Black Canvas by Laura Rossi.
Well, that was completely unexpected read- in a really great way!
This is a completely mindboggling and gripping psychological thriller that had me ensnared pretty much from the beginning. As I had not read any of this author’s work before, I really wasn’t expecting such a cleverly woven story- so colour me impressed! It was a little slow to get going, but soon took off and I had to strap in for one heck of a mind-bending ride.
The story is quite original, beautifully dark, complex, tense, intriguing, unpredictable, and entirely unforgettable. I would love to go into detail here- but the story is so cleverly stitched together that I think you should dive in and let the author, and her twisted tale, surprise you. So, no spoilers from me.
I highly recommend this book and I am looking forward to exploring more from this talented author!
