Shadows of Doubt (A Crawford Mystery) by Merissa Racine – Review by Lorralei Hoerner

Shadows of Doubt (A Crawford Mystery)Shadows of Doubt by Merissa Racine
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Ahhh book 2 in this series and it was such a great read. I loved the suspense and mystery of this story and I recommend reading book 1 first before diving into book 2. Lauren, who is a court reporter, is in need of money and decides to work for her ex husband, who is the new judge. Lauren has this instinct that the person who is on trial for the murder she is working on, may not be guilty. You get the sense that not everything is what is seems. There are motives and Lauren is trying to solve this case on her own. Author Merissa Racine really can get a reader pulled into the story on a who done it suspense thriller. I really enjoyed this book it was truly fantastic!
