I love BDSM stories and this was not a disappointment. The Solitaire Club is in danger of being destroyed, but by who? Russell is in charge of keeping two women safe, Holly and Gemma. Holly’s husband is out of the country for a business trip. Gemma and her husband are getting divorced, but Russell has his own rules. He is willing to dominate her, but not have intimacy with her till the divorce is final.
This is the first story in this series I have read and will be going to read the other books to get some more of the backstories of the other couples. I love the attitude and mouthiness of Gemma , I am also a bratty submissive so she calls to my heart. I really enjoyed Ivy Nelson’s writing, even though this is a BDSM story, it wasn’t all about sex. Who is trying to destroy the club? How is the enemy getting through the lines of security as easily as they are? I love stories like this that make me feel so many emotions and rushing to turn the pages to find out what is next.
