My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Callie is in trouble if she stays with her abusive husband he will eventually kill her, but what is her option until her neighbour decides to her help escape but if she gets away what will she do?

Callie is lost in her world and if she does not get away the worst will happen to her and see wants to live, but the escape needs to be clean and permanent but who can she trust to help her. When a conversation comes up with her neighbour a plan is hatched and Callie feels she can finally get her life back.

Conard is used to being involve in dangerous situations but he is always the extraction to his team when they need to get somewhere or leave, so when Jane his sister in law asks for his help to plan and escape for her neighbour, the alpha and protector in him takes up the mantle to try and help, but as all good things what could go wrong?

This is the first book I have read by this author and what a start to my journey, the story is full pf twists and turns and who could not resist a handsome alpha lead. Although this is a spin off from “Trident Security” this does distract from the story, I felt that I could follow any references from that series within the story, to be honest it just made my TBR list increase.

The chemistry between these two characters is off the charts and the story is a page turner trying to get to the next thrilling twist. The characters were well developed and the secondary characters added to the story. I also loved the way the original author of the Trident Series added the who’s who so you could get an insight into the world with out having read the books which was brilliant. I can’t wait to read more books by this author and definitely the next instalment in this series.
