This is the first book that I have read by this author, and I could not put it down! The way that the author wrote these characters stories, I was entranced. Derek is a wolf, and he has found his one true mate and lost her after she moved away when they were teenagers. He is left with his thoughts to run wild, as he kicks himself for not chasing after her when he had the chance. Annabelle has lived a tough life and never imagined she would come home, let alone under the bad circumstances. When she runs into Derek it is not all sunshine and romance. I was shocked with the ending and loved every minute of it. If you love paranormal romances this is the series and author for you!
