A Spell of Rowans by Byrd Nash – Review by Erica Shoebridge

A Spell of RowansA Spell of Rowans by Byrd Nash
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is a phenomenal book that I’m so glad I picked up. I finished it days ago, but I notice my brain is still swirling in the world of Grimsby and the Rowans. When Vic lands back in town after the death of her horrible mother, the Rowan children are together again. Old hurts and haunts rise up about the distinctly odd family, and not everyone is happy that the siblings are united. As we learn about the unique abilities, histories and secrets of Vic, Pip, and Liam, the layers of their lives become slowly peeled away to reveal the horrors of what they have endured and covered up over the years. Very interesting book with plenty of mystery, crime, and intrigue to keep you interested to the last page.
