Murder at Honeybee Lake (Shadow of a Doubt Book 2) by Jessica Aiken-Hall – Review by Ashley Dover

Murder at Honeybee Lake (Shadow of a Doubt, #2)Murder at Honeybee Lake by Jessica Aiken-Hall
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The second book in the Shadow of Doubt series by Jessica Aiken-Halle will not disappoint you. This twisted tale had me on edge as each piece of the puzzle started to fit together. This is such an amazing story about love and its power to help each of us in our times of need.

Just as Randy and Ben are ready to start their new life, a murder at their lake house on Honeybee Lake starts a whole new line of trouble. Randy doesn’t know how it’s possible that a dead body ended up under their dock. Ben is a wreck because he finds the body, and no one seems to believe him…the police nor Randy.

The fight to find the truth is a lot harder for both Ben and Randy than anyone could have ever predicted as an evil spirit from Randy’s past haunts both of them with terrible thoughts that they both committed the crime. Possession by an evil spirit is difficult to overcome. With Sara and Tara, paranormal specialists on their side, how can anything go wrong?

New friends, old connections, and family surround them both with a love that helps them to overcome their obstacles. How much will they have to go through to find the truth behind the dead body?
