Gorgeously written and full of page-turning action, this book is a treasure. I loved all of the characters, especially Oliwia and Jacek, who are fantastic in their own ways. They are deeply believable heroes, and I was entranced in their saga from the beginning. I wasn’t sure I’d like a novel set so long ago, but honestly I was scarcely aware of it as their unflinching humanity was the star of the show. There are gory battle scenes, highly emotional scenes of heartache, behind-the-scenes cunning, and triumph over adversity. A very full work that book lovers of all types could appreciate.

Book 2 in the Nite Fire series does not disappoint. Lots of action and mayhem, just as in Book 1, with Dahlia kicking supernatural butt. Used to diving in to solve sticky problems then hopping on to the next trial, she is trying this time to stay put. She is unused to having relationships, and the anxiety his can bring when people you care about are at risk. As she wades through those murky waters, she also battling a new entity – humans infected with a paranormal drug that is killing them in droves. I enjoyed seeing a bit more character development of Dahlia, making her a more complex hero. Can’t wait to start book 3!
Though not the first book of this author, or even in this series, to have an LGBTQIA+ character, I was THRILLED at the representation! I was worried at how having a non binary character would be executed, but I should have known this author wouldn’t disappoint. Continuing exactly where the first book left off, this one have me up late into the night and even drew some grunts and squeals while reading, I was so invested. Action, mystery, found family, and romance are the main themes here, but most impressive was the way the book addressed discrimination and bullying. I think this has to be my favorite Satan’s Devils book yet. Finally reuniting after 15+ years, Red and Cheryl are a couple to root for. The trials and tribulations they go through are not for the faint of heart, and going along for the ride felt like such a personal experience. The best thing about this book is that no matter how the cards are stacked against any one member, the entire Satan’s Devils MC stands behind them. Such a beautiful literary example of a found family. No where near perfect, but always there when you fall. I would definitely recommend reading Part 1 first, or maybe even some of the earlier novels in this series, but however way you go about it, pick this series up!

Oh what a book! I have read a few Satan’s Devils MC books, but I have never before gotten such an intriguing and thorough look into a main character before. Seeing through Red’s eyes, from his life before Satan’s Devils and then through it was such an enjoyable ride. Though there was not a romance as the main plot, the book was not lacking in spice either. The plot twist at the end was hinted at, but still unexpected. All this resulted in me staying up way past my bedtime to not only finish this book, but start the next! I also really love how it touches on diversity, which was a pleasant surprise for a motor cycle club book! I love diverse representation, but have not come to expect it from this genre. Needless to say, this author has risen to be one of my very favorites and I fully intend to not only read all Satan’s Devils MC books, but anything else by her!
If you are looking for action, spice, plot twists, a bit of mystery, close found family bonds, and great problem solving, definitely give this book a try. It does touch on some happenings in some of the other Satan’s Devils MC books, so if you are a purist in your reading order, I would start from the beginning. If not, you will spoil some surprises along the way. Whichever way you read this series, the important thing is that you read it! I feel like by now, all the Satan’s Devils members have become some of my closest friends, though fictional, haha.

Tally and the Angel is a cute and inspiring story with mystery, friendship, life lessons and some fantasy thrown in. It’s a great story that any young reader would enjoy. Tally is such a sweet girl who has just had a heartbreaking experience and now has to adjust to her new life, she shows such bravery and strength as she tries to solve the mystery in India with her angel. I enjoyed learning more about Jophiel and watching his and Tally’s friendship grow. I loved how even an ancient being like Jophiel could learn and be inspired by a young girl who only wants to do what’s right which is sometimes not always easy to do or understand.

This was a cute book to teach that greatness comes from your actions, not from how much money you have or how popular you are. It could have used more pictures for the intended age group. But it was a cute book and would be a hit with children that love cats.
Wow!! What a time to read a story like this one, one about trying to survive a pandemic, albeit ours doesn’t involve zombies (thank goodness). This obviously hit close to home as we are currently in the middle of our very own pandemic, and for that reason at times it felt hard to read because it was just so real and I could relate to Kella and her internal dialogue.
I love how this author managed to hook me in right from the beginning, the characters are super intriguing and relatable which was an added bonus. I also feel like she portrayed a young woman’s thoughts really well, plus all of the detail made it really easy to follow along and picture everything playing out in my mind.
This was my first book by this author but it won’t be my last, I look forward to reading more from this author asap!!

This is such a well written and fast paced book. From the moment you start reading the author has your attention. And for me I think that is all because of the main character. She is so far removed from what you would expect from a heroin. The struggles that she is going through and the gritty past she has make her so perfectly flawed that it really adds to the depth of this story. I honestly enjoyed this book far.more than I expected I would. It is a cleverly written thriller and I would highly recommend it to everyone.

If all the novels in this series are as electric as this one, you best believe I will be reading them as soon as the holidays have wound down a bit. I absolutely love the way the reader is pulled into Edward and Mia’s story from the first chapter and has us gasping for air while riding the current of attraction, dislike, and confusion that floats off the pages. Mia, oh my goodness, if I could have a ‘green thumb’ like hers, I would be in 7th heaven. The way she is passionate about her powers is quite unlike any other character I’ve read in this genre, and Edward, well, Edward is certainly the strong, silent type who has a strong personality and (usually) knows what he wants. Everything happens for a reason, or everyone, and in this case, perhaps both have been mixed in, read and find out!
The Broderick Coven seems as tight knit and as close as one could ever hope for in a family, and I adored the way they all look out for each other, and makes me yearn for that this holiday season, more time with my loved ones. Overall, an incredible read, and I very much look forward to reading more of this authors work. Well done!

The Traveler (The Traveler, Book 1) by Deborah Dugan. This book was so fun. Its a time travel book and it was told so well that I felt like I was actually there. The main character is a traveler who has traveled all over time meeting different humans so he can tell his story. When he meets Tristan he’s more than willing to listen. The traveler has come back as a spider and Tristan is deathly afraid of spiders so the relationship is tense at the beginning. Learning from one another they become great friends and really help each other. This book is full of action, sci fi, mystery and oddities. I’m not a huge sci fi fan but I really enjoyed this book. It kept my attention and I was truly intrigued by it. The start was a little slow but it picked up a lot toward the end! If you are a sci fi fan do yourself a favor and read this book!

Overall I liked this book. Its really cute story and not your typical paranormal romance. Its definitely a quick easy read, which I enjoy. I will definitely be reading the next book in the series.
I highly recommend you read the first before you dive into this book! We are once again met with our pained but striving heroine Dahlia Nite. Detective Alex Creed and Dahlia have a new affliction on their hands.
Together, although their methods very much so differ in execution they are trying to solve what exactly brought this new affliction to town and who. The banter between them is quite comical and I truly enjoy them as a duo.
I am really excited that this is a series that I can continue. It still just as the first had the right amount of action and fantasy to keep me wanting more and needing to know more.
I had highly enjoyed the first one in the series, I loved this one as much as the first. This time we find Tally and her Angel friend on another adventure. Different place for the adventure this time, in Canada. It was defiantly a different scenery compared to the first book, but the story was as compelling as the original
. I loved the adventure Tally and her Angel faced in this one. Danger and they both had to rely on their hearts they withheld as well as themselves to save the day. I love how the author strongly shows how we can achieve anything, even if it seems impossible, we need only believe in ourselves and trust ourselves. Even if the world seems against you, you can achieve anything! The story is once again beautifully written, and a must rea for children of all ages, highly recommend for sure!

I really enjoyed this book. I like how there’s a supernatural element to this book. Has a magical side mixed in with the cunningness of the gods. Trying to hide the whole event and what was really happening, tally found out some very interesting secrets to this little hidden away place. Tally had to rescue her dad and hopefully make it back ok. This short quick read was amazing. It kept me wanting to read more and I couldn’t put it down. Tally is such a strong-willed girl and really likes to learn new things and takes charge to solve problems. I really love her character, and the way this plot and story flow it really kept my attention. I really hope there is more to this stories and Tally’s adventures.

What a wonderful follow up to the first book in this young adult book series. Personally, I liked this one more than the previous one. I love how both books take you on an adventure to a different country. The first one was India, but this one is Canada. I’ve never been to either country but always wanted to go to Canada, so this was a great way to travel there without leaving my home. As with the previous book, the author does a fantastic job with her description that you do feel like you are there on the journey with the characters. And I don’t mean just any journey, but one filled with a lot of danger. I loved it. The one thing that I will recommend is that you read the books to understand the characters and how the magic was obtained.

There are many facets of this book as the author takes the reader on an intense ride into the darkest parts of religion. This book takes us into the world of shapeshifting, magic, and the ruthless hunt for power. The characters are ones you either love or hate, as in the cases of Claire and Archbishop Anarch. Claire is easily relatable, and one can quickly get drawn to how warm, genuine, and kind she is. You can’t help but admire her strength and hope for the best for her. Archbishop Anarch, on the other hand, is someone you instantly loathe and despise with every fiber of your being. You can’t help but hope that someone puts a stop to him and his reign of terror. This book was an intense read and did not disappoint!

This is the second book in the series and it continues the adventure of Tally and her angel. It is a great book for young adults. The story is full of adventure as Tally and her father travel the world. Every place they go they uncover secrets and with the help of Tally’s angel Jophiel. Now they are in for a race against time in Canada. The fantasy adventure includes ancient curses, gold hunters and mystical wolves. This book is definately a great family adventure and I do recommend you read the first book as this gives you the back story of Tally and how she came to be in possession of Jophiel. This story kept me gripped from the beginning. Tally is a very strong and determined young girl who makes friends where ever she goes which is nice to read. As she travels to different countries she fully immerses herself and the reader into the culture.

I did not know what to expect when I began to read this amazing book, it was full of so much more than I ever could have anticipated! It had wonder, intrigue, suspense! I highly recommend this book and this author off the bat, they really graphed a wonderful story, and I shall be reading their previous work for sure!
For me the sci fi component of this story hooked me right from the start. I did not expect to be sucked in as much as I was while reading. The characters and their development literally left me breathless. I was literally flipping the pages as I read to see what engagements of the story and characters would happen next! The author did a wonderful job on the WOW factor and wrote an amazing book!
Another thing I truly loved was the visual affects that were put into my mind, creatures, other worlds of living, and overall just the characters and the people or creatures they met. The story was mind blowing in one way. I was so sad when this story came to an end, I wanted to continue and be intrigued so much more. I just loved it that much! The author defiantly has a new stalker haha! Loved this book!
Wonderful and as well, wonderful writing by a truly gifted author. I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend this book to anyone who is to read it, or try out this new author as I did, certainly a treat and a very brilliant mesmerizing read! I’ve also become a huge fan of Cher. All the different characters are so interesting and make you curious about THEIR stories. This MC series is by far one of my favorites (probably the most in a series I’ve read by one author)! I love her work and I’m ready to read another one! This book has the feels and it doesn’t stop! This author is quickly becoming one of my favorites that I need to read everything he has written. Every book so far has fully engrossed me and this one is no exception. From the first page I was caught, and couldn’t put it down, wondering what was going to happen. I really enjoy his descriptive words that allow me to easily “see” the world around me. the clinic is funded by dirty money extorted from wealthy religious zealots who are run much like a cult by the evil arch bishop…. the arch bishop who does not like the power that Claire has simmering just under the surface.
Claire starts asking questions when tragedy strikes and you dive head long into good versus evil struggle veiled in religion.shes threatened, stalked and it gets worse but that would be a spoiler so I’ll let you find out!
this was a good book. I wished the ending had as much care as the character building did in the beginning it felt a little rushed but overall this book was a great look into Indian folklore and religious structure and is worth the read

Y’all- this was a sweet quick read. Priscida is so cute and lovable and fun to read about. This isn’t my ordinary type of book to read- but I’m glad i did! The pictures at the end of the chapters were so cute! I think the graphics were some of my favorite part. A really sweet book that y’all should give a chance (it makes you think!)- and maybe share with a little loved one. 💖
This book stars with an amazing premise, aliens, time travel, and it has everything to be amazing, the downfall is that the action develops slow, and to people that has trigger with tarantulas or with giant spiders, maybe it’s not the best book since our alien is in the body of a big tarantula…
The action develops slow and with lots of descriptions, for instance;
“I reach the gravel driveway where the truck is parked and notice the left front tire is a little low, but it should be all right until I can take care of it after work.”
This kind of descriptions, Tristan thoughts about things or actions that he is doing happen quite a lot and that is one of the reasons why the story develops slowly, if you like action paced books, perhaps it’s not the right book for you, but I also need to tell that it gets better with each part in the book, so take that as you seem fit ^_~

Unlikely to Stay by Ashlie Knapp is the third book in the Parker Lake series and is centred around Brant and Colleen or CC as she is know by and is a great romantic story.
The story is a fast flowing, well written story which brought theses to characters to life, I love a book that you can just get lost into and Unlikely to stay is a great story to do this with. I enjoyed all the characters that were in this book but I especially enjoyed the chemistry between the two main characters Brant and Colleen.
Brant is a nurse practitioner and Colleen or CC is a hairdresser within the town of Parker, both have serious crushes on each other but are not prepared to admit just yet that until one night CC’s friend’s decide to bid in the bachelor auction and buy CC a date with the handsome Brant.
They hit it off and the rest is history, but will there pasts be the ending to the new relationship they have created or will it be too late for it to be over. I can’t wait for the next book in this series and hope these wonderful characters are included in the other books. I would recommend this series to my friends.

This novel is face paced and a page turner. I literally couldn’t put it down from the first word to the very last! Lexi is a bit of a hot headed detective who is known as a loose cannon since her husband took his own life. While this is a very dark, dangerous subject I feel this author really handled it with grace and truth. Xavier is sent in to investigate Lexi but ends up finding out she really is a crack detective with a big heart! Their attraction is hot and fast, but with a child killer on the loose can they find him before he gets to them? This fast paced thriller, suspense, drama, romance novel is my pick for a great read you won’t be able to put down.

This was an interesting read. Now I’m not sure if I was having an off reading day or not, but I just couldn’t get into this one no matter how much read or for how long. I just kept spacing out. Maybe I just didn’t get the story? The imagery and descriptions were amazing and this was a very well written novel. I just don’t think I was in the mood to read a book that was as deep and dark as this one was. This isn’t my first time reading a book from this author before, so I knew what to expect, I just really wish I enjoyed this one more than I did. Hopefully I will enjoy the next one more!

Starting off a series with a bang! I love this type of genre, especially when a author can pull off beautifully descriptive world building. The characters were fun and unique and the plot kept me turning pages. There is the perfect balance of paropanormal, action, fun and a little romance. I cant wait to read book 2!

I have loved this series and this book was just as good as the rest. I didn’t want this to be the end but at the same time I couldn’t wait to read it. This story is filled with action, suspense, danger, great characters, love, family and plenty of twists and turns. As soon as I started reading I couldn’t put it down until I finished it. I became completely invested in Oz and Saha’s story, I hoped that even though they are both fiercely independent and strong people that they would let each other in. You can read this book as a standalone but I recommend you read all of them for more backstory and to get to know all the brothers better. This author did an excellent job pulling me into this story and I can’t wait to read what’s in store for us next. I highly recommend this book.

I truly love this author! This one focuses on Master Trentino and Angels story. Angel has connections to the dead spirits and helps out others like her Gramma did before she passed. Trentino is helping with the drama that occurred in book two. They meet while he’s checking for any bad characters and ends up in her house. The next time they meet, he saves her life by making her one of him. Ever since, they have a bumpy road ahead with all drama ahead, but that’s where you read and find out! This series is so worth it!
