Grumbler's Ride (Satan's Devils MC San Diego #2)Grumbler’s Ride by Manda Mellett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Grumblers Ride is book 2 in the Satan’s Devils MC San Diego series, by Manda Mellet.

The story starts with Grumbler….who certainly earns his name at first. He’s an older member of the club and you get the impression he’s seen almost everything. His bike is his pride and joy, so when he agrees to it ‘modelling’ in a photo, he gets annoyed very quickly when his fee isn’t paid.
Mary is having the same problem, except it’s her daughter who’s waiting for her modelling fee. She didn’t want her seventeen year old daughter involved in this anyway, but there’s no going back now, and she deserves to be paid rather than conned.
Grumbler and his MC brothers soon come up with a plan, and when grumbler spends more time with Mary and Alicia, we begin to see the softer side to him….there’s more to him than his name lets on.
I loved the relationship between Grumbler and Mary, she softens his grumpiness and he brings her out of her shell and shows her there’s more to life that she’s been missing out on. I would recommend this story, and can’t wait to read more books in the series now.
