I enjoyed this young adult paranormal story. This is one of my first books by this author which I enjoyed how she brought the characters to life with her attention to details. They are connectable and make the story engaging. This is a well written story that pulled me in from the beginning and made it fun to read. Lucy has found herself in a new town living with family after the death of her mother. She just wants to fit in but finds that her destiny has something else in mind. She is a gifted young teen that finds herself in the middle of good and evil. What happens with Lucy you will need to find out. She kept me turning pages because I wanted to know what would happen to her next. Will the darkness destroy things before she comes to terms with her destiny? She is such a great character, I just loved her. She made the story for me. I highly recommend this book.
