After a 2 year battle with cancer tragically takes her sister Chrissy’s life, Ella gains custody of her niece Tessa. A complicated and heart wrenching situation is made even worse when Ella finds a letter after the funeral, from Taylor law. The meeting to discuss supposed paternity and custody introduces her to Jake Taylor, a man she can’t help but be drawn to, even though they but heads. Secrets and lies unfold as Ella fights for what’s right for Tessa. Will Jake do the same?
This book was so well written and emotional! Jennifer Raines really knows how to pull at the heartstrings and bring a few tears to your eyes. Taylor’s Law is a quick and captivating read with relatable characters you can’t help but love. I love the strength and determination of Ella’s character after facing such hardships. This story truly has everything you would ever want in a book, secrets, lies, greed, love, humor and hope. You might need some tissues but I thoroughly recommend this book!!!
