Unlikely to Fit (Parker Lake) by Olivia Sherwood – Review by Ashley Lape

Unlikely to Fit (A Parker Lake Novel Book 2)Unlikely to Fit by Ashlie Knapp
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the second book in the Parker Lake series that I have read. Just like the first book, the author had me hooked from the first page. This book is very relatable as it has to do with broken hearts and second chances at love. Although I do not have a crazy cat lady for a meemaw, Kelda(Griff’s Mema), was absolutely hysterical! Every time she was part of the story she was causing some kind of good chaos.
When Brekin Henderson moved back to Parker Lake she never thought her husband would leave her for a freshly graduated 18-year-old head cheerleader but he did. Now Brekin is forced to not only see her ex-husband daily but pick up the pieces of her shattered heart. Griffin Stephens also is back in Parker Lake to heal a broken heart because his wife was killed in a motorcycle accident. Taking over his grandfather’s bar Griff is now the ears to listen to everyone else’s problems. One night Brekin is with her two friends drowning her sorrows in margaritas at Griff’s bar when Brekin is too drunk to drive home. Griff drives her home and tucks her into bed. In a series of events, Griff and Brekin begin to get close. Could these two heal each other broken hearts? Absolutely love this author and can not wait to see what other great books she publishes!
