willis
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was a great mystery story, that kept you gripped. It is set in a small town and really captures the essence of that with all the locals gossiping and reporting to the police.

There is a new arrival to The Sisters and her arrival causes a bit of a stir. Rose is the new person in town. She seems nice enough but can looks be deceiving?

When Brash the local police officer gets numerous calls regarding a supposed dead body wrapped in a carpet he goes to investigate. Finding nothing that leads him to believe that’s true he moves on putting it down to the residents imaginations.

That is until his wife finds a dead body. Does this mean that all the residents where right in what they saw? Could the dead body really have left Rose’s house wrapped in a rug? Who is Rose and why has she moved to The Sisters. With so many questions and not a lot of answer Brash involves his wife and her friends as undercover sleuths to find out what really went on behind the closed doors.
