This was a great 5 star read. I really enjoyed Pete and Rowena’s story. I work in a rural facility so it’s fun to read a book based on rural medicine. Pete wears many hats, when he is called out to help save a mom he jumps into action. While at the hospital after rescuing the woman and her child he see’s Rowena. Rowena is someone from Pete’s past. There is so much that goes on your head will be spinning. Rowena has secrets and hasn’t been able to stop thinking about Pete. Will her secrets ruin a possible relationship? Or can they have a HEA? All of the characters added a great element to the story. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what was coming next. If you’re looking for a good series to read this is the one for you.
