My rating: 5 of 5 stars

House in the Woods by Jessica Aiken-Hall is the first book I’ve read by this author. What was I waiting for?! I couldn’t put this book down! What a story!

Molly is home for the summer. While she’s home she has to care for her mother who was diagnosed with dementia. Her mother goes missing again but this time Molly feels compelled to call her older brother. While looking for her mom, Molly finds a missing person flyer and she can’t help but feel a connection to the woman on the flyer who’s been missing for over 20 years. After finding the flyer, of course Molly has to keep digging and the weirdness doesn’t end there. Where does Molly go from here? I don’t want to spoil too much of the book.

This book was so good! I didn’t know what to expect next and was constantly on the edge of my seat. I highly recommend this book!
