The history for the inspiration behind the story is amazing. You can definitely tell the author knows what she is doing. She writes about so many emotions that you feel your right there with the characters. The characters are amazing, jacek and oliwia and can’t forget the villain of the story mateusz. I can’t wait to read the next book.

This is my first audio by this author which I enjoyed listening to from beginning to end. I enjoyed how the narrator pulled me into the story by using different tones of voices. They kept the story engaging and made it easy to listen to. They made it easy for me to imagine the characters throughout the story. This is a suspenseful story that is a fast paced about a detective and a serial killer that needs to be found before more deaths happen. The twists and turns had me wanting to know more about what would happen next. This is a great audio and I can’t wait to pick up the next audio by this author. I highly recommend this audio.

This is the third book in this series. It is my favorite so far in this series. I enjoy how this author is able to pull me into her story with ease. I also enjoy how she is able to take me on an emotional roller coaster with the characters. They are connectable and relateable. I enjoyed both of these two, Brent and CC. They are sweet and cute together. Brent is not use to having stability in his life and CC has lived in the same town forever. I highly recommend this book.
Nite Fire : Chain Reaction is the second book in Nite Fire Series. I’m a huge fan of this author and her style of writing instantly pulls you in and takes you on quite the ride. I highly recommend reading this series in order as it will help give you better understanding of what is going on and you get to know the characters better. I messed up and read it out of order but u didn’t have a hard time following. This series is definitely going on my re-read list. This is a fast paced Paranormal/Fantasy that is packed with action, mystery, murder and mayhem. In this story we find Dahlia Nite and Alex Creed investigating a mysterious ailment that’s leading to strange deaths within Sentinel City. The further into the investigation they go its seems they are finding themselves with lots of questions and no answers. Can they keep the city safe while trying to figure everything out? Will these two solve the mystery of what or who is behind the deaths before it’s way to late? I freaking loved this book and I highly recommend reading to find out what happens next. I can promise you won’t be disappointed. If you are a fan of paranormal/Fantasy then this author is for you. I can’t wait to read many more books from this Author.
This was such an interesting story. Lee has magic, and she can use that magic, but it is killing her to do so. Stealing to live and using magic to do it is tearing her apart. Literally. She just needs to get to the Ceteri to get them to “fix” the magic inside her. A great adventure in a race against time to save her own life. A must read!

This is a young adult story that I enjoyed. This is a well written story where the author’s use of details brought the story to life on each page. It has characters that made the story fun and entertaining to read. I enjoyed how the characters are connectable and kept the story engaging. This is a faster paced story that is full of creatures and maybe even some romance. I enjoyed the growth of the plot as well as the growth of the characters throughout the story. With no cell phones and a mutation spreading, Kella is determined to protect what is hers. What happens with her and her journey, you will have to read this book to find out. This is not normally a book that I would read but I am happy that I picked it up. It is worth the read for sure. I highly recommend this book.

I loved this book. I can’t get enough of this series. Book 3 had me captivated in the first chapter and never let me go. The author has a brilliant way of making the story complex with twists and turns and yet not losing you in the details. I love that we are meeting new characters entwined with past characters that we have grown to love as well. Our main female lead is strong and doesn’t take guff from her new vampire protector. She has the unique ability to talk to the dead. Her gramma is her guiding light from beyond. In this novel you get to find out who is betraying the vampires. I was shocked. I can not wait for the next book in this series.

This is the first time I have read this author’s work. I don’t know where I have been hiding, but it felt like Christmas when I began CC and Brant’s story. I feel like I have been hiding under a rock!!!
CC and Brant was a love story that was everything I wish for in a romance. It had humour, intense attraction, chemistry, drama, passion, energy and flair. I fell hard and fast for the main duo, and the secondary characters just blew my mind. I have not laughed so much during a book for an age. It was the most fun I have had with an eccentric and eclectic group of characters I have had in an awfully long time. This author’s story writing prowess is immeasurable and I will be snapping up all her other books asap.
A truly unforgettable story that has left me with an insatiable urge for more. 5 stars.
An enjoyable read! I was pulled into this fantasy Paranormal world that has action and an awesome MC. Her name was Lee and she was awesome. She was tough and likeable and I enjoyed reading her story alot!! This authors writing style was great and I couldn’t put this one down. I am looking forward to future books by them! Happy Reading!

I enjoyed this book. The world, magic system, and characters are unique and interesting. I both liked and didn’t like Lee. She is prickly and standoffish, which is understandable considering her life. I wish we knew more about how the crew came together and the relationship between crew members prior to the events in this book, and I really want to know what happens to Finn, Lee, and the people we met along the way.

The Unholy is one of those stories that has me on a fence. Though Wonderfully written, I still don’t know how I feel about the book in its entirety, but even then I can tell you some things about it. If you enjoy a story with supernatural undertones, then this book is for you! If you enjoy a strong female lead, then this book is definitely for you. Claire refuses to admit who she truly is in deep fear based on what she witnessed. As Claire deals with her internal demons to decide who she truly is. Will she finally admit who she is before she meets that same fate. I’m still on the fence but having a fantastic female lead made me intrigued. For that reason and that alone you should at least give this book a chance!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 What a debut novel! This story really sticks with you…even after finishing the book, I have so many thoughts. This story follows Becca, Sandra and Faith and for each of these young women from their different backgrounds in upbringing to what happens when they find out of an unplanned pregnancy. Getting to know each character and what they endured really grabbed me from the get go and I wanted to comfort them, the struggles they had emotionally and mentally never to hold their baby nor know even the gender. Years later, someone wants to “expose” Becca, Sandra and Faith for giving up their baby, as each of them go their separate ways but yet have this sisterhood of what they shared. There is plenty of heartbreaking decisions, deceit, tears and at the end healing when it comes to this story. I recommend this book highly.

Emotional whiplash This book had me raging one minute and then cheering the next. I was beyond frustrated as the events unfolded that I nearly threw my kindle across the room. It takes a good book to really affect my emotions on such a physical level – and this book did just that. I felt every bit of anxiety, pain and betrayal. The writing will draw you in but the characters and their story will keep you glued until the end.

This is the story of three young women who find themselves in a maternity home during the late 1960s. Their unique experiences bind them for life. Sandy a runaway turned exotic dancer who falls in love with a married mobster. Becca, a white college student whose parents disapprove of her first love, a black man. Faith, who is raped by the employee of her famous Pastor father. The story follows the three women from the moment their children are conceived to the surrender of those children for adoption. Then on to where their lives continue to lead after. We also get to see where the lives of their children go as well. The book is a multiple POV and reads really easily and fluidly.

What a fantastic sci-fi novel! It grabs your attention from the very beginning, and I could hardly put it down. I loved following Tristan’s journey as he learns of the aliens around him. This book centers around three women: Sandy, Faith, and Becca. All three women find themselves unwed and pregnant in the 60s. This was not socially acceptable during the 60s. They are whisked away to a home for unwed mothers to live during their pregnancy and birth. Once they have left the home, they find themselves unprepared for the feelings of leaving behind their babies. Sandra goes on to do well for herself, but she thinks often of the daughter she never knew. Becca lived a sheltered life but goes on to live amongst the elite and wondering what happened to her child. Faith grew up in a religious family and is left with her faith shaken after leaving her baby. She goes on to become a famous singer but is always missing a piece of her heart. Will they ever get to meet their babies? I loved reading their heart wrenching stories and being surprised with the twists and turns!

I have read a few books by this author in the past, and I always find it easy to connect with her characters. Lazarus and Sasha love to push each other buttons but you can’t fight the chemistry they have. Their story was full of intense suspense and a romance that will melt your kindle.
You might want to read the other books first, just to give you a little background information. Now that I know that all of Lazarus’s brothers are taken, I need to know their stories.

What a cute and adorable children’s book! I absolutely loved the way this was written! Talking to children about the important things in life and teaching them that “greatness is contagious”. The book also talks about perseverance which is a big word for kids but is broken down and explained in a way that kids can understand and that they can relate to! The author has done a great job of having the main character as a cute cat named Priscida which will draw readers young and old into the story and help children to understand because they can relate to the character. The illustrations are adorable too! I would highly recommend this book for any children learning about the importance of doing great things in their lives and parents and teachers who want to explain it in a fun way!

I read this as a book several months back and enjoyed it. When I saw that it had come out as an Audible I wanted to hear it. The narrator is great!! His gritty voice gives it that perfect cop tone. The story with audio gives it so much more. It was as I’d pictured in my head: gritty cop; hard case; rough life. Absolutely fantastic! The story is well-written. It starts right off with action that grabs you by the wrist and says “come with me.” The characters are very relatable. Nick’s pain is palpable. I recommend this story to all who love cop mystery.

Great world building!! I love fantasy and rarely find a new subset to that category! This author not only created a whole new world but a whole new set of magical rules! The characters were diverse and well detailed! I loved the premise that something crashing from space could infect humans and give them supernatural powers. Of course as always magic comes at a price but the way the author deals with that basic rule is not only entertaining but is entirely different from other magical, mystical realms. All in all I really enjoyed this novel and look forward to the next book in the series.

This book was definitely a step outside of the bubble for me. While I enjoyed it, I also felt myself just really struggling with several aspects of it as I read. It didn’t’ overall take away from my enjoyment I suppose and the quality of the book, it just really caused me to question if maybe this was really labeled correctly as a horror thriller read. As a previously devout Catholic myself I clearly see the struggle between characters and the drawn lines between good and evil here but I also felt the horror aspect became lost in the theology and native american aspects that sent me running to google and a dictionary for explanations and research. I don’t want to be doing that so much with a good scary book. I want to get lost. That is more of what I thought I was getting, instead I was dropped into a history and theology lesson and that was just not what I really needed at the moment. For me this was a personal feeling and I won’t dock the book on it. I will however say this really could have benefited readers with some glossary words and explanations. I would have felt way better than having to constantly figure it out myself. I did overall enjoy it and would give the whole thing a solid 3.5 – 4 stars so I will round up to 4. I look forward to seeing what may come next and if we get more books with a bit more back story or what led up to this one.

Several years ago I read a book series about a male detective haunted by his past and trying to outrun his demons. I absolutely loved it. Something about Fall to Pieces brings me back to that series and it thrills me to know that the main character in this dangerous read is a female. In a genre that could be so overdone this storyline remained unique to me, and I really admire the author’s writing for that. While it sounds unoriginal to say, this book hooked me from page one as I patiently awaited for Lexi’s story to unravel. I have read so many great books in the recent past but this one really reminded me of my love for the romantic suspense genre and my need to dive deeper into it again. This is without a doubt a 5 star read in my eyes.

I don’t normally read a lot of holiday romance, but I am so glad that I picked this one up! It was such an interesting read. There were themes and motifs I hadn’t read before. Like mail order bride with a twist, and trains, so exciting. I also rarely read historical romance; I just don’t normally like them. But I loved this one, it had my attention from the beginning. The holiday part was a real draw as well, I really wanted to read one in December and I am so glad I chose this one!

This is the 3rd book in the Masters of the Consulate series. I have loved these books. They can be read as a standalone however to fully enjoy the story that runs through them all you really need to read them from the beginning. I love the characters in these stories. The men are dark and dangerous and fiercely protective of their own. The women are also strong and determined. In the book we meet Trentino. Trentino is part of the Consulate. His main focus is to protect his vampire brothers and stop the corruption that is happening. However things change when he finds women of a enemy’s dying. Face with the prospect of letting her die or saving her Trentino chooses to save her. However will that prove to be a big mistake. Angel is a psychic. We start off the story of Master Trentino & Angel. This is another amazing book just another great addition to the series. Whilst contuing on her quest to find out who Lazareth is answering too she’s betray a vampire community. It’s a fast paced book and each page has me wanting more. As usual, the author produced another romantic dark drama within the mafia families. This book is about Emiliana (Em), one of the mafia’s princesses. In the previous book, we learn a lot of Em and how she was kidnapped, trafficked, but also eventually saved by Stefano – the secret love of her life. In this book, we dive deeper into Em’s story and the secret love she has had for Stefano, her entire life. Stefano feels the same as Em, but his father, an evil mob boss who holds her over his head in order to get what he wants. Throughout this book, the two of them build their romance, go public, and try to find a way to live happily ever after. I love the way the author puts a story down, makes it easy to read, and while getting details is also straight to the point. My most favorite aspect of this book however, is the bad ass women! While each of the mafia books are geared around a main female character, I thought this particular one showed a different side. You know, growing up in a mafia family, you have to have a hard shell, training, and vigilance. The women, especially Em, showed that while the husbands, boyfriends, and bosses are not to be messed with, well neither are their women!!
