My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Cabin Eight (The Millersville Series Book 3) by Susan Specht Oram is book number 3 in the Millersville series and it is a thrilling experience.

She is accustomed to scrubbing floors and getting dirty. However, the dirt she just dug up might be fatal.

Miranda Diggs yearns for forgiveness. But the regret-filled young woman seeks tranquility by making a reservation at a strangely isolated resort after she accidentally sets a motel on fire while trying to erase unwanted memories. After ignoring “No Trespassing” warnings, she steps into a dilapidated barn and is frightened when the doors slam shut… and lock. She is driven by an insatiable curiosity.

To escape, Miranda prys down a trapdoor and follows the tunnel down into a sinister game that appears to be aware of all of her most intimate secrets. Her struggle against the ever-tightening walls becomes more and more dangerous as the trials go from gentle emotional prods to life-or-death circumstances.

Every page was exciting and I couldn’t wait to see what would happen. It is a unique dark fantasy trilogy. The story brings passion into your life. I couldn’t put the book down. I have binge read the series at this point and I love it.
