EmVee and her father are on the run since her mom and siblings are gone, and they’re all the other has left. When she sees Kayson at a fight of her fathers, she knows it’s not a good sign. EmVee has been experiencing some new things and she knows it is from being bitten by Silas, but what does it all mean?

When EmVee witnesses her father being shot and carried off, she turns to Kayson, the only person she feels may be able to help her. Is he telling the truth about her mother and siblings possibly being alive, or is she going to be on her own forever?
