The Girl Who Escaped by Mark Nolan – Review by Enisha Reaves

The Girl Who EscapedThe Girl Who Escaped by Mark Nolan
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

If you are looking for a thriller that you can read in one sitting then this is for you.

Mark Nolan packs a quick paced punch in his book The Girl Who Escaped.

A spring break adventure turns deadly for 4 college girls who were just looking to have a fun vacation with no worries. However, the 4 girls were abducted, 3 were murdered and 1 barely escaped. But now, survivor Angie is not being looked at as a victim of a viscous crime, but as a suspect of the horrible murders of her friends.

Its up to FBI agent Brenda Reynolds of the Victim Services Response Team to help clear Angie’s name, help her through her trauma and find the real killer.

This novel takes off right away and doesnt slow down until the end. This was great in some ways because the pace keeps you reading, however it caused it to move a little too quickly without building the storyline and characters in a more well rounded way.

I am interested in picking up some other novels from this author as I can see myself clearing a day, gathering some snacks and finishing one of his novels in one sitting.

Happy Reading!
