This is Kinley and Jake’s story. Kinley is running the local animal shelter and Jake is working to find a fugitive and it has brought him to Crystal Rock undercover. When he realizes who Kinley is, old feelings start to come back to him. Will she recognize him? Will Jake be able to get the bad guy before he causes harm? I really liked this story and the dogs and puppies added even more to it. I also enjoyed seeing some of the characters from previous stories.
