Queen’s Destiny is an original paranormal romance story and an intriguing read. It is fast-paced with a lot going on and a lot to keep up with so it was slow going to read and keep up with it all. There are characters that you will like and those that will make you shiver just thinking about them.
It is the first book in the Blood Prophecy series and it has all the elements to make this a good story with prophecies, witches and vampires, werewolves and more. I will go on to read the next book as I want to see where the story may go.
Amber’s life is about to be turned upside down.
Overall, I did like the story however with so many characters I was feeling a bit at a loss. I felt that I was missing out and the story could have been a little more fleshed out in some instances and in others less so.
Just because I found it difficult to fully immerse myself in the story and at times hard to connect to the characters doesn’t mean you should not give it a go. I think this is one story that people will either like or want something more.

I am pretty (read: absolutely) picky about sequels when it comes to series that I like, and I’m excited to say that Lab Spill is even better than The Cool Thing. I still loved reading the first in the series of course, but this one is a gamechanger.
We are right back in the middle of the mutants in the Waydowns of our favorite starship. Poor RL and Jayderay are still kind of exploring their feelings, but also very aware that the medieval suit causing a ruckus in RL’s house. What or who is coming up from the Waydowns?
I liked that we get to explore more inside the starship this time. I highly recommend this book especially if you love sci-fi, dark humor, and general weirdness. You won’t find another read like this and you’ll be clamoring for the next from this author just like I am!

I really enjoyed Nightfall in Deptford. It is a unique time travel historical paranormal/fantasy tale where the story is in two different time periods and years but goes back and forth between 1593 London and current Philadelphia. A playwright, a Homicide Detective, criminals, fae and shifters are only some of what you can expect in this tale.
I was so captivated with this story that I didn’t realise that it is actually the fourth book in the series. I suggest going back and reading them in order. I didn’t really feel I missed out as I was reading it but will go back and start at the beginning.
L.E. is a new author to me and I was engrossed with her narrative and world building. The story is made all that more interesting as one of the characters is a real historical figure.
Tam is a fixer but to do what she does best she must travel through time. Now she must choose love or keeping the time line of the future intact. What would you do when it comes to love?
I am looking forward to reading more by this author.

A fantastic start to what could be another epic series. Award-winning author EG Manetti is a new author to me and I have to wonder why I have not come across her work before.
EG has woven many threads in a complex and rich world with interesting and yet complex characters with depth and flaws, and in this new series. Her words come alive and makes this unique paranormal tale easily imagined. As a reader I was drawn to this intriguing and well-crafted world and could not put it down.
Sin can see things others can’t and her talents are in high demand but her last case has left her questioning everything she knows.
Radzik thought he and his world was safe but now he is not so sure.

RL and Jaderay return in the second part of this story, RL still has the breastplate and it is currently locked in a safe, but soon a mysterious explosion breaks it and RL has to move it elsewhere, preferably away from Jaderay and all her praying and shouting about it being the devils handiwork, like she does every time she sees it. Meanwhile, in the depths of the Waydowns, the lower decks of a lost starship, an insane doctor, a bunch of mutants and some crazy pulsating mould are moving through the area and becoming ore unstable and unhinged as time goes on, some still look vaguely human and others do not, but the Coiler in particular is slowly moving away from its isolated area, but the creatures down in the bowels of this ancient and forgotten place all have one thing in common, they all need to kill.
As Jaderay and RL explore a new acquisition, they manage to find their way into the Waydowns and have no idea where they are or how much danger they are in, but will they manage to find their way back out, or will this lab spill take their lives, before the other inhabitants get there first? This is a sci-fi which is full of dark humour and darker environments where things crawl and skitter through the darkness to find their next victim in a tale which will equally make you laugh, despair and grimace throughout, but will have you so intrigued you will just have to finish it.

An Inheritance To Die For hooked me from the first page and I dove into the rest with no hesitation. I love Judy Moore’s books and her writing is just marvelous every single time.
Beck owns a bookstore in Manatee Beach, Florida, but things are about to get more interesting than she could have imagined. Her old, spoiled college roommate calls her to ask for help because she suspects her father has been killed. Beck doesn’t exactly want to help and put up with incessant demands, but she feels solving mysteries is her purpose. Musical Murder Mystery Boxed Set #1 has three books that are fun and watching what Ruby and Nova get up to had me laughing. Not to mention the entertaining musical theatre. The girls find themselves in some sticky situations whilst doing their sleuthing as only these amateurs can do.
You will find yourself singing out loud and tapping your foot along with them not remembering you are on a bus and everyone is looking at you. I love that KL writes her characters as full figured with lots of flaws it makes them all the more relatable.
This book Is an uplifting, short story! The story is about Samuel as he turns 13 years old in the first century AD. He turns 13 and is invited to serve in the Tabernacle as an understudy to the priest. This is a high honor for Samuel. His first day serving happens to be the day that Jesus was crucified on the cross. I enjoyed the description of the wonder and amazement by Samuel and by the priest as they experienced the ripping of the Temple curtain when Jesus died. I also enjoyed the peace and love that Samuel felt. This is a fast, easy, but sweet story and worth the time!

This book was an entertaining and humorous story in a way that I really didn’t expect when I started reading it. This is a new author to me and I loved getting to explore his writing style. I thought the characters and the story had been really well developed, with things happening at the perfect times. I connected with this story easily and found myself to be really invested in the characters and their journey. This is one of those books I ended up enjoying much more than I thought I would and I cannot wait to explore more of this authors work.

This is a well written and fast paced second chance romance that really pulls you in. For me this book is all about the characters and the connection they share. Although they don’t see each other for a number of years the connection is instant when the meet again. I really felt like I engaged with them and really wanted them to work things out. I thought the story was good. At times it felt like a bit more detail could have been included but overall it was enjoyable. It was a book that I found easy to read because it was easy to get into. This is a great story by an author I have really come to enjoy.

This is the second book in the Grave Digger Academy series, and you definitely need to read the first book to know what is happening in this one. It picks up where book 1 left off.
I enjoyed this story, but it felt rushed. The timeline was a a bit confusing as there are jumps in time that are not clearly explained, especially at the beginning. As it got closer to the end, it improved and things made more sense. I still wish we got more of a sense of the day-to-day routine of the school and got more insight into other characters.
I enjoyed the inter-academy games, and adored the squirrel antics!

This started out slower as I was trying to figure out all the characters and their place within the story. Then when the action revved up the storyline became more interesting and I sped through this. I liked the characters. Adrianna and Salvatore are quite the couple. Their individual characters are strong. Her being a doctor and not folding at the sight of Sal and his guys. He is temporarily Don and the way he puts others and family first is admirable. Together they are a force to be reckoned with. The secondary characters are very memorable as well.
Overall it is full of secrets and surprises. It is a good read that kept me on my toes as I wasn’t sure what would happen next. This is a first time author for me. I enjoyed the writing style and the world this author built. I look forward to more.

I loved the author’s writing style for starters. I was captivated by the story that intrigued me truly. The story was easy to follow and the characters really made the book. Throughout my reading, I constantly wanted more. Sin was great! I greatly admired her, and her strengths and how bass ass she was. Learning about the Hidden, really mesmerized me, I wanted more, it was just intriguing all the way through. And let’s not forget the world of Terra. The book really brought everything to the table. I cannot wait to read the next installment. This book had a special kind of magic, and seriously, it would be a sin not to read this book!

The Victor by Nicole Flockton is book one in the Freemasons series. Getting a divorce is the only thing on Ava’s mind. Cole doesn’t love her, he’s never said it. This was a shotgun wedding and she’s all wrong for him. Cole is blindsided by the sight of his wife and her demand for a divorce. He doesn’t want it, he loves her. They had a rough patch and neither handled it together with the other. They both dealt in silence which put a huge gap between them. But now, Cole has the opportunity to have her help him with a gala for the Freemasons he’s a part of. It’s an easy way for him to slip her back into his life. But will it work? I liked their chemistry. They really seemed to want to be together but needed to get over their hurdle. I’n interested in this mysterious mission the Lodge is a part of and hope to find out more in the next story.

The Gauntlet is one action packed story that grabs you right from the start. The moment Link and Ommily see each other and that spark connects, I’m glued. What is it? Why is it there? They are the only two fae left and I’m intrigued to know where the story is going. New twist on the fantasy/paranormal. I loved it. Let’s have some more. The story is full of drama, adventure and an annoying human fiance.There are lots of supernaturals around. I loved all the characters. Such a variety to fit everyone’s needs. A more grown up mystery by K.R Mullins (Kimberly Mullins) of the Notebook Mysteries (a YA series). I had very high hopes for this one, and it lived up to all my expectations! Mullins doesn’t disappoint! This book could easily be read by lovers of a few genres, historical fiction, true crime, mystery. Mullins ties in all 3 genres beautifully. Her character tie-in from her notebook mystery series, is something that made me love this even more. (It is not at all necessary to read the separate series, but it is a great series). This was an easier read, could have easily been read in one sitting if my schedule allowed. A must read for sure!
I enjoyed reading this fantasy romance story. This is a new author for me which I enjoyed and look forward to seeing what is next for them. This is a well written story where the author used details to bring the story to life. The characters are connectable, strong and creative. They are characters that may not be all they are cracked up to be. Control can be something powerful but what will happen when you realize you may not have control at all. There are some twists and turns that had me sitting on the edge just waiting to see what would happen next. This is a fast paced story that is hard to put down. An engaging story that I highly recommend. You don’t want to miss what happens with these characters.

I enjoyed reading this mystery story. This is the fourth book in this series which I enjoyed by this author. I have enjoyed this author’s writing skills from the first book I picked up from her. This is a well written story about a farther’s murder or was it suicide? This is a story that also has a touch of romance added to it. You don’t want to miss what happens in this book between Beck and Devon. This is a fast paced story that is hard to put down. I found the characters to be relatable and truly made the story for me. They have great growth throughout the story which makes it easy and entertaining to read. I really enjoyed what the characters added to the story. I highly recommend this book and this author.

This isn’t the first book I’ve read by the author. The author knows how to keep me entertained with her historical novels. Each is better than the last. Divided Lives is the first book I’ve read by the author that doesn’t have anything to do with Notebook Mysteries.
Lottie is a lawyer by day and would hate for her private life to become public. When her on and off girlfriend goes missing she starts being blackmailed. Another fantastic read by the author. Collateral Damage is the sixth book in the Mafia Elite Series. This time it’s Trey’s turn. Only this time she might not die.
Trey might just be getting his second chance at love. Hailey has done nothing wrong and she tugs at his heart. Will Trey be able to save her in time? The quote I chose for Trey is: “Be careful how you talk to me, Allen. You won’t like the repercussions. Make it happen with the board, and I’ll see what I can do about your daughter.”
Hailey goes to meet her dad, only she doesn’t call Allen her dad. She falls for Trey but can’t let it be known as she doesn’t want to get her heart broken. The quote I chose for Hayley is: “So you took on his crisis rather than tell him to shove it? He could have gone to the cops. I don’t understand why you got involved. It seems like this is more of a headache for you.”
Rivals: An Enemies to Lovers Mafia Romance (Mafia Elite #7)
This isn’t the first book I’ve read by the author. So far every single book is amazing in its own way. This book tops them all though. This is the seventh book in the Mafia Elite Series. I really can’t choose my favorite book.
Mia comes from a different side of the mafia. She isn’t sure where to fit in only to find her love in the La Rosa family. She finds that her father isn’t really her father. The quote I chose for Mia is: “I’ve only been here, Chicago, and Grand Cayman. I’m not sure where I would want to go. Maybe Italy? It’s hard to believe I’ve never been there, being Mafia and all.”
Nico was engaged and then stuff happened. Now he’s trying to figure out where to go from here. He meets Mia and knows that he’s got to have her. Then stuff went down and now they’re putting their lives on hold. The quote I chose for Nico is: “My sister urged me to purchase property here even if I wasn’t ready to build. That’s ours. We can build a house whenever you want.”

I have been a fan of this captivating series since the first book installment in the series. Each one, I swear just keeps getting better and better! I can never put these books down, and this one so far is my favorite!
Loved this one and all the suspense it held. Greatly liked Jude, and how much his sister meant to him. Sienna was awesome too! She saw something in Jude that he could not even see himself. I loved how much they grew to care for one another, as well as relied on each other. Not just for safety, but for comfort and trust. I was very mesmerized by their story. The moments they shared, stuck with me, and I could not let go. The series captivates me and every book amazes me more and more! Loved this book installment!
Amazing series by an author that knows how to write a perfect book, literally. I highly recommend this book, author and series! All are a must read for sure! The series and this book are impossible to put down!

Excellent! Such a different take on the paranormal world, and I am addicted! It is nice to see that different paranormal beings can live together in harmony, except when a specific nasty woman gets jealous and wants a fight. Ommily is so naive to the world she truly belongs to and it is good to see her finally surrounded by her own people. Her and Link have an instant connection due to them being the last two fae, and it seems they are destined to be together. Watching their journey to each other and Ommily coming into her own as a fae in her new world is a fun ride. Them fighting in the gauntlet, and using their powers together and seeing how they work together is a great scene. I can’t wait to see what comes next for this pair.

This was a collection of cozy mysteries that literally was to die for! I absolutely fell in love with every mystery that unfolded right before my eyes! Ruby was a wonderful heroine!
I loved how each one was surrounding a cozy mystery around a theater and production. Ruby was a great character to relate to, larger than life outlook, and she was real as one can get. I enjoyed her insight and her quest for the truth. I found these books lovely, full of a good time, and funny at moments as well. I loved how Ruby was perfectly imperfect, and was in fact, human. I read these books. and laughed, gasped, smiled, you name it! So much to enjoy! I could not have asked for a better time! Loved this box set!
Wonderful author that really captivated me in every single book in this collection. I highly recommend these books in the box set as well as author! Must read for sure! Join Ruby and solve the mysteries!

You’ll also meet all of her friends that help her through everything that she has to face. In this book, Tam gets sent back to 1593 and has to deal with life during that age. The smells, the work, the norm back then is way different than what she’s used to.

I thoroughly enjoyed this heartwarming, slow burn friends to lovers romance, and was fully engaged in the story throughout. The main characters, Wil and El are so likeable and relatable, and their chemistry really comes across in the narrative. El loves music but is escaping from her famous rockstar step-father’s shadow, and also the paparazzi. In order to sing her melodies, El wears a disguise and sings at a bar off campus and it’s here that she meets Wil. As the pair sing together on stage their connection is instant and it only grows stronger off stage too. However, El is not the only ones with secrets and Wil, who’s in the States on a scholarship also has a rather big secret of his own. El and Wil just blend together, but they will either have it all or lose their hearts. The storyline flows well and the plot kept me happily turning the pages late into the night! El and Wil are so well defined that I felt like they were old friends and I loved how their relationship changed and grew over time. An enjoyable and engaging read, which I definitely recommend, and I’m looking forward to the next book in the series.
