Mann in the Crossfire: A Jarvis Mann Hardboiled Detective Mystery Novel by R. Weir is the eighth book in the Jarvis Mann Mystery series. It is probably best to read this series in order so that you get full enjoyment however the book can be read as a stand-alone.
I loved that this book really was a fast past, action packed story that felt like w true crime mystery. The author knew just how to keep you on the edge of your seat the whole way through and constantly guessing as to what might happen.
It takes a lot for a series to reach this number of books and based on what I just read I can see this series being fantastic for many more books to come. I hope that we get to see more from this detective as the whole series is just fantastic.
