Royce Viktorsson is a billionaire who likes to live life on the wild side. Not only does he run several successful businesses around the world he is also a volcanologist. He’s back in Iceland to try to find who is behind all the accidents happening within his company. The last person he expects to run into is someone from his past. He’s not looking to settle down or have any type.of long-term relationship but something about this woman is making him rethink his future. But I’d he really ready to settle down? <br /><br />Michelle Yates is a travel blogger who has been all over the world. She is on a trip to Iceland, her second trip thus far, to write up a story on a company’s cosmetics. She’s trying to take back the reigns of her life and live the way she wants. She didn’t expect to run into anyone from her youth while on this job. Due to past demons she is still fighting she doesn’t want to get involved with anyone but the more time she spends with Royce the more she becomes attached. Will she be able to let go of her past and be able to have a happy future with Royce? <br /><br />This was a good friends to lovers romance. I enjoyed the characters and it was easy to relate to them in some instances. I enjoyed this book as much as the first of the series and this can be read as a standalone if you choose. The author does a good job of pulling you into the story and keeping you invested from beginning to end. It is definitely worth adding to your collection if you like these type of stories.
