Sailing, seduction and steam
This is the first book I have read by this author and boy did it make things hot!
Morgan and Verdana ooze confidence and charisma and their story is filled with witty comebacks and sizzle. This is a full length romance and the first in The Hustlers Trilogy with each book focusing on a different couple. A brilliant read – recommend.

Vandana and Morgan have off the charts chemistry. Vandana is trying to get past a failed relationship and find a way to heal and move forward with her life. So, she ends up taking a PR job for the very hot Morgan. She tries to deny her feelings but the pull between them is undeniable. As much as she has been burned and doesn’t want to fall for him she just can’t help herself and they end up becoming emotionally involved. There is plenty of heat, drama and obstacles to overcome if they’re going to have their happily ever after together. This is a book that you won’t want to miss. I quickly got swept up in the glamour and romance from the very first page and I can’t wait to read the next one in this series!

the Cruiser by Rowan Rossler is definitely 4/5 stars. this book made me feel like I was actually in Europe and coming from someone who really needs a vacation that’s saying something. it was a fast-paced romance with a few curve balls to keep you hooked. our main character Vandana is a PR guru extraordinaire, who seems to always be cleaning up everyone’s messes. Well, what happens when her world starts crashing down around her? mess after mess to clean up, and no backup? who helps her clean up her PR nightmare?

I picked up this book due to someone’s recommendation. The cover of the book definitely pulled me in. The author was unfamiliar to me but after reading this playboy turns romantic, steamy romp through the ocean I will definitely pick up more books by the author. At first I had a little trouble getting into The Cruiser and I started to think this book wasn’t for me but as I kept reading the book pulled me in and I ended up really enjoying it. Morgan, a yacht designer, hires Vandana, a PR person, to manage his public relations. Once she meets Morgan and goes over his terms she starts to wonder if she’s ready to take a trip to Monaco with a man she doesn’t know or if she’s bitten off more than she can chew. The Cruiser is a steamy romance that will pull you in and knock your socks off.

The Cruiser: A Millionaire Romance is the first book in The Hustlers Trilogy by new-to-me author Rowan Rossler. How have I not discovered this author before now?? She is an award winning storyteller, but this is the only book of hers that I can find (flinging myself to the bed sobbing woefully). She has the utter nerve to give me a serious addiction to her stories and then leave me strung out and in complete withdrawal with nothing I can find to give me my next ‘fix’. She has let me with no choice but to engage ‘stalker-mode’ in an effort to hunt down my next hit.
Seriously though, I did not expect to love this book quite as much as I did. I really did love everything about it. The characters were developed superbly, the story was not only fun, but also sizzled off the pages. The author also managed to weave intrigue, mystery, and more than a little tension into her storyline which made for an unputdownable read. It was just what I needed to lose myself in after a very intense few weeks- so for that I am truly thankful.
What happens when a notorious playboy’s tainted reputation threatens to derail the business deal of a lifetime? He hires the best public relations ‘fixer’ in the industry. Throw in the luxurious settings of mega yachts, the playgrounds of the rich and famous in Italy and Monaco- some simmering chemistry, and just a little mayhem- and this story became completely captivating.

Needless to say, I will definitely be devouring everything this author releases.
Happy reading!

Thank you, Rowan Rossler!

I enjoyed this story. This is a newer author for me which I enjoyed reading from beginning to end. This is a story about a woman’s struggles with life, family and so much more. I enjoyed how the author was able to pull me in from the beginning by her writing skills and attention to details. I enjoyed the emotional roller coaster that the characters took me on. They bring the story to life and are written with so much heart. This is a great story that I was easily able to relate to the characters. I enjoyed how strong Maragret was and she is my favorite character. A story full of growth and easy to read. An entertaining story that I highly recommend. I really enjoyed reading this story which you don’t want to miss.

Once I started I didn’t want to put it down. This was a great start to this trilogy. One could only dream to have the job that Vandana had.

To escape some personal issues Vandana jumps at the chance to work with Morgan. Morgan is a successful business man that has a certain view about how he lives life. When he met Vandana there were instant sparks. Can they build on the sparks or will it burn down?

Overall I really loved the characters, their chemistry comes off the pages. And the steamy scenes, oh my (fanning myself). The author does a great job of pulling you in with her writing and I look forward to reading the next book in the trilogy. 1-click and get started today.

Sashimi is the follow-up of Evil Sushi, and picks up right where book one left off, so you will want to make sure you read that first! That being said, I enjoyed this one much more than the first one. I feel like the author and characters both evolved and improved in this book and I read it cover to cover in one sitting. I was intrigued with how much was going on, but not overpowering each other. You have some danger aspects, environmental issues, secrets, and mystery shrouded amidst a “pandemic” type situation. Evil Sushi had me interested, but not fully in love with this series, but Sashimi changed my mind fully, and I am completely onboard. This is definitely a series unlike any other, and worth the time to read it. I think this series will be interesting to people from all different genres and there is something for everyone. I will definitely be looking to read book 3, Wasabi

This is nothing like you have ever read…unless you have read a book about evil fish. Local Fishermen, Rod and Ned, thinks they have stumbled upon a new species, but soon find out maybe that isn’t ALL that they have found. Just in case you are wondering, this is not about zombie fish, that would just be silly, wouldn’t it? I enjoyed this one as the unique paranormal read that it was. I wouldn’t put it down as the BEST book I have read but it is far from the worst. I appreciated the down to earth, easy to follow characters and relatable aspects of “what COULD happen if….” This will easily appeal to quite a few people from different genres and was worth the time. I will also be reading the next one (Sashimi) so that should tell you it isn’t awful. If you are interested in unique and intriguing paranormal aspects, but not like anything else you have read, give this a try.

Vandana and Morgan are great, strong characters that are my favorite of the story. Their chemistry and growth throughout the story made me come back for more. This author is something else! Honestly, I just fell in love with the cover of this novel and swooped in to read it as soon as it became available. I thoroughly enjoyed the world building, along with the travel incorporated into the story line, as I found myself googling the destinations visited and have begun a travel bucket list, thanks to the details and intrigue within these pages. Independence is a glorious thing. If you can own it and allow it to better your life rather than take things away that could make it even better.

Enter our two main characters, Vandana and Morgan. Both are successful, alpha characters, and have lived their lives how they see fit, and don’t want to change for anyone or anything. Little do they know; life is about to get crazy and their popularity will surely skyrocket. I admired the way the writing lifted these two off the pages and had me blushing and wiggling along with some of the steamy scenes, that’s for sure! The question is, will they enjoy the company of each other more than their established go-to lifestyles? Read this charmer and enjoy. I will certainly be reading more and more by this author, including the rest of this series! Can’t wait to hear more about Van’s besties, potential hotties, and their stories. Highly recommend!

This is another great read by the author. This is the second book in the Evil Sushi Series. Sashimi picks up after the first book and it’s a must read.

Alieen is one of the survivors of Evil Sushi and is fighting them again. When another branch of the government takes over her base things might not go as smoothly as she wants. The quote I chose for Alieen is: “I should mention the shoreline is creeping inland. I’ve been watching it every day. That could be a problem. Strange weather is being reported from all over. We should keep an eye on it.”

Highly recommended for Horror lovers.

The author does a wonderful job with the characters and scenes, so that I am easily able to connect with them, understand what they’re thinking, and I quickly get hooked into the story again! I liked seeing the relationship between Rod and Sally develop and see the characters grow. The story moves along at a good pace, has some danger, issues with the environment, mutants, and so much more. Sashimi really has multiple aspects that I think many readers would enjoy.

Talk about a great story!! This author really did a fantastic job with great storytelling and just all the details that were put in…..fast paced romance with beautifully described destinations that only a girl can dream of!

I loved both characters in this book Vandana and Morgan. Vandana had my heart, I love a strong female character that know what she want….and she is a very successful woman in her PR business and is fantastic at what she does. When a new client comes along, she meets the handsome and successful Morgan. Getting to know Morgan on a deeper level and to help with PR, you really get to know the drive behind Morgan’s success. Mix in Vandana’s personal life and her family (wow is all I can say), and Morgan’s long line of previous ladies I believe when both Vandana and Morgan talk on a different level, you really see the connection of the characters.

This book is full of romance, definite steamy scenes and drama. The story line overall is fantastic and I cannot wait to continue this series!!

I haven’t read anything by this author before stumbling across this novel. While I wasn’t sure what to expect from the author’s writing style, I was optimistic as the synopsis intrigued me and the book fit my “preferred genre”. I am pleased to say the book did NOT disappoint and I look forward to reading more from this author in the near future. There are so many aspects of this story that I loved. I was drawn into the storyline from the very start and not once would I say my interest wavered. I really appreciated that the pandemic was a part of the storyline, especially since this is the first book I’ve read that incorporates it. I liked the writing style very much. I usually enjoy when books flash back or use letters to give us a bigger picture, so I really appreciated that the author included journal entries throughout. The writing was really strong with just enough of that element of suspense throughout. I would give this book 4 stars, from the well written plot to the depth of characters.

The Cruiser: A Millionaire Romance (The Hustlers Trilogy Book 1)

I don’t know where to start.  There was so much I enjoyed about this book.  Vandana and Morgan were such an electric pair from the moment they met.   The hotness factor was off the charts.

I’m not a traveler, never left the Country and haven’t been out of Texas in  over five years, but I was able to feel the magic and glamour of Monaco as I was reading.  I don’t think I will ever get a chance to visit it but I was able to live vicariously.  You could tell a lot of time and research was done on the professions and the locations.

Vandana wasn’t at all what I was expecting, I felt considering her roots, where she lives and what she does she would be more of a diva and drama queen but she seemed to be the exact opposite which endeared her to me even more.

I could go on for hours about Morgan and the magnetic pull he has not only on Vandana but every other woman he comes across.  But instead l’m going to tell you to read the book. Totally worth every minute of lost sleep.

The bar has been set high on this series and I can’t wait for the next installment.

This is the second book in this series but it can be read as a standalone. I haven’t read book one yet but after reading this one I am definitely going back and reading it because this was such a good read. I was on the edge of my seat wanting to know if they were going to find the killer, if the rain was going to stop so the flooding would come to an end. This book was gripping, suspenseful, and hard to put down. Lila Dayne, a deputy has moved to this small town from Chicago after surviving an attack from a serial killer and it looks like he may have found her when a body shows up with a message left just for her. Elizabeth Benoit is the Sheriff and she’s trying to juggle a lot of things all at once, two body’s, flooding, and keeping her opponent at bay. There are quite a few characters in this story and they are what make this such a great story. I highly recommend this book.

Reigning Hearts: The Complete Series (Books 1-5) by KG Fletcher – Review by Shannon Fowler

Reigning Hearts: The Complete Series (Books 1-5)Reigning Hearts: The Complete Series by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This boxset includes 5 great books! Each one about a new couple, each one focusing on hope and love.
While I recommend this entire series, two of the books stood out for me, Book 2, Stars Fall from the Sky and Book 5, A Cold Creek Christmas.
Book 2 is a heartbreaking story from the start! All the elements of a great story: heartache, confusion, sadness, hope, joy, love and peace.

Ginger is a character that I could relate to. I felt her sadness at the turn of events her life took. Jonathan’s guilty feelings were justifiably on point as well. Grief has no timetable and affects everyone so differently. Fletcher hits on these points precisely.

While this is book two in the Reigning Hearts Series, it can be read as a standalone. References are made to the couple from the first book but not enough to distract from this storyline. I suggest reading this story with some tissues handy.

Then there’s book 5, A Cold Creek Christmas which is super sweet and super cute. It is a fast read as it is a novella with instant attraction. The characters are easy to love and there is no real bad guy or evil lurking in this story. Yes, the main character had a sad life, heart breaking even, but she survived. Luckily Gio is there to help Amber learn what she has been missing.

The best quote is from Mama Sentieri
“Only you can make a choice to live a life of joy or regret.”

This is one of the best romantic series you’ll read this year. Every story in this series will touch your heart. A little bit of Hallmark movie in each. This author writes in such a way that you are engage right from the start. You are feeling every emotion, from happiness to the angst of couple trouble. You’ll find yourself rooting for them when trouble arises and cheering when they figure out what to do. From waitresses with hidden talents and childhood secrets to billionaire heiresses that get over lost loves, there is a story for everyone in this collection. The characters feel like they could be your family and friends. After reading about Cold Creek, I want to go find this imaginary town. It sounds like Heaven. The plots are original in that they are never the same. Each character couple has their own set of troubles, unique and set for them. It wets it apart from your boring cookie-cutter formula romance. This author writes original, fun and modern romance that has me actually enjoying reading romance again. Another favorite series for 2022. I’m looking forward to more. **keep the tissues handy – happy or sad, you might find your eyes leaking

This was a quick, spicy read. I like when books jump between the perspectives of the characters. The author did a good job crafting the plot in a short amount of pages. I could have seen this be a little longer to expand on some of the plot lines but then again that could have drawn it out essentially taking a way from the arc. I liked the characters but didn’t really connect with them. Overall, I would read more by this author.
