Hot Hot Hot! Dirty Hot! Is how The Groomsman by Marina Hanna starts and I LOVED every minute of it. A hot passionate one night stand between Lauren, the bride’s best friend, and Mark, the groom’s best friend, it’s everything they want, but does it stay at just that.
The story written by Marina Hanna has some frustrating ups and downs as Mark and Lauren navigate the fact that one taste would never be enough. It’s a hot and heavy sexual attraction, an attraction on a personal level as well, but secrets and fear keep them both enjoying the passion between them but tucking tail after.
Lauren is quick to compare Mark to every other arsehole, as she puts it, she’s come into contact with. Mark is terrified of how she makes him feel, with as many times he tries to sabotage it, he can’t let her go.
You want hot and heavy check it out, but be warned you’re going to want to scream at both of these characters for overthinking every aspect of the other. Him because his fears make him an arsehole, her because she’s so quick to judge.
Hopefully they can get past all that’s holding them back so they both can have everything they want.
