Seven Strengths: A Tale From Turaset is the prequel to The Industrial Age Trilogy by P.L Tavormina. Ms. Tavormina is a new-to-me author, so I really didn’t know what to expect going into this story. But the premise intrigued me enough to want to grab a copy and dive right in.
What I discovered is a futuristic coming of age story set in another world. It is a YA sci-fi story with a bit a dystopian feel to it. With challenges, danger, hidden agendas, politics, greed, good vs evil, family, ‘abilities’, and some drama- we end up with an interesting story that really gave me pause for thought.
Celeste couldn’t wait to ‘escape’ her boring and predictable life- but she certainly wasn’t prepared for what would happen. The excitement she was yearning for didn’t involve quite so much danger and drama. Nothing is quite what it seems, as Celeste faces a ruthless adversary who will do whatever it takes to get what they want.
Interesting premise.
Happy reading!

Thank you, P.L Tavormina!
