Twisted Secrets (Deadly Isles Special Ops Book 1) by Amy McKinley – Review by Angie Finley

Twisted Secrets (Deadly Isles Special Ops #1)Twisted Secrets by Amy McKinley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Xander is a Navy SEAL on leave from a mission where he was injured, when by chance he walks past the Coffee Hut and hears a voice that he is immediately drawn to. That voice belongs to Riley, a college student who works there.
Riley is unsure about relationships, but she is intrigued by Xander. Riley, however, is in a relationship, but it’s not healthy. She eventually gives Xander a chance.
After several break-ins to Riley’s home, Riley is certain her ex is behind it somehow after the break up, but she soon learns that some people cannot be trusted.
This story was very well written. It had everything I like to read. There was mystery, suspense, and romance. This was my first time reading anything by this author and it will not be the last.
