Moonlit Kiss (A Venice Romance) (Moonlit Destination Series) by Amy McKinley – Review by Sarah Devereaux

Moonlit Kiss (A Venice Romance)Moonlit Kiss by Amy McKinley
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Moonlit Kiss was an enjoyable 4-star read. Amy’s books always find a way of grabbing the reader and making them want to read more and more. I enjoyed the flow of this book and the fact that it took place in Venice. The history that is described is really neat and makes you feel like you were right there alongside Gianna experiencing it firsthand.
After Gianna lands a job restoring a century-old fresco painting in Venice she packs her bags and travels to Italy to begin the restoration. Once she arrives, she feels the eerie familiarity of the city and realizes she has been here, but not in her current lifetime.
When local Sergio rescues Gianna after a mishap near a canal-side café, the two begin a friendship that turns to more. As Gianna progresses on the restoration project, she turns to her new relationship to help with an important missing piece and to help with haunting dreams of the past and events of the present.
I really enjoyed this story and I did not see the ending coming! If you enjoy a bit of romance with some suspense added then I would highly recommend this book!
